"i feel like dying" ~ Teen Suicide

listening to their first album, it's far less polished than the other one, and as a result it feels kinda scattershot, but it's still at least okay.

"On a White Lake, Near a Green Mountain" ~ M83

I had written this album off as a bunch of nothing, but it's very much exceeding my expectations now that I'm revisiting it. I love a lot of M83's stuff so I figured why not try it again.

Black Skinhead - Kanye West
Album: Yeezus

and what. I actually love this album despite all the flak it gets for being... well, awful. It's probably just the attitude and because it's funny as hell that get me going.

Calvin Harris - Summer

A good song to end the first day of summer. (being ironic is cool kids)

I actually just turned on something real nice and tacky;

The Way/ Fastball

Luna by Bombay Bicycle Club.

Besides having one of the greatest names ever, BBC is a really talented band.

Thousand Foot Krutch - Down

I don't want to maintain, insane, get it up
You always play the blame game, no shame, had enough
I don't wanna maintain, insane, get it up
You always play the blame game, no shame, had enough

[VERSE 1]
Fresher,
Like it's the 1st semester
Rock it like Queen when I'm under pressure
While the rest of these cats, all siesta
Get loose like change when its on your dresser
BOOM
Here comes the real volume
Had enough to wake up and shake this tomb
I can act like skate decks in concrete rooms
We're about to face what makes this move

[Pre-Chorus]
People used to tell me that I'm on my own
They said I'd never make a difference on this microphone
'Cause there's a million other people who can sing this song
I said "Well, thanks for the push" 'cause you all were wrong

Let's Go

[Chorus]
You wanna try to take me under
I'll never bow till I'm six feet under
Listen to the sound of rolling thunder
You can't break me
You'll never take me down

I really like the vocals in this song, the rapping is pretty catchy. But what keeps coming back are those two lines at the end of the chorus, it's a nice hook.

Austin Mahone - Mmm Yeah (feat. Pitbull)

Given the presence of Pitbull here, I'm kinda worried he'll become R&B like Justin Bieber did.

He actually does copy Justin quite a lot, but, Austin doesn't insult Justin when he copies, him, it actually looks as if he is inspired by Justin.

Be Prepared - The Lion King

"Buckingham Rabbit" ~ Silver Jews

just learned that this was Stephen Malkmus's other project yesterday as I was downloading the album; it definitely, definitely sounds like it. it's folksier than Pavement, but it's still great.
