With Nanoha Vivid airing now I'm sure it'll be easy to shoehorn the topic in on multiple occasions over the next few months.

You know it's Gintama when it starts with a couple of minutes with minimal animation and not a sequence which consumes half of the show's entire budget.

Rumiko Takahashi's latest anime adaptation, Kyoukai no Rinne, also made a pretty fun start. Obviously could go down the drain once the actual plot starts but I'll certainly be sticking with this.

Main female immediately reminded me of Kagome, which is to be expected. Not that Inuyasha was particularly horrible, but that continuous plot of recovering one shard and losing like 20 the day after became tedious...

He's probably more into "normal" things than most of the people in this thread. If you can call sports which have some fans who cover themselves in body paint normal.

And I haven't dove into any of the new season stuff yet, so I can't comment on any of those. Cleaning up the scattered remnants of series that have already finished that I've started in the last few months. Like Maoyuu, which has its fun moments but has been generally disappointing. It's just been going "Oh, hey, this happened. And now this happened. Oh, look, MC has another girl in his harem. And then this happened again. This dude's a cowardly jerk, so this happens to him. This dude's smart, so he'll do this genius thing." Etc, etc, etc.
 
I've always been the normal one. Well, I'm as normal as a twentysomething in a Pokemon forum anime section can probably hope to be.

Airing toons, this is me a few days into a new season after saying I'd only watch Gintama.

Ah, the new season so far.. I think its doing alright.
Granted, I'm not watching any of the big names, but the first episodes of
Shokugeki No Soma and Dungeon were great. Hestia is Bestia
However, Denpa Kyoushi was...not what I was expecting. The voice actress for the little sister does not suit her in my opinion. It's a bit too deeper than I'd like.

Nagato was also great, but its SO different than the original Haruhi anime that its unsettling. Especially Kyon, holy, that deep voice. Also that high pitched voice of Nagato. But the best first ep: Plastic Memories. So good. Have high hopes for it.

Remember when I only had a few anime on my to-watch list? Remember when I started blabbing at every single new season thread on this forum?

...I'm supposed to focus on college, not watch everything that's being chucked out damnit.

Also, Denpa Kyoushi is a failure of an anime adaptation for the manga but newcomers still somewhat like it so eh. But really, read the manga instead

I really need to watch Nagato-chan. Seen both ShokuSoma and Dungeon and they were pretty enjoyable yeah. I am genuinely excited a lot more for ShokuSoma though since I've read the manga and can't wait to see the future stuff being animated in all its delicious glory! <3

Same here. I've got exams going on. And here I am, watching and talking about anime like it is nothing :p

Denpa Kyoushi's first episode was okay. Why was it a failure, though? I'm curious.
