"No thanks" Althalos left, going around the car "On your way out, could you please watch for the guns that are up right with the helmets on them? Respect the dead." "why would i run over graves? Do i look like a soulless Bas*ard?" Now the other sniper was out of speaking distance. Mark pulled out his radio. "If you end up in the armory and happen to find a silenced SMG or a combat knife still there, think of me? Oh, and don't get yourself killed, I don't want to have to come in there after you." The next stop before the Evac point was Gen. Ali. He happened to only be a little farther down the road, near a dead Luxray.
He pulled up next to Ali. "General." Mark gave a salute. "What do you want me to do with this?" Mark picked up wade. "I was heading to Oreburgh City, want me to bring him there, or do you want me to stay and help look for survivors, and i don't care which one you want me to do."

Why do I have to be unconscious all the time? his sub-consciousness scolded him in his mind, and Wade had to agree with him. He was about to get into action when all of a sudden he was knocked out. What was happening outside? He had no idea - he couldn't even see since he was unconscious this very moment. He wanted to wake up, but once again, his body didn't listen to his command. Then when he thought about Lydia, his heart missed a beat. Lydia. Where was she? Did anything bad happen to her? And most importantly - why did he leave her there in the battlefield?! Why didn't they go together?

He came to his senses and found himself on a car. An F1. Opening his eyes, he looked around and saw mark Vargas driving. He didn't know who Mark was, but he could tell that he wasn't on his side. Pretending to stay unconscious, he stayed still and closed his eyes. After a while that seemed like forever, the car came to a stop.

"General." Mark spoke, and Wade listened. "What do you want me to do with this?"

Then suddenly he grabbed him and lifted him into the air, but Wade stayed 'unconscious'.

"I was heading to Oreburgh City, want me to bring him there, or do you want me to stay and help look for survivors, and i don't care which one you want me to do." Mark finished and Wade knew he was in a dangerous situation. The General? Ali? Crap...if he continued to play unconscious he knew Ali would tie him up and bring him back to base for questioning. He had to run. Now.

When the General and the soldier were close to each other, Wade suddenly sprang and kicked the two in the face, then scurried into the jungle nearby, running as fast as he could back to Jubilife. He didn't bother looking back - he wanted to get away as fast as possible.

"Please don't find and follow me." Wade growled and spoke quietly, jumping from tree to tree, hiding in the shadows as he headed towards the PR army.

Silence Quickslash

Silence was just as surprised as any of the other pokemon when the human she had seen with Lydia and General Khufu earlier came waltzing in, though her stare was much more hostile. She followed as a Swampert led him to the commander and when the man went into the office, she quickly went to the room next door and climbed out the window. She closed the window, leaving it open only a crack so she could get back in. The blue feathered Weavile sidled over until she was sitting on the ledge next to the commanders window. From this position she could both enjoy the view and listen for any interesting tidbits. Though she was sure Hector would notice her sooner or later, she didn't really care. She had to admit, she was curious about why the human had come and she wasn't about to let some fire-type stop her, even if he was the commander of the PR. Especially if she found out why Lydia seemed so determined to be his friend.

As the human devices were inside his body, Rumble's heart pounded as he sensed there was a flaw in his plan. That's it! I was seen entering the TV station...
He heard a slighty noise behind him. He stood still for a moment, put the communicator on the floor, looked back. The room was clear... but he noticed the open window, an idea came through his mind.
Let's see...
He saw the small black Pokemon from before, and he grinned.

Rumble continued gathering more and more pieces of human technology, getting a TV along the way. The Pokemon, looking enormous with a communicator on his left shoulder and a TV on his right, smashed the back-door into pieces, making loud noise. That wasn't needed..
Returning to the usual war scenery, the dead bodies and the dirt everywhere, made him feel like home. But he didn't have a home so he got moving to the nearest building. The devices he was carrying did seem heavy but his arms could handle them. He couldn't lift those with psychic power... his powers had weakened ever since he was using guns. But he didn't care, as long as bullets, flame and paralyzing grenades were hurting more.
Rumble walked a little and found an untouched building at the north-east edge of the city, on the right. He marched in appartment on the highest floor (4th). It was empty of humans. He cleared their desk of small human toys, put the communicator in a corner, replaced their TV with the new one and threw the other out of the window.
Then he removed all the other human devices from his body and put them in the desk. After everything was in its place, he removed his guns as well and started cleaning them.
Heheheh..

Hector sat as he was about to begin conversing with the General, when he started hearing murmurs around him. Hector looked up to see a human walking up to them. A human. Unarmed, from the looks of it. He simply nodded.

"General, commander."

Hector was prepared to pounce at this human, but he knew he wouldn't meaninglessly sacrifice his life by trying to attack them in the middle of the base. He would get killed. He had to have another reason to come. So for the moment, Hector did not attack.

"You have a lot of nerve, human. It is commendable. What do you want?"

"Before I actually do anything, I would like you to know, commander, that if it seems like I respect you, it's because I do. Not because you are stronger, or bigger, or older than I, but because you rank higher. All I came here for was to ask you a question, commander,"

Hector sounded surprised. He wouldn't expect someone to risk their very lives for a single question. It must have been important to him.

"You came all this way for a question, human? You must either be very crazy, very brave, or a bit of both." Hector sighed. "Speak your question, human. But choose your words carefully. They may be your last."

Hector would decide what to do to him based on what he says. He might kill him on the spot. But he also might spare him, and imprison him. Those seemed like the most likely options. Hector awaited his question, a hint of interest in him, but on the outside, his stone-cold look remained. It was matched by a similar look from the human. Hector someone admired that, for a human.

TV Station Roof

The Zorua watched Rumble from the roof. He appeared to be building a personal hideout. Too bad it wasn't as personal as he would have liked, since Lydia knew exactly where it was. She decided she wouldn't take any further action as long as the little 'home' of his didn't mess with the PR. Climbing down the building, she changed back into her Eevee Form. Her disguise was always fooled due to her red eyes, but she didn't want everyone to know about her powers. She crossed few streets of mayhem. The Chanseys were still busy, but not as busy as earlier.

The Eevee proceeded back to the Former HR Building, and looked to find a huge crowd of pokemon both at the entrance and at the commander's office. Talks about a small boy entering the human base were scattered everywhere. Her eyes narrowed. She was sure it was Althalos. How could he have been so foolish to just barge in? Him being the enemy? Hector would tear him to shreds if he wasn't careful. Or at least take him as prisoner afterward. She walked into the crowd of pokemon, sliding through with ease. Lydia needed to know what was so important that he had to come back. She hid her emotions with a look of surprise rather than worry, asking other pokemon about what he was there for. There was no answer.

"What are you doing, Althalos? Your going to get killed..." she thought to herself.

The green, maze-like Pokemon was almost used to his guns being inside his body, and now he felt naked without them. He hung on just a little more, they needed to be cleaned and slighty upgraded. He'd close some gaps so the liquid of his body wouldn't infiltrate the weapons.
Rumble left his weapons in his desk and stared at the computer micros and speakers with his eyes glowing.
I need to change the shape of those and connect them so they fit in my head...
He tore apart the speakers with his telepathy, took the small mechanism and removed the useless parts, making him even more smaller. Then he used his telepathy again to give round shape with two holes to the plastic shell of the speakers -one for the electricity cable, which he could connect to his flashlight's lithium batteries in his left arm and the other one for the microphone- and put the new mechanism inside the new shell.
Then he did the same to the micro, just so it fits in his head.

Althalos let out a silent sigh of relief when he realized the commander wasn't going to kill him, yet, at least. "You, all pokemon, being the current oppressors of the humans, and this is something for you to think about, not for you to answer. Is it better to die on your feet than live on your knees, or to live on your feet than die on your knees? Think of it as in the position that you are in right now, as the attackers. Think about it from our position, of the weaker defenders too." Althalos didn't break eye contact with the pokemon. He didn't plan to until he left. "I have already said this a few times, but I can't stress it enough, that if I live through this war, when this whole thing is over, I would gladly, gladly, become friends with almost any pokemon again, and that almost is only one that I would rather kill than anything." Althalos turned around and walked to the door, but before leaving, he turned his head back. "I have no idea what any human did to you to make you hate humans so much, but I am sincerely sorry." With that, Althalos left the room.

Althalos walked out of the building, a purpose, unknown even to him, in his stride. He ignored the muttering and the stares that the pokemon gave him as he walked past. As he left the building he noticed the swampert from before, following him. Althalos whirled around to face him. "What do you want?" Althalos asked it, but then noticed it was carrying his weapons, which he had forgotten in his nervousness. "Oh, um, thanks." Althalos slung the sniper around his shoulder, holstered the magnum and grabbed the assault rifle.
"I heard what you said, about being friends with pokemon again. Was what you were saying true, or were you just trying not to get yourself killed?" the water type seemed merely curious. "Every word of it was true. Now get out of here before you get yourself killed for treason." Althalos answered and went on his way.

As Ali limped along the streets, a car approached and slid to a smooth halt next to him. Ali gave a low whistle. A McLaren? How come I don't get one? The suicide doors opened and out came a soldier, who saluted.

"Ooh, don't salute." Ali muttered. "It's...Vargas isn't it?"
The soldier held up a very familiar, unconscious pokemon. Wade! Ali gasped, his heart racing.
"What do you want me to do with this?" Vargas asked. "I was heading to Oreburgh City, want me to bring him there, or do you want me to stay and help look for survivors, and I don't care which one you want me to do."

"Well, first of all-" Ali began, but his sentence was cut short. The Umbreon jumped up, and kicked both Ali and Vargas in the face before shooting off. Ali's face swung back, and when he looked up, Wade was nowhere to be seen.

"Damnit!" Ali shouted. "Vargas, follow him! We need him at Oreburgh! This time, f****** tie him up!"
Before Vargas had even turned away, Ali had already calmed himself. If Jack had to wait, then so be it. "Do you want me to come with you?"

Khufu shifted his weight uncomfortably at Hector's questions, trying to keep all of them in the front of his mind. He was being asked of his past, which was information he didn't care to bring up for the pain of the memories.

His thoughts tried to piece together his life up until PokeRebel. Fragments of information came through his mind, usually details unconnected to the big picture. "I started life living with a human. Really, I learned a lot with the knowledge of humanity at my disposal. But... something was wrong. My master gave me no forgiveness whenever I made a mistake in my life, which was often." Khufu pulled at the firestone stud he had in his left ear, and his eyes seemed to focus on something else, staring right through Hector.

"He never treated me as an equal, only a slave. When I crossed the line on something important, I realised how he, and all of humanity, viewed us. I ran, never looking back, until I found Magnus." At the mention of Magnus's name, a pang of longing shot through Khufu, and he pulled harder on the firestone stud. "Magnus was a Graveler who, unlike others I had met during my life, actually seemed to care about me. He was the closest friend I ever had. For the first time, I began to feel confident and secure. But it didn't last. Months ago, the rebellion broke out and a human shot Magnus, fatally wounding him. It was then that I extended my hatred of my old master to all of humanity." Khufu shut his eyes tight and took a deep breath.

"So, with no reason not to have revenge, I joined PokeRebel and eventually became a General. But in my time here, I've begun to see something else in humans. They aren't all that bad, Hector. True, they have plenty of bad individuals, but don't we as well?" Khufu did his best to hide his fear, knowing that what he was saying could qualify as treason.

"And as for my skills, well, I'm a good tactician, and not a bad fighter. Good enough, at least, so I can defend myself if I need to."

Is it better to die on your feet than live on your knees, or to live on your feet than die on your knees? Think of it as in the position that you are in right now, as the attackers. Think about it from our position, of the weaker defenders too."

Hector listened intently to him. He kept his eye contact with him the whole time, and the human returned the gaze. The human started heading towards the door, but turned back to say one thing.

"I have no idea what any human did to you to make you hate humans so much, but I am sincerely sorry." With that, he left the room.

Hector pondered his words carefully. Hector knew that not all humans were the same as the ones that did terrible things to him. He had flashbacks of his former life, a life in Team Rocket. The pain he endured, that all endured to humans who were terrible to them. But now, he was the Commander of the PR, and he had a different responsibility now. Whatever this human believed didn't matter, he was still a human. And as Commander, he had responsibilities to do what was necessary, to do what was expected of him. That is why he was chosen to become the Commander. He pondered what Khufu said to him earlier. Not all humans were bad, true, but at the moment, no matter what, they were the enemy. Hector had no choice. He motioned to the Pokemon next to him, around his office.

"Take him. Don't let him escape. No matter what sort of person he is...he's a human. Imprison him in the cells."

With that, Hector turned back to Khufu. There was planning to do, and no idealist human who wanted peace is going to get in the way of their victories. For now, he'll be captured. But later, Hector may decide to execute him. It all depended on the circumstance.

The Zorua decided she had to leave, knowing that if she asked too many questions about Althalos that the PR members may have suspected something. Turning around, she failed to see Althalos also walking out, getting captured by the pokemon at the same time. She let out a huge sigh as the doors closed behind her. She had to see what Rumble was up to, but this time she didn't want to spy on him. By now, walking in seemed like the best idea. Going to his 'Secret' Base, she walked through the front door to see nothing.

"He has to be on one of the higher floors..."

Peering into the room, she spotted a elevator, approaching it and getting inside. Placing her paw on the button for the 2nd floor, she waited for the doors to open. A few moments later, the doors slid open, to reveal yet again a blank room. Growling, she smashed the button next to it. Going up again, she became more impatient, the next room also revealing nothing of interest. Pressing the next button, she knew that the Reuniclus was on the top floor.

With a 'ding' the elevator hit the top floor, the Zorua walking out with a smile on her face. Rumble was playing around with devices and putting them into his body, primarily his head.

"What are you doing?" she asked laughing, but also suspicious. Her red eyes pierced back at the Reuniclus' own eyes, which were glowing. Lydia continued to talk, "Nice place you got here. Mind if I stick around for awhile?"

We need him at Oreburgh! This time, f***ing tie him up!" ali finished his sentence "Sir!" before mark turned around Ali asked "Do you want me to come with you" Mark jumped back into the center seat of the car. "What are you waiting for, get your ass in!" With both of them in the car, mark put the car in first and sped off in the direction wade ran in. Mark pulled out his radio and said "Althalos, if you see wade, grab him and tie him up, over"

"What are you waiting for? Get your ass in!" Mark Vargas yelled, to which Ali obeyed. It occurred to him that, as Mark's superior, he shouldn't be spoken to like that, but now was not time for a battle of authority. The two roared down the road in the McLaren, following where Wade disappeared. The car screeched to a halt outside the wooded area, and Ali cursed loudly.
"Right Mark, how quick are you on your feet?" Ali asked, before exiting the vehicle. He took off his heavy boots and sprinted through the trees, producing his shock gun from under his hoodie. Ali's slight stature allowed him a silent approach, but the Umbreon was much faster and more evasive. Every now and then Ali would see a figure moving to his left or right, but would barely raise his gun in time.
The pokemon was fast. Its blue rings appeared as streaks when Ali saw them, and the bolts of electricity from Ali's gun chased them through the branches. All Ali could do is hope that he got lucky, as he aimed at the enemy running through the trees. This time, I'll get him, He thought, as he pulled the trigger...

Alex pulled out his M4 from his sling and carried it in his hands, ready to fire at any moment. This place is dead, Alex thought as he headed down the street. Other than the occasional noise, he was right. Alex looked up to see a Steelix laying down a block away. Alex jogged over there, not watching carefully for Pokemon. Alex was starting to slow down, just before a Machoke tackled Alex to the ground and began punching him. Alex saw a Model 1887 shotgun just in his reach and picked it up, loaded it and aimed it at the Machoke and fired. the Machoke flew off Alex and landed on a trash can. The Pokemon was bleeding from the Buckshot, but Alex felt no remorse. Alex picked up his M4 and finished off the Machoke. Alex brushed himself off and continued to walk towards the dead Steelix, carefully checking his corners. When Alex arrived at the corpse, he looked around it to find a Human frozen in a block of ice. Alex identified the Human as Jack, the Commander of the HR. Alex felt around in his pocket and grabbed his lighter. He lighted the lighter and attempted to melt the ice. This isn't working, Alex thought. Alex grabbed a piece of wood and tried to set that on fire. The fire wouldn't catch so Alex dumped the wood in a Gas tank, and that lit perfectly. Alex left the piece of wood on top of the ice block, waiting for it to melt.

Out of no where, pokemon. At least ten. They surrounded Althalos and slowly started to tighten their circle. Althalos leveled the AK-47 and pulled the trigger, spinning as he did so. "Goddammit! I didn't want to kill anyone else today!" Althalos said and tensed his forearm. The hidden blade slid out of it's sheath and he walked over to one of the surviving pokemon, a mightyena. Althalos helped it to stand and grabbed it's snout, forcing it to look at him. "You go back to your commander and tell him he's going to have to try harder to get me." Althalos pushed it away and it ran off, yelping. Althalos finished off the rest of the pokemon with a bullet to the head from the AK. He had never been much for close combat, but he kept the hidden blade unsheathed.
Althalos continued on his way, trying to push his last actions out of his mind. He walked though the deserted streets and as he did, he decided to start standing the guns up again. He walked down the street, sticking the guns up right and putting helmets on the stocks, saluting each. Althalos had just finished putting up the last one on the street and saluted it when he heard a feral growl from behind. two manectric were flanking an Armaldo. The two electric dogs barked and the armaldo silenced them. "You're coming with us, human." It said cruelly. Althalos shook his head and aimed the AK-47, but when he pulled the trigger, it just clicked, it was like the gun was mocking him, telling him he was going to die. Althalos tossed the gun to the ground and held up his arms just as the two manectric ran at him. "You little b*stards, leave me alone!" Althalos shouted as one of the pokemon jumped on him. Althalos raised his arms and the hidden blade lodged itself in the manectrics chest. Althalos pulled his right arm back to find it covered in blood. The pokemon collapsed on him, with a look of surprise in its face. Althalos pushed he pokemon off of him and stood up. "Don't you f**k with me!" Althalos yelled at them. Something hit his back and Althalos collapsed, he rolled over to have his nose touching that of the other manectric. "You are going to pay for killing my brother!" it growled and before it could do anything, Althalos thrust his arm up, stabbing the other one in the chest. He tossed that pokemon off of him and looked at the armaldo. His right shoulder hurt and he grabbed it with his other hand. The Armaldo charged a him and knocked him to the ground. They scuffled for a bit and Althalos managed to disable its right claw. Eventually, Althalos stood over the pokemon, blood dripping from his shirt and face. He couldn't tell if it was his or the pokemons, but he felt like throwing up either way. He tensed his forearm and the blade sheathed. He fell to his knees, crying, and blacked out.

Rumble had just finished putting the device into his ear, when he heard a noise from outside and Lydia marched into the appartment. He raised his head and stared into her red eyes.
"What are you doing?" she asked laughing. She seemed rather suspicious. He just continued staring without saying anything.

"Nice place you got here. Mind if I stick around for awhile?"
"Well. Looks like you've found my secret base. But I don't mind... Have a seat." he said and pointed at the couch. The whole couch shackled, levitated and moved towards her with incredible speed.
Rumble put down his arm at the last moment, he just wanted to scare her.
"Hah.. Seen anything interesting lately?" asked as he was installing his guns again.

"Right Mark, how quick are you on your feet?" Ali questioned Mark. "Just try to keep up, general, sir." Mark sprinted off, 'it's been too long since i got to do parkour', mark thought to himself. He was catching up with his target, that was some pretty good speed there.A big rock was coming up though. "Sh*t". Mark Jumped, using his hand to keep his height. "I'm coming for you wade, Parkour beats all." Mark got closer and closer till he was just a little behind the pokemon. "Ali, keep up please" Mark pulled out his pistol and aimed it at the umbreon. He pulled the trigger to be met with a *click* when a bolt of lightning came. "Oh damn, check fire, Check your fire." mark yelled at Ali. He made it next to the pokemon. "C'mon gimme a challenge, this is to easy."

The couch flew at her when the Reuniclus shot it at her, though it stopped right in front of her face. Her expression didn't change, but she jumped on the counch with a grin. Rumble was installing some guns, talking to her at the same time, "Hah..Seen anything interesting lately?"

"Other than you? Naww, nothing much, but apparently a human entered the PR. Seen anything? Also, you still haven't answered my first question. What are you doing with all of that stuff?"

Lydia looked around the room as Rumble was doing other things. She wondered where Althalos was, and she looked out the window to see nothing. It may have not been Althalos, but she could imagine him doing something similar to this. Why? The Zorua didn't know. Nothing could get through that Arcanine's brain. He was cold as stone. The leader of the PR. Her friend might as well have been dead...

Rumble was quite bothered she wasn't impressed. She's seen a lot today... maybe another time.
Lydia snapped him out of his thoughts when she started talking.

"Other than you? Naww, nothing much, but apparently a human entered the PR. Seen anything? Also, you still haven't answered my first question. What are you doing with all of that stuff?"

He stopped loading the harpoon launcher, stood still to chose his words. Without looking at her, he spoke:
"... That's none of your business... You're quite petty."
Hmm.. did she just say human? Hah.. they'll take care of him in the PR. Wish I was the one who got to do it.

Lydia was looking around the room, outside the window... Rumble tried to peer into her thoughts. He grinned.
"So what happened with that human? Maybe.. you're concerned about them?"
