Well, I've been having a series of dreams, each day they're getting worse.

They always end up with me dying in hospitals though.

How do I get rid of these dreams?

You know, dreams sometimes tend to have some reflection of the thoughts in your subconscious mind.
Have there been any recent happenings in your life that would make you think of such morbid things?
Or perhaps there is something you don't wish to think about and this is your body's way of venting something you are trying to suppress?

My advice would be to try and get to the bottom of why you are having these awful dreams in the first place. Try thinking of issues you may be having lately and see if they correlate. Once you find your "x" factor, the dreams should stop coming all together.
    Good luck, my friend.

write about it on paper and then rip it up. That always worked for me as a kid when i had bad reoccurring dreams.

Umm.. Maybe those dreams are a sign? Then again I have dreams of me falling all the time. It might seem odd. But I like them.

You could get some medication that might work, or see a doctor about it.

Maybe just stay up kind of late..?
I'm not sure, because I rarely have dreams anymore. :<

So..I guess..try thinking of happy thoughts?

Maybe, you should go to your local psychologist. They often give some advices there. And if you don't sleep, you'll be tired and groggy the next day, hindering your progress for the day.

I see why you don't want to have the dreams I am sort of afraid of hospital's.
I don't have any professional advice for you but you could maybe try and think of something while your falling asleep so you could dream about that, it always works for me.
Another thing you could try is lucid dreaming.
Lucid dreaming is when you are in a dream and realize it in time to do what you want.
But you have to start keeping a journal of your dreams to help identify what is normally in your dream.
    Hope I helped.
    ^_^

Are you aware that there are people in this world that have a severe medical condition which causes them to be that way? My mother for instance is one of those people. She is a truck driver that has bad knees and a bad back from driving the truck but you probably do not care about that case either. Oh well I am not one of those people I am 6'4" 245lbs and I exercise every day. I would love to see you say something like to my mother in front of me. Probably never happen though you are probably just an internet tough guy. I doubt very seriously you would say that to someones face. Just my thought. What do you think. Oh I am sorry you probably do not have a brain. I on the other hand will be happy to buy you a plane ticket to come here and see if you have the nerve to say that to someone I know.

    @ Chairzard

What on earth are you talking about? I don't see how anything posted in this topic can be seen as offensive.

    @ the topic
I used to have dreams alot and I think they come from negative thoughts somewhere in your subconscious, when I stopped feeling so negative they went now I'm an optimist and I havn't had a single dream for 3 years now (at least, I havn't had a dream I can remember)

If you don't have any worries or negative thoughts then I cn't help you, you could try searching around on the net or go to a specialist.

I can't stand dreams and here is why.

About 3 or 4 years ago, When I was 13. I kept have the same reoccuring dream that my grandma was going to die while in her heart surgery. Well, soon enough after her heart surgery. She passed away.

Another instance was, I'd say about 2 years ago. I had a dream that my mother would be in a horrible accident while on her way to work. Well, One her way to work she had an accident. Which broke her neck and had to get back surgery to re-align her spine.

I still dream, but I force myself to wakeup when I start to dreams. I don't really get much sleep anymore.

Although, There is a sleep-aid called Lunesta you can get from your doctor that I heard makes you sleep without dreams. I'd take this, but only one pill makes you feel drunk and you see hallucations.

Pomegranate tea will help to stimulate good dreams, and Peppermint tea will help you to forget what you were dreaming about when you woke up.

Sadly, both will keep up awake, since they both have caffine. The payout is good if you can force yourself to sleep though.

Both are availible in stores like Walmart or Kroger.

    Hope I helped any

I would suggest that you see a psychiatrist, especially if anything's changed in your life since they began.

This is happening to me to. Except, I dream about my past away Grandma. I see her in a mirror and then when I try to speak she disapears. It scares me, I have to look into those teas.

If you don't even know him, how are you supposed to dream about him? xD

You do realise you control your dreams, whatever your thinking will go into your dreams. :)

I had a lucid dream once... it was pretty bad.

I was in a field of flowers. Nothing else. I just walked around for a while, before thinking
"This is gay. WAKE UP @$$HOLE!!!!"

    And I did. :-S

You have something called the "third eye". I'm pretty sure you know what that means. For noobs out there, it means you can see into the
future. I can do it too. I can sometimes predict what Simpsons episode is going to come on in the following evening. Subconsciously, but still...

Yeah I know. "Shut up Thorn, no-one believes in that crap". Lol.
