I mean yeah seriously, as much as I love the BUS in video games, Pokemon for me should always be treated as the nice and kid friendly experience that it has always been. I means sure deaths and killings are part of the Pokemon Manga, but even then those are still very rare occurrences.

Yeah, I had no idea about the contrast from that manga and the anime. Luckily, it can all be summed up in this one picture.

The funny thing is that Satoshi Tajiri, Pokemon's very creator, himself was actually quite the endorser of Pokemon Adventures, calling it the most faithful representation of his creation.

I mean, its how Pokemon was established as a game. It could have been a much different story if Nintendo didn't handle Pokemon in the first place. Something like Squaresoft (remember kiddies, SQUARESOFT -> They were EDGE (when being Edgy was cool) ) could have handled Pokemon and we may have had a darker and more serious franchise that dealt with many emotional, spiritual, smexual, and world gravitational issues, and Satoshi Tajiri be like "Oh yeah, that's how its done! HUHURHURHURHURHURHUHRURHUR"

And then there's the Super dark (compared to the actual anime) novelizations that explain a whole lot about the Pokemon world and its people. I've read info about these.

and then Hideo Kojima came when he heard about me talking about what if Pokemon was not handled by Nintendo and he be like "Young man, I must have this franchise!"

Guys, should I just suck it up and get the Shiny Charm? I know all of the statistics, but I really don't feel like catching 700 Pokémon. ;-;

That's what it's there for! Screw shiny hunting...it's an exercise in potentially wasted patience.
Honestly, I've never minded grinding in a game as long as I get something out of it. When you're grinding based off probabilities, though...nope. Window -------------> My patience.

...this is weird coming from me, who can spend a whole day in the Item World in Disgaea. But I do have something to show for my efforts by the end. If you don't get what you want at the end of it...time wasted D:

It probably is suffering, everyone who doesnt want spoilers wont be there and anyone who talks there is probably waiting for new info at gamefreak's doorstep.... But I will talk about Popplio and Iwanko all day cuties

It's verrrry difficult to sustain excitement over sparse information for almost an entire year, even for the most avid of fans. For those of us who have seen and heard it all before...even more so.
