"Vargas, I know tensions are high, but if you talk to me like that again, you'll be sorry." Ali shouted as Mark continued to give him orders. "Please remember that I'm your superior."

Ali was now in front of Mark, running directly underneath where Wade was jumping along the branches. Ali stayed a step behind to reduce risk of attack, and raised his gun. He shot at the Umbreon, and at this range he was almost certain to hit.

"Get ready to catch it as it falls, Vargas!" Ali yelled. "We don't want him dead, the Commander will want to finish this one off!"

Ali shot up once more, and heard a thud. Smiling, Ali kept running towards the city centre, now visible through the trees.
"I need to go to the Base! Sort it, Vargas!" he shouted. Althalos was in there alone, and was riddled with emotion. The combination was deadly, and Ali was certain it wouldn't end well.

(OOC: I left it so that Aura can decide whether I hit him or not. If I didn't, Mark can finish it :D)

"That's none of your business...You're quite petty," the pokemon replied.

"Thanks, I try my best," she snickered back. The pokemon was hiding something, and she didn't like it. She would have to get Rumble to trust her more, though she knew that was not going to be a simple task as she would've liked.

"So what happened with that human? Maybe...you're concerned about them?"

The Zorua laughed, "No, not at all. I'm just wondering if any other humans are going to be following," The psychic pokemon couldn't see through her mind anyways, due to her dark aura, "In fact, I think I'm going to go outside just to check. Do you want to join me?" she asked.

Not waiting for an answer, she proceeded to ope the window in front of her. With a wave, she climbed down. It was a long way down, but as she looked behind her, she saw another human running towards the base. Though far away, they would be there in no time. "Just as I suspected...there's another one after all." Reaching the ground, the Zorua shook the dust off of her and ran to face the human. They were getting annoying, and unless she found a reason not to, she would attack.

Hector Arcturus
New PR Base
Hector's office

Hector was deep in thought. He had been thinking about the human a bit, but returned to his conversation with Khufu. He spoke to him, wishing to clear the air and get a bit more familiar. He closed the door and made sure no one was around to listen.

"Here's the deal, General. The last battle was a travesty in my eyes. I know, probably a surprise to hear, but this must be said. We won, yes, but if we keep having "victories" like these, we may as well give up on trying to achieve our rights over the humans. We lost too many soldiers, good soldiers. Our battle plan was too messy, and a bit reckless. I plan not to have every conflict from here on to be as bad as the first. This must, of course, remain between you and me so we don't lessen our troop's morale. In their eyes, this must be a complete victory. I'm sure you understand. Ignorance is a bliss sometimes."

Hector sighed and paced a bit, then stared back at the General.

"You spoke earlier of having second thoughts, of saying not all humans are bad. I know this to be true as well, Khufu, but we cannot hesitate. I am the Commander, and you are my general. We have to represent our cause to the Pokemon. No matter if we meet a human with good intention, like perhaps the one here earlier is, we must do what is necessary, time and time again. I want you to understand this, and to promise me you will always do what is necessary, no matter how terrible it might sound, and no matter how much a human seems like a nice one."

Hector stopped talking as he heard a knock on the door. Hector grunted to let whoever it was in. It was a few Pokemon, carrying the body of the human that had entered earlier.

"Here he is, Commander", a Charmeleon said. Hector examined his bloody body and turned to the Pokemon.

"Where's the rest of you?"

The Charmeleon shook his head. Hector lowered his head and closed his eyes. He sighed and began speaking.

"Put him in the cells, monitor him heavily. Have periodic switches of guarding him. I want him on 24/7 surveillance." The Charmeleon hesitated, then saluted and left with his body.

Hector purposely decided to capture instead of kill him. Now, he had another goal. Simple interrogation was out of the question, but Hector had something altogether different in mind. He would wait for the human to gain conciousness before proceeding.

"No, not at all. I'm just wondering if any other humans are going to be following"
Rumble knew she was lying. It was to be expected - this Pokemon is clearly born a deceiver. He could tell she was lying just by her answer...
But before saying anything she turned around and headed for the window.

"In fact, I think I'm going to go outside just to check. Do you want to join me?"

Rumble focused his mind on his body making him able to fall out of the appartment's window when maintaining levitation, so he could land without injuring himself.
Right when he landed, after the small Pokemon, what he saw came as an electrocuttion shock: a human. Alive. He slowly put his left hand in the glove of the right hand, 'click' loading it with a drill.

Rumble was levitating softly in the air with the calm of a killer... He didn't care where that Zorua was, he just wanted to go to the PR. He crossed the street, following the human from afar.

Ali slowed his pace as he got closer to the old HR base, placing his gun inside his hoodie: he wanted to give the impression of 'coming in peace', but he didn't expect it to go down too nicely. He was at arm's length from the doors when he heard movement behind him. He span on his heel and found himself inches from a Zorua.

"Ah, it's you," Ali growled, ready to pull out his knives. "You gave us quite some trouble at Sunyshore the other day, didn't you?"

Ali was tired, angry and impatient. He hadn't the time to mess around with a nuisance like this. One wrong move, and I'll slice your throat.

(OOC: Sorry it's short...)

The boy had stopped running by now. He wore a large hoodie, appearing to have no weapons with him. The Zorua thought she could recognize the human, but nothing came to mind as the two faced each other. He looked to be in great distress.

"Ah, it's you," the boy growled at her, "You gave us quite some trouble at Sunyshore the other day, didn't you?"

Well, apparently the human knew about her. It was obvious he was from the Human Republic. She growled back in unison to the boy.

"If you have any weapons, I'd suggest leaving them alone. If anyone is going to be the first to attack it will be me," she snarled, her eyes flashing with color for a brief second as she set up a Sucker Punch, "What business do you have at the PR Base? We already had a human come in not too long ago. You will get attacked...if you go in..."

Lydia kept her voice firm, but she didn't want to threaten the body seeing she didn't have as much power as she would have wished for a fight.

Althalos woke up to bars. He slowly sat up from the hard cot that was in the cell and tried to stretch, but it hurt to move. He was sore all over and he was still covered in blood. "Today just isn't going well for me," Althalos sighed. He looked around and felt a weight on his right arm. He looked down to see the hidden blade still there. From all appearances it looked like a normal bracer, something to protect from a physical attack. Althalos was glad to know he had some sort of weapon. He tried rolling his shoulders and winced from the pain. He remembered his fight with the armaldo. Althalos didn't feel any stinging, only sore, so he assumed that most of the blood was from that of the two manectric and the armaldo. The swampert from before was guarding the cell door along with a charmeleon and a Rhyhorn. "Can I at least get washed off?" Althalos spoke to the swampert, startling it. Without a word, it launched a water gun attack at him, pushing him back and eventually making him fall. "Thanks a lot." Althalos said sarcastically, rubbing his rear. He sat back down on the cot to see where any of his wounds were. He had only a few minor cuts, but some pretty large bruises. Althalos looked around for something to do, but the only thing it seemed he could do was lay on the cot and wait for something to happen, and so he did.

"If you have any weapons, I'd suggest leaving them alone. If anyone is going to be the first to attack it will be me." The Zorua certainly had an attitude, he'd give her that. "What business do you have at the PR Base? We already had a human come in not too long ago. You will get attacked...if you go in..."

Ali saw a flash in the Zorua's eyes, and braced himself in case she attacked. When no attack came, Ali replied.

"Said human is one of my best snipers, and his involvement here is very much my business," Ali snarled. "If there is any chance of him being in danger, I'm just as willing to take the risk."
Ali tightened his grip on his knife. The bitterness in his voice was hard to disguise.
"If you're so interested in this human, why aren't you in there trying to kill him? That's what you lot do best, isn't it?"

"That sounds nice," Lydia smiled back, "I wish I was someone of that quality."

By now, the human was gripping onto a knife that was somewhat in the pokemon's view. She growled facing the knife then the boy, sending out one more warning. Not as if she wanted to get stabbed, but this human was angry at the loss of Althalos. She was too...

"If you're so interested in this human, why aren't you in there trying to kill him? That's what you lot do best, isn't it?"

She laughed in reply, "Says the human who's gripping the knife! I'm not interested in your friend...rather, concerned. I don't feel like going into detail, but please- don't take me as an enemy. I'd actually like to help you if you allowed me to. Well, not really help you, but your friend, Althalos. You don't have to trust me, but I'm the only person who can get you inside. So, what will it be?"

The Zorua smiled. If the boy turned her down, she could at least say she tried. Though, she wasn't letting the boy leave. Using telepathy, she sent a clear message into the human's head, "You know you don't have a choice..."

"You don't have to trust me, but I'm the only person who can get you inside. So, what will it be?" The Zorua's ultimatum made sense, but there was no way Ali was going to accept it just like that. He chuckled darkly.

"You honestly believe that I'm stupid enough to trust you on this, do you? What, so you're looking after a human out of the goodness of your heart, yes? Let me guess, that's why you joined a war against us, so you could get us out of sticky situations, isn't it?" Ali's voice, dripping with sarcasm, suddenly grew stern.
"You Zorua aren't exactly known for your honesty, whether in war or not. And after your little trick at Sunyshore, I'm sure as hell not about to jump into a partnership with you."
Ali turned his back, and looked at the building. "Not the enemy," he muttered. "What's next, you want a walkie talkie too?"

He laughed quietly, but his mind worked frantically. Althalos was running out of time, and she could make things easier...

The Zorua was offended by the harsh reply. Her patience gripped on edge. She joined the war because she had nowhere else to go, she had even applied as a spy so she would have to deal with as much violence as the others may have. It wasn't her fault. As the boy continued to talk, she continued to feel worse and worse.

"You Zorua aren't exactly known for your honesty, whether in war or not. And after your little trick at Sunyshore, I'm sure as hell not about to jump into a partnership with you. Not the enemy, what's next, you want a walkie talkie too?"

Her patience blew. Her eyes snapping into a vibrant red, the Sucker Punch smacked the human right off his feet, the anger acting as a tool for even more power. The knife was blown out of his hands, and Lydia kicked it even farther away so he wouldn't get to it. She wasn't certain if he had any more weapons but at least one of them was out of the way.

"Just because I'm a Zorua doesn't mean I fit the d*mned stereotype! Not as if I like killing either! Your men were the ones who attacked in the first place..." her voice was loud and shaken up. She struggled to keep herself quiet. "If you won't be my partner, then..." she sighed, "...I don't want to turn you in or kill you, but its obvious my words can't effect cruel people like you. I'm done playing around, I'm getting Althalos; the one person who actually cared enough to listen to me. And I'll tell him exactly about you."

Walking past the human, she headed for the base, changing shape into an Eevee as she did so. She didn't need the human, did she? It would have helped, but going alone would have to work. A Zorua...she couldn't help what she was born as.

Ali was astounded. The sucker punch had knocked him off his feet, buy the words of the Zorua stung more.

"Cruel? I didn't join this war to kill either, you know. The role of General was pretty much thrust upon me, and I loved my Luxray more than you could imagine! I'm only here because my family need to be protected after my parents were killed - if it were up to me I'd be long gone!" Ali was yelling now, and shaking with emotions which he couldn't decipher.

He breathed deeply and calmed himself. "Althalos is the one person in HR who keeps me from losing myself," Ali muttered quietly. "He reminds me of how unjust this war is, and why I wanted to end the fighting in the first place. I need that kid, God knows I do."

Ali took out his shock gun and lay it on the floor. The tough guy act had diminished completely, and he was now just a boy in a man's war.
"I care. I don't want to kill any of you. I just want my life back."

Eevee Form

Half listening to the human, she kept walking without any show of emotion. Lydia was too enraged to listen. She just wanted to free her friend before her commander killed him. However, she listened as she heard a gun drop on the ground. Turning around, her Eevee ears perked up slightly to listen to the boy.

"I care. I don't want to kill any of you. I just want my life back."

His personality had changed, though Lydia's not as much. Still angry, she talked back to the human while sending images of her and Althalos through Extrasensory. "What happened to that big strong man you were just a few seconds ago?" she growled back. "If someone offers you help you should take it. Now follow me already. I want to see my friend again."

Her voice and expressions had lightened up slightly, though her irritation lingered as she kept walking. Both of them would free Althalos together, but they would have to take their time. They couldn't barge in just as Althalos had.

Wade

(thanks Arcaray. I don't wanna go unconscious again. That's probably the third time)

Wade dashed from tree to tree, his blue rings leaving blue streaks of light as he gained speed. His vision was blurred as he went even faster, but he knew where to go, and as long as he followed his instincts, nothing could go wrong. He started breathing rather heavily however, and his speed slowed down a little after a while. Looking back for the first time, his eyes widened. Ali.

"Da*n he found me." Wade spoke and he turned around, jumping onto the trees so he would have a hard time aiming. His heart was beating faster and faster as he knew Ali was trying to kill, or at least, tranquilize him. When he looked back, Ali was already aiming at him, and Wade froze in terror. Ali pulled the trigger, but before it hit, he made a little ball of energy and the projectile hit the ball instead. The ball then exploded, and the impact pushed Wade away, sending him flying and tumbling onto the floor.

He had some scratches and bruises on him when he landed on the ground, but he had no time to lose. To his surprise, Ali was gone. But Mark and the others may be nearby. Running towards the backdoor of the PR base, he ran inside, unable to notices Lydia with Ali back at the front door. Once he entered, he found the commander Hector inside.

"Commander." Wade saluted, "You have anything for me to do?"

Mark Vargas
Jubilife Outskirts

Ali's electricity and wade's 'Ball' collided and exploded, blasting Mark backwards. Mark scanned the area for wade "Umm, where did he go? ahhh, there you are." Wade ran in the back door of the new PR base. Mark whispered to himself "Not getting away that easy." He loaded his last clip in the pistol and put on the silencer, and slowly opened the door, concealing the pistol. The back hall was empty, mark slipped in. Mark suddenly felt a sting in his chest, the explosion must have reopened the slices from the weavile but mark had to suck it up. He pulled out his radio "Im in the PR base, just a heads up for anyone nearby" he whispered into the walkie talkie. He crept through the halls, hiding when a pokemon came by. He didn't really know where he was going until he ended up in the armory. He went over to the locker, opening it and grabbing a new SMG, silenced of course, and as much spare ammo as he could fit in his Hoodie jacket, including spare pistol rounds and SMG clips. He also grabbed a Tactical vest and put it under his hoodie. Mark crept back into the hall, thinking 'gotta find wade, gonna find wade' and snuck off. Vargas heard a gasp from behind him and turned around to find a squirtle. He pulled out his pistol and took a quick shot to the head, it dropped to the floor. Mark stood up and ran over to the body, picked it up, and stuffed it in a locker. "Sorry little guy, but you would have blown my cover." Mark didn't enjoy killing, but it was needed in war. Often, he thought about before the war, when he didn't have to kill everything, he missed those days, wandering aimlessly, getting to do whatever. Now it was kill, kill, kill and it bothered mark, he felt bad for every thing he killed, he hated killing, and hated himself more and more everyday. He snapped himself out of his thoughts and went back into the hall.

While the ice block slowly melted, Alex thought of something. Jack would go in to extreme shock after melting. That would be bad on the battlefield. Alex threw the wood aside. Alex spotted a grey van. Perfect, Alex thought as he dragged the ice block over to the Van. Alex shot the handle for the back door and the van opened. Alex placed the ice block in the Van and fastened the back door shut. Alex climbed in the front of the Van. No keys, Alex thought as he began hot-wiring the car. His Hot-wiring attempt was successful as the Van's engine started. Alex mounted his M4 on the side mirror and rested it, ready to fire. He kept solid control of the Van as he drove through Jubilife. He noticed a group of Pokemon in front of him, blocking the road. F*ck you you B*stard @$$ Pokemon Alex thought as he began to speed up. Alex drove right into the contingent of Pokemon. Pokemon flew to the left and right of the Van. Alex readied his rifle and began shooting the Pokemon as they flew into the air. Alex spun around to see Pokemon mangled and injured on the road. A Bidoof began crawling towards the Van and Alex drove right over its head. Alex, satisfied at his killing, drove away from the carnage.

Hector Arcturus

Hector was in his office with Khufu, discussing a few things, when the Charmeleon from before entered.

"Commander! He's awake!" Hector nodded, and sent the Charmeleon away.

Just then, Wade entered, saluting, he spoke.

"Commander. You have anything for me to do?" Hector looked over Wade for a moment. He read over Wade's dossier before, and knows his talents, and a bit about his personality. For his plan to go the way he wants, he might need a man like that on his side.

"Actually...yes. Come with me." Hector got up, nodding to Khufu as he left. "General, see to the rest of the MIA's and KIAs while I'm gone."

Hector proceeded down the corridor to where the human was being kept. He motioned for Wade to follow, as he spoke.

"What I'm about to tell you is for your ears only." Hector said, in a near whisper. "Most of the Pokemon think I'm planning for a mere interrogation, but It's more than that. I'll fill you in later."

They reached the human's cell, where he stood. Water was dripping from him. Swampert must have sprayed him. He walked close to the cells, but far enough not to be in range of his human arms, or any other unexpected funny business. It was time for Hector's plan to go into motion.

"Human, do you have a name?" He waited for an answer.

Rumble

Streets

Rumble was levitating slowly in the streets. He looked like an armed ghost of the war, walking among the human bodies. Most of the Pokemon corpses and survivors had been taken into the PR by the Chanseys.
He turned right in the corner, and he saw Lydia and the human he saw before, just 50 meters away, following her.
What the heck is this...?
The Reuniclus stood still againist the wall and gave 2 seconds to his mind, to think of his choises. Kill the human, or keep Lydia's betrayal to himself, in case he needed that information?
He calmed his lust for revenge, somehow.. his rational side started thinking of his possibilities. The second choise was more viable, he thought.

Almost invisible as he was with his camouflage device, he followed them silently, keeping his distance. They were obviously headed to the PR. He turned on the mini radio of his suit, recording every sound from this moment, while wearing his most evil smile.

(Short, I need more posts of them :p)

The arcanine approached Althalos' cell. He was accompanied by Wade and he just watched as they approached the cell.
"Human, do you have a name?" the arcanine asked. Althalos put on a shocked look.
"Naaaaaw!" Althalos said, his voice was sticky with sarcasm. "Because when I was born, my parents just decided to call me 'human' too." Althalos rolled his eyes and leaned against the bars, resting his arms on the horizontal bar that spread from wall to wall. "My name is Althalos Fizen, age 14, spy, sniper and long range pyrotechnics expert. I can't really say 'pleased to make your acquaintance' since you imprisoned me. " He moved back tot he cot and sat down. "It seems you really didn't think about what I said earlier, 'is it better to die on your feet than to live on your knees, or better to live on your feet than die on your knees?' You just sent for my capture." Althalos waved that thought off. "What do you want? I'm not scared of you, but I'm willing to answer questions."

Hector didn't take offense to his sarcasm. He was used to dealing with people like this. But Hector had a different plan in mind with this one. He motioned for everyone else in the room to leave except Wade.

"My name is Althalos Fizen, age 14, spy, sniper and long range pyrotechnics expert. I can't really say 'pleased to make your acquaintance' since you imprisoned me. " He sat down on his cot, and continued. "It seems you really didn't think about what I said earlier, 'is it better to die on your feet than to live on your knees, or better to live on your feet than die on your knees?' You just sent for my capture. What do you want? I'm not scared of you, but I'm willing to answer questions."

Hector shook his head. He was a typical human to him, but his appearance wasn't much concern to him. What was a concern was what he believed he could discovered from him.

"Does it surprise you? What makes you think for a moment that I would listen to a random human child who enters the base and speaks to me like such, and then leaves? What's more, you think you, a boy of such young age who has not likely seen what true terror, what true torture is, and expect to lecture me? You're lucky I didn't decide to kill you on the spot, for your arrogance. But I was willing to wonder why a single human boy would enter this place, full of the enemy only to ask a question, a question that not only has no coherence to the current situation but also seems a bit inappropriate for all the effort. Quite frankly, Althalos, I'm insulted. I expected you to at least attempt an assassination attempt on me, for all the effort you put in."

Hector paced across the cell as he spoke, he turned back to him, and looked into his eyes.

"Ah, but I'm getting ahead of myself, and I apologize. I am here on a different matter. I want you to help me. I won't interrogate you. I just want to make you an offer. I have many spies, good ones, great ones, in fact. But the purpose of a true spy is not just to try to make yourself hidden, but to blend in, and in doing so, disappear. Of course, no Pokemon can do such a thing, not among you humans. But a human, a human can do such a thing, and never be caught. No one would expect a human to be working for Pokemon."

Hector checked to see his reaction. He continued speaking.

"Hear me out before you make you decision. I want you to spy for us, to feed us information, from inside the base. Tell us their plans, their outlets, their strong points weak points. You're not going to be a traitor, you're going to be saving many of your humans instead."

Hector turned away, pacing again.

"Have you seen the last battle. Both sides lost so many in the conflict, something I think neither of us wish for. It was utter chaos out there. We can do so much better, and we will, if you help us. We can end every battle with as little casualties as possible. We'll know where to hit, and we can make everything clean. You will be saving dozens, hundreds of human lives! As will I be saving many of my kind. Of course, you will be compensated for your effort, both during and after the war. This is something you should think over carefully. You can save so many lives. We can save so many lives."

Hector looked at Wade for a second, then back at Althalos, waiting for him to absorb this info. Hector hoped this human was the kind of person he was looking for. No matter what the outcome of the war would be, both Hector, and Hector assumed Althalos, based on his earlier reactions, wanted to end this with as little bloodshed as possible.
