4th Gen Voltorb Flip or Slot Machines?

    I'm dying to find out form you guys whether you'd like Voltorb Flip or Slot Machines.

    I was hoping someone would make a poll for this but it never happened.

    So I'm making it. :)

    I personally would of liked slot machines since the ouside of the Game Corner looks nothing like the inside.

    If they really wanted LITTLE KIDS not to play those games, they should of sold games that had the slot machine and didn't.

    So I say the ones without slot machines would be 25% of the total total stocked games in each individual store.

    What do you choose?

    Flip or Slot?
     
    The flip is fun, I played it all last night which I did not do with the Slots.
     
    i like the voltorb flip because i can actually win that. i never really liked the slot machines

    Seriously, I LOST about a few thousand coins n that thing. Now I just buy coins to get my Flamethrower TM.
     
    im actually liking the voltorb flip i was playing it before class.
    al most got all the card flip but then lost all the coins from a blast... haha
    i think i spent and hour or so just messing with it insted of going to the third gym...
    milktank is gonna kill me at least once...i dont wanna die... XD
     
    I'd say Slot Machines out of sheer habit, but I don't have HG/SS (which won't be for a while...) and haven't tried out the new game, so I won't vote just yet. I'm really disappointed about the Slot Machine removal (I don't gamble in real life, though), but I'm still eager and willing to try out Voltorb Flip someday.
     
    I prefer the Slots. I'm actually decent at those, and the fact that they removed people you can buy Coins from kinda defeats the purpose of the Game Corner. I suck at Voltorb Flip, anyways.
     
    Definitely Flip, I played for about two hours straight but the slots took me 15 minutes to get bored
     
    Definitely the voltorb flip. It isn't nearly as reliant on luck and you can actually win something with that.
    It requires a bit of thinking and is way more addictive.

    And it's free, so yay.
     
    slots, i have the jp version of soul silver and the new slots are pretty awesome.
     
    I actually like the Voltorb Flip, though I kinda suck at it, at the moment. But it's a cool addition. Slot machines were okay, it was kinda easy to win in Pearl. Voltorb Flip takes concentration and a little bit of luck.
     
    Perhaps if they had added more games, I wouldn't feel so bad, but somehow, the Game Corner feels empty with just one Voltorb Flip board. I suppose they're a bit better then the slots, though the ones in Japan HG/SS looked more promising then the last variations.

    Guess we should count our blessings that we didn't get "game machines".
     
    I sent an email to Nintendo of America about the slot machines, and here is the response I got.

    It's too simple, and too slow of a way to get coins. I mean, you get like, 20 coins if you're lucky enough to get them ALL?

    Actually, the fact that they existed in the first place kind of defeated the purpose of the Game Corner.

    Not in Pokemon. In Pokemon the players usually win. That guy was just unlucky or didn't know how to play properly if it was one of the newer (and slightly skill-based) versions.

    Personally? Not really. I wouldn't say no, but I don't think I'd find myself playing them, like ever.
     
    I'll say Slot Machines, merely for my pure love for it in the past games.
    I can't say I'm a huge fan of the Voltorb Flip, I've played it like twice...
    But from what I'm experiencing, I don't like it.

    I think the inside of the Game Corner is like, really, REALLY small and empty than the outside of it. Heehee
