Weirdest/Worst things you've ever seen in your life.

I traveled to Queens, NY when I was about 6 or 7 to visit the fam. Me being from Virginia, I wasn't used to NY life so everything was new to me. The trip was mostly good, but one day I went to a family friend's apartment. Roaches. Roaches everywhere in there g. I swear on my grandmother's life. Big ass roaches too... I'd never seen so many insects in there in my entire life. And they just acted like it was normal.. I said "There's too many roaches in here" and waited outside till my aunt left. Never went there again!

Some kid came to my school one day and did that to himself. I wasn't there, but everyone heard the gunshot. Crazy that the fact a kid got a gun into the school so easily makes me feel scared for the kids man...

as someone who lives in nyc (luckily in an area where there are almost no roaches haha) I've seen some very weird stuff, especially on the subway. one being people bringing wooden tables into the subway car and eating pizza on them during the ride as if they were at a restaurant. also people trying to transport giant metallic poles that could barely fit??

I agree with @The Roniverse. Watching a family member pass away in the hospital is absolutely the worst.

My step father had a seizure at the beginning of the month, I'll never forget how he looked. Than the next day the hospital had him on life support. I'll never forget seeing him like that. He made a full recovery but the neglect he suffered in the hospital has me angry beyond words during it all.

i have seen two of my grandparents pass away. my grandfather was in his home, i lived with him at the time. my mom had been trying to get me to come to her house for lunch all day, but i had this feeling in my gut that i needed to stay. the rest of my family showed up too. it was kind of weird in that we all knew that that was the day. he used to put out food for the foxes and even they showed up and just sat in the yard...it was surreal. then my grandmother got strep A very suddenly. she already was dealing with cancer, but the doctor said even without cancer, it's not a high recovery chance when you get strep A. she was in the hospital for a week before she passed and i went every day after school. i was holding her hand. and i didn't allow myself to cry or waver bc my mom and aunt were there and someone needed to be the glue, but i lost it when i got home. it isn't pleasant to experience, but at the same time, if they felt peace knowing i was there (if they were aware), then i would do it for everyone in my family when that time comes.

when i was going to award mathmatation of month i was on leave and my award was given to my worst enemy in academics i still cry for that...............................................................................................

Uhh, I don't want to make this too dark but I kinda have a lot? I'm gonna spoiler it.

I've witnessed severe overdoses and had to help resuscitate my friends until EMT arrived. I saw the car my best friend shot himself in. Watch my mother kill herself with alcohol. I watched my last living grandmother aspirate food, forced to be ventilated, and eventually die due to respiratory failure while screaming for her mama (and then attended her 'social distance' funeral). I watched my friend set himself on fire and be airlifted to a child's burn unit - I then visited said burn unit and saw my friend's horrid condition. Watched and participated in robbing a local pharmacy. I didn't intervene in a case of domestic abuse because the dude was my dealer. I watched my husband have a knife held to his throat by the aforementioned abusive guy. A shit tone of police brutality towards my gay friend that I was too afraid to stop. Was helpless in preventing a sexual assault of a girl because I was too high, only to have him turn his attention to me. Drunk driving car accidents that left cars over turned and my friends mutilated. Found out I'm related to an alleged serial elder murderer. And as of now I'm currently watching dementia take the minds of two elderly women I've come to love dearly.

..I don't want to continue. I'm a terrible human being. :(

I've seen a couple of family members die, but nothing scares me more than being in a car accident and then seeing your arm is broken and observing one part move while the other is stationary.
