Finally started my Poison UMC Hoenn leg in Sapphire.

*Recieved Mudkip (HM Guy)
*Completed Wally mission, and defeated Aqua grunt in Petalburg Woods.
*Saved and turned off.

After I beat Roxanne, I plan on picking up Tentacool and Zubat on Dewford, teaching Steel Wing to Zubat, and grinding up Zubat for a while. Tentacool will sit on the side until I get a decent special move for him.

And I just realized how hard Wattson will be. Crap.

Well, I instantly set off to Ecruteak city, along the way I caught the Sudowoodo (for dex info/possible HM slave), and a Vulpix in the area after! I had already gotten a firestone from the bug contest, so I evolved my Vulpix into Ninetales, and after getting Eevee from Bill, Alan called me up with a fire stone... What luck? Flareon time! After getting them both to around level 20, I went to the Burned Tower until I caught myself a Magmar, which I then trained up and replaced my SCHNECKE with... I went on to get my Ecruteak badge, got a Corsola while fishing to get a Tentacool (Corsola can't learn waterfall) while surfing, ended up getting a Tentacruel on luck, and ended after going through the Lighthouse to talk to Jasmine about getting the medicine.

Update for Ultimate Monotype Challenge (Dragon).

Final Update (#3) on Gold.

• Sped through the Kanto gyms easily.
• Draco evolved into Dragonite at L56 (to learn Outrage earlier) when I was fixing the Power Plant.
• Taught Draco three new moves - Return, Thunder, and Fly.
• Taught Poseidon Blizzard as well.
• After I beat Blue, I headed to Mt. Silver.
• With Rare Candies, I got both Draco and Poseidon to L66.
• Found and defeated Red! I had to Max Revive Draco to beat Snorlax and the rest.

Alright so, did a lot, lemme sum it all up...
Traded my Magmar with a friend, who then gave it a Magmarizer and traded it back to have Magmar evolve, I then beat Chuck, beat Jasmine, caught the shiny Gyarados, stopped Team Rocket at Lake of Rage, beat Pryce, stopped Team Rocket at Goldenrod Radio Tower, beat Clair, got extreme speed Dratini and boxed it, went around a route back and forth to capture Entei (took a bit), beat the komono girls, after a long fight I captured Lugia, trained my pokemon to 45, got through Victory Road, trained my pokemon to 50, beat the Elite Four, and stopping there for now, will to Kanto later.

Well, after my little mistake of using Entei (Not that I even used him against the Elite Four), I boxed him and went to Route 7 to get a Houndoor, trained it for awhile until 40 then went with it and the rest of my team to grind the Elite Four awhile, getting them all to 60, then I beat Lt. Surge and Sabrina and have stopped just inside Celadon City.

Chapter 15 - The Ghost Zone of Ecruteak.

I got the Hive Badge from Bugsy, I owned Silver, and got a Cut slave. Now...it's time for Goldenrod City at last! Now...I'm gonna go grind up Hoot and Tuff Puff at the National Park before going to the gym. Now...I hated Whitney. Her Miltank took a while to kill. I had to stall a lot, and Wanda beat it with a critical Hyper Fang. Whitney whined about losing, but after talking to her, I got the Plain Badge.

Ok...I got the Squirtbottle, then went to that weird tree. It was a Sudowoodo, so I killed it. Next, I caught a Stantler, and went to Ecruteak City, but went to Route 38 and caught a Miltank while grinding up my party even more. Now...the Kimono Girls are next so I could get Surf. They got owned by Blitzen, so I got Surf. Ecruteak Gym wasn't hard at all. It was as easy as Gohma from Ocarina of Time. Morty was laughably easy too, so I got the Fog Badge. I'll head to Goldenrod to get a Thunderpunch for either MooMoo or Tuff Puff since I'm going to Lake of Rage. Yup. This early in the game.

Update for Ultimate Monotype Challenge (Dragon).

Update #2 on Sapphire.

• Delivered the Goods, then headed to Mauville.
• Beat the Trick House #1 and then May. Menace learned Ember.
• Ember helped a LOT against Wattson, who was still quite a tough battle for Menace.
• Went north to Fallarbor Town and caught Skye the Swablu. Taught her Secret Power.
• Went through Meteor Falls and picked the Exp. Share from Prez Devon, then got Strength in the tunnel.
• Went up the mountain and beat Archie, then hopped down to Lavaridge Town.
• Beat Flannery pretty easily, although Torkoal was annoying as always.
• Got the Go-Go Goggles and caught Dragonfly the Trapinch in the desert.
• Made my way back to Petalburg and beat Norman. Dragonfly's Dig beat both the Slaking, although I had to restore the PP with a Leppa Berry lol.
• Got Surf! Now it's time to use it. Saved on the beach outside Petalburg.

Ok, time for update 2, I guess.

Serpentine is now level 44, and evolved into a Dragonair! (I have screenshots, but can't figure out how to post them. I think my post count is too low). Got through Mount Moon with no trouble, as Serpentine was at least 10 levels above everything. Beating Misty and Bakaero was a cinch, then on to Vermillion and the SS Anne! Cleared SS Anne, beat Bakaero again, then got Cut from the captain, teaching it to an Oddish that I promptly caught for use as a HM Slave. Waltzed through the rock tunnel (Dragon type attacks are quite effective), then on through Lavender town to Celadon. I spent yonks at the game corner to get a second Dratini (at level 18, unfortunately), That I shall name Sinuous, and a couple TM's. Taught Serpentine Flamethrower and Sinuous Ice Beam, then spent a bit of time deciding what their eventual move sets will be. Leveled Sinuous to 29, then picked up some supplies from the Department Store and finished for the day.

I took HM Guy and defeated Roxanne (Might have been in last update)
HM Guy evolved into Marshtomp!
Defeated Aqua Grunt in Whismur Cave
Went to Dewford, captured Daclus II (Male Zubat) and Tetrid III (Female Tentacool). Got TM Steel Wing from Steven and taught it to Daclus II.

I really need a special attack on Tetrid III and fast. I know from experience that these two are absolute crap before they get a decent attack on them, and Steel Wing will suffice on Daclus II for now, and Bite comes in a few levels.

Final team will also include Mito III the Muk and a Seviper who will not be named Conra II, because hopefully it will not be that unhelpful.

Ultimate Monotype Challenge - Grass

Grass UMC update-

Journal- Day 1

-Today I starrted my journey to become the best Grass-type trainer in the world. Upon receiving my new Bulbasaur, which I named Enzo for absolutely no reason, I proceeded to battle Gary Oak. Without the aid of the potion that had no place in my PC I would have surely lost that battle, but in the end I was victorious.
-After Delivering a parcel and receiving an empty encyclopedia, I traveled to route 22 only to encounter my rival once again. Unfortunately I was outmatched and outnumbered. With strategy, I emerged the victor (again) and left to the forest.
-The Viridian Forest was full of annoying bug catchers, who's only purpose seemed to be lowering my PP with pointless Metapods and Kakunas. After some time, I finally left that bloody forest behind.
-I was so happy to be out of the forest that I forgot to go to the pokemon center, heading straight to the gym. Before I realized that, I was up against the first trainer of the Pewter gym, with no PP for tackle or vine whip. Good ol' leech seed took care of that after much stalling, and after healing, I made short work of Brock.
-Upon stopping an evolution, I traveled to Mt.Moon, where I caught the second member of my team: Seras the Paras. Thus commencing the initiation grind, which didn't go so well against fields of Spearow.
This ends the first entry.

OK, I have a question. Due to the rarity of dragon pokemon in any game, can I trade a dratini and bagon from fire red at the start of emerald, because trading is the only way to get dratini, as far as I know, and Bagon isn't until halfway or so.
