Ohhh... maybe she grown up?? idk, i forgot the episodes, it's been so long :/

I did think that was different. o_o ...but then how did Sinnoh League happened with the way it happened. producers, why, you makin' me cry.

anime logic.

The usual debate? xD ALRIGHTY. Legendaries... Legendaries... best and worst? Anime and manga Legendaries? I dunno how to do this, lol.

12

The best legendary, in my opinion, is Cresselia. Well, perhaps not the best, but she is my favorite ^^; Jirachi is a close second, for being adorable and fun as heck to use in competitives.

Worst legendaries? Zygarde comes to mind, but he's probably going to be improved after the Zygarde movie comes out. Still though, I'm not sure what they were thinking making his signature move a weaker version of Earthquake -_-

Well my favorite legendary is Meloetta because its so cute and i love its other form as well ^^ plus fighting and psychic who doesnt love that combo? Besides Meloetta id go with Victini its adorable and powerful!

Worst hmm um id say i a tie between Zygarde and Regigigas we know hardly anything about Zygarde its easily defeated and its sprite is kinda boring on the other hand Regigigas is pretty terrible with slow start easily being defeated by any fighting type and overall not having much of a storyline to support him and honestly his sprite is kinda ugly haha.

WAIT THERES A ZYGARDE MOVIE? WHY WASNT I INFORMED OF THIS??? Wow im behind xD

13.watch yourself ninja14.

*violently throws open door* DID I HEAR SOMEONE SAY POKEMON MANGA?

Anyways. Best legendary is hands down Shaymin. Shaymin is my favorte Pokemon anyways so it has to win. XD What? There's no shaymin having a legendary be your fave! Besides him, I guess I happent o like the other Mythical legendaries best, but counting the big guys I really like Latias and Pokemon Heroes killed me. ;_;

Worst legendaries.... I normally wouldn't have an answer for that but if you've played Pokemon randomized Emerald and found a Regi on Route 101 you'd understand........

But at the same time, if he won every League then people would complain about him being so mary sue(I can't bring myself to call him gary stu XD) and then he'd still look kinda bad. Maybe if they needed character development for another permanent character then they could win some, ie Ash wins Kanto and Johto, then loses Hoenn's League to May(if she had been a battler of course) and she stays with him. It always seemed pointless to me to have the characters stay for only a little while then leave then come back for like 3 episodes in the next region. Like, why would you have us get attached to characters that we saw go through personal development if only one will be seen later anyways? It just rubbed me the wrong way....

Watch out for some terribly old quoted posts.

What's your favorite Pokeball?

I'm sticking with the classic red-and-white Pokéball. It's the only Pokéball I'm ever using, aside from Ultraballs for legendary Pokémon and an occasional Masterball. The design is simple and gives me a nostalgic feeling (and I'm to stingy to spend more money if it's not needed).

What about you guys, do you have a favorite shiny?

Shinys you hate?
Shiny Wingull, Shiny Pelliper, Shiny Zubat, Spinda, Dewgong are all pretty bad mostly cause of the green on wingull and zubat. BUT Shiny Espeon is awesome no matter what people think :D

Yeah, I agree on those. That hue of green is disgusting.
My least favorites are those that don't change as much. Garchomp is the master here, but there's others as well, like Joltik. Here's the shiny:

I don't think I've ever even used Magnezone in any of my playthroughs. Never been a fan of three magnets glued to each other that evolve into a UFO, I guess.

Magnezone feels like people wanted to make its steel type part more clear. I'm not really a fan of it either, my favorite in the line is Magnemite. It's so cute! Beep!

Whoa, it seems I've missed quite a lot over the past few days! But anyway, does anyone here watch the Pokémon movies? If so, how do you think of them?

You haven't missed as much as I did, haha.
But yeah, I have watched the Pokémon movies, or at least most of them up to Arceus and the jewel of life. I do like the concept, but the story lines feel like they're globally the same, which makes them a little boring. My favorites are Lugia's and Celebi's.

Also we had trainers with legendary pokémon in the Battle Frontier, so nothing new here. Hell, the first Frontier Brain Ash fights had an Articuno so yeah.

Not really weird, legendary Pokémon were very common in later rounds of the Battle Frontier in the games. While I wasn't using them myself, I felt a bit underpowered. In the Battle Factory, my favorite facility, on the other hand, I was regularly sweeping my opponents with Registeel, Latias and Latios.

I don't see a problem with losing. If a victory would be certain each time, there's not much of a point in watching the League episodes. The battles would be boring if you already know that nearing loss will be turned to a win in the end.

Ash losing the Kanto League was pretty lame/anti-climactic though, you've got to admit. The Indigo Plateau was built up to be the epic final destination of his journey, and Ash loses because Charizard trolled him. Losing every once in a while is okay, but that particular instance was just bad writing -_-

20.

Ash could win the pokémon league and still go on to other regions, it's just that the writers insist on making him lose every time.

Well, it's true that he can still go to other regions after winning a league, but the Pokémon anime is known for its simplistic writing. A trainer will always have room for improvement, and even if that still holds true after you win a league, it's inevitably easier for the writers to convey that message through having Ash lose. I don't think that's necessarily a bad thing anyway, because it honestly makes sense that there will always be much better people out there (in any game or sport) who you haven't even met before. :)

That was legit the first thing I saw in your post, and I had no clue it was shiny, ahaha.

But yeah, I have watched the Pokémon movies, or at least most of them up to Arceus and the jewel of life. I do like the concept, but the story lines feel like they're globally the same, which makes them a little boring. My favorites are Lugia's and Celebi's.

Some of them are different though, such as Destiny Deoxys (which was about a machine apocalypse XD) and Lucario and the Mystery of Mew. In fact, I consider the Lucario movie the most well-written one, so I'd definitely recommend checking it out! You won't regret it! :D

Guess I'm simple liking them all. xD I'm not really much of a criticism. :/ So I have no problems with the movies. xD (Except the ones I haven't watched, I don't know if I either like them or not.)

22.

Haha, I really like all of the movies as well, but I always like taking note of both the strong points and the weak points of anything I watch in case I ever end up writing about them. xD

23

That's true... I'm not good at it because I'm usually bias and I like almost everything. xD I guess I'm still a kid in a sense. :P What hooked me to Pokemon the most was the First Movie. MEWTWOOOO

25

Is it? D: It's one of my nostalgia favorite and its sequel. My heart's too sensitive, I'm easily moved! I still cry. ;v;

26
Hmm i got most of them on videotape or on my PC but i didnt find it that scary alittle dramatic and sad at times but not scary.
Btw was the Diance Movie good? For anyone thats seen it? It seems to be good atleast the trailer does but im hoping its not that different from the trailer as most usually are. Btw @Han are you talking about Mewtwo Returns or the first Movie?

27

I haven't watched the Diance, in fact, I haven't watch movies starting Unova. I don't know if I can start watching because time's very short. Is it good? I do hear Yveltal is there so I might watch.... dang it, time!

28.

I have Mewtwo's movie on videotape. I haven't watched it as much as the other videos, because I found it a bit scary. The second movie appealed a lot more to me.

I know how you feel, aha. When I was younger, the first Mewtwo movie always kinda scared me (but not anymore though). xD

And yesss I still have it on VHS as well, but I have no clue where the tape is at the moment. :(

Btw was the Diance Movie good? For anyone thats seen it? It seems to be good atleast the trailer does but im hoping its not that different from the trailer as most usually are.

I've seen it! While I did enjoy watching it, I sadly can't say that it was actually any good (sharing the same fate as both the Kyurem and the Genesect movies). I felt that it was too noticeably rushed, and it didn't have much of a captivating plot nor an engaging soundtrack. It's a little depressing, because the trailer made it look really impressive. :(

On the bright side, it was pretty fun seeing the group's interaction with Diancie, and the ending was pretty heartwarming!

I really hope (and am almost confident) that the Hoopa movie will be a nice surprise, as it already seems to be taking on an interesting dynamic. Only time will tell, but I can't wait to see it! :D
