What company provides your internet service?
Mediacom

There are many that provide it, but what you prefer?
Well, it's either Mediacom, Verizon DSL (EXTREMELY unreliable in this area) or dial-up here. Yay oligopolies

Do you like your internet service?
It's better than the alternatives, although my speeds can vary from 0.2mb/s to 12mb/s sometimes (I'm paying for a 12mb/s connection -___-).

Uhh, no. Wire =/= Dialup. There's phone-line (dialup/DSL), Cable, Satellite, Wi-Fi, and GPRS/3G/4G (cell phone signal).

I'm using a Cable connection, and I've got a wi-fi router as well.

There are many that provide it, but what you prefer? None.

The more you talk to them the more yo hate them. Also when upgrading our internet service, they came over took out our lights, our phone line, and just about eerything else that had to do with electricity. They then proceeded to come back, fix the power (they had "accidentally" cut several wires), and leave the internet broken with us paying more. We're gonna quit as soon as the contract expires.

As I said, I've had no problems so far. It's a bit slow on occassion, but overall it works fine.

...Probably it's some minor city in the crowded Ruhr area, the sheer amount of cities over there (at least compared to the backward, rural, former border region where I live) makes it impossible to memorize them all.

Virgin Media provides my service, on a broadband package that offers up to 10 MB in speed. I rather like VM, been a customer with them since NTL and they've certainly been giving me value for my money every month. Both my laptop and desktop are wireless.
