Since 00:01 today I have been playing Elden Ring. I played it for 3 hours, had to sleep cause it was 3am, woke up at 10 and played some more until I had to run errands, got home and played some more and then went out for a bit and now I'm back home it's 10:36 PM and I'm about to play some MORE Elden Ring after playing a bit of Cuphead :3

JEALOUS!! Though funny that you'd mention Cuphead, I was just watching clips of the show last night, haha.
 
Started Horizon Forbidden West last week. Been taking it slow, so far it's just been exploring the map and fighting machines with the occasional plot progression. Met some likely antagonists and picked up a new ally yesterday so I'm guessing the midgame is close.
P.S. Clawstriders are my new favourite machines, can't wait to unlock its override so I can use one as a mount lol

Elden Ring is amazing! If you're a Soulsborne fan you're going to love it. I moved my PS4 into my room so I can play it from bed all night tonight :3 and omg how good is Cuphead haha, I may stream an expert/hard mode run next week!

I'm definitely getting it this week. I was going to hold out but I ADORE FromSoftware. If you enjoy those types of games I highly recommend the Monster Hunter series too! :) Who doesn't love some hitbox porn? lmao

It's adorable! I love the 1920/30s rubber-hose style animation. It's very faithful to the game in that way!

This is another game that I'm just waiting for a sign to get. Zero Dawn was incredible and Forbidden West looks like it's just as much fun if not more. Again, these Monster Hunter style games are so much fun and soooo satisfying!!

Finished Horizon Forbidden West! Had a couple of minor bugs but overall a great sequel. My only gripes were that the swimming and flying controls are so tanky, and as cool as they are, Clawstriders are incredibly slow mounts. Chargers and even Bristlebacks are faster so I don't really see the need to override them aside from the coolness factor. Took me about 77 hours with a lot of sidequests and I've barely even done most of the activities.

How is it? It's one of this month's PS+ games and I'm very curious about it.
 
In case you couldn't tell already... I finally completed Xenoblade Chronicles 2 and it's DLC a few days ago. Honestly... I can't give this game justice. I can't. I really can't. It was just SO GOD DAMN GOOD. It really was. It's unreal how AMAZING this game truly was. Every time I thought the game couldn't become more AMAZING... it just did. It was just so freaking good from start to end and I loved it for that. I am SO glad I heard about this franchise now and decided to buy the games and play them. I really am. I'm pretty much a fan of this franchise for life or for as long as it's alive I suppose. For some reason... I didn't really like the DLC. I think I might know why... but... it involves spoilers. So... yeah. My personal scores for this game would probably be 10/10 Main Game and 7/10 DLC.

I also started my next game in my backlog. Another Switch game. If you can't tell from the image in my signature trophy card... it's Octopath Traveler. Honestly... I'm really concerned about this game. Probably difficulty wise mostly. However... I just keep getting a bad feeling about this game for some reason. Oh well. I'm going to at least try. We'll see what happens from there. All I can say so far... is that I'm doing far better than when I played the demo. However... I got a Game Over already during Ophellia's first boss. Which I feel like is a bad sign. Well again... we'll just have to wait and see. Wish me luck I guess... I might need it. 😞
 
For anyone that cares... I'm also now playing Chocobo GP as an official 'side game' so to speak. Yes I realize it's been getting a lot of negative flak lately. But I'm having a super fun time playing it so I don't really care. The Story Mode/Story is nonsensical sure but it's also hilarious 😛

Also I don't plan on putting any money into the game other than what I used to buy it. Even if that means no Cloud and Squall for me. I'll deal with the free characters and maybe some shop characters if I ever get enough tickets to obtain them. So I don't really see an issue here. For me at least.

If anyone has this same mentality... I'm willing to play with others. Just find a way to contact me so something can be set up.
 
Still playing Genshin Impact & Duel Links, been a bit too burnt out on Master Duel & Legends Arceus tho, hopefully I'll get back to them after an extended break.

I've also been emulating and enjoying some older SNES games too such as King of Monsters 1 & 2. I love the pixel art and premise of the game but atm I still suck and can't get very far lmao, makes me wish we had more modern Kaiju games, particularly one with a similar premise but AAA budget and with beautiful modern graphics!
