What do you want to be? An astronomer? A chef? A game programmer? A doctor? Maybe you want to work at McDonalds. Tell me what you want to do, and why? As for me i want to mainly be a web designer/software engineer. I've loved computers for a long time, and i want to work with them because i'm a geek.

I want to be a Pokemon Master. =D

Seriously though, I'd like video game design, as I've played the things for nearly my whole life now. I am currently studying Aerospace Engineering, so I'd love to get a job in the space program further on down the road. If that doesn't happen, I could see myself as being a math teacher.

And I don't think I'll ever give up writing. I would like to do it for money someday down the road. ^_^

I'm gonna do what I do now only I'll do it better then. I'm talking about Game Development. Not just programming, I'm gonna learn how to do it all, graphics programming, level design etc. I am practicing now by taking on some of the seemingly unobtainable goals, such as a pokemon starter kit. I'm even starting work on an RPG Engine for a calculator, a calculator! :) Next year I'm taking a computer programming class, and i plan on getting a PhD in Computer Sciences. I'm even taking these next couple of years to get classes like english out of the way for college by taking AP classes. If things continue on the same route they are now, you'll be hearing my name alot more often.

Coincidentally, I want(ed) to be a professional astronomer. I'm starting to have doubts that I will become one, though.

For now, I'm not entirely certain. It might be in physics but if not in that, then chemistry instead.

Well, actually, i want to be a psychologist :)
I know i am going that way

Whatever it is, it's going to be something to do with software. Probably web design.

Who knows, I might say "heck with that" and become something weird, like an entomologist or a chemical engineer or a mathematician or a graphic designer. Beats me. O_o

I've always had the dream to become a Medical Doctor, and I still do

    :t354:~*!~*Queen Boo~*!*~
    That's a scary thought.

Hmm, since I'm pretty "grown up" already, I'll answer this like I'm ten years old again.

I want to be a professional footballer (soccer player to you weird non-Europeans) It's been my dream for as long as I can remember. And if that fails, game design/programming.

I am studying Environmental Engineering. I will be working to clean up the environment.

Honestly, I don't care though. It makes no difference to me how clean the environment is.

It's just another job. What do I care how to help out with some chemical equations?

The ability to create livable conditions for human beings........ ... I suppose there's some value to it, but that value ain't personal yet. Ah, I am certainly lacking the depth to understand.

But if I leave engineering, what am I to do? I have no clue ;D. Actually, there is something I want to do. I want to learn Japanese, then proceed to go design super sexy dolls and virtual girls in Japan in order to stir up jealous and hate in the world. How I major in that, I have no idea yet. I have no big ideas that are of a positive nature.

It's my idea of bringing value to the world. I just have no idea how I can bring it about yet. So right now, I will continue my Engineering career, despite not caring for it.

Ok, now ummm. That virtual girl part was really strange. I mean, my occupation is a hitman but it's not that strange. @_@ Maybe you should stick with the environment, we do need someone to end global warming.

I want to be a professional ballerina when I grow up. I take ballet and pointe classes; I hope to get into a dance high school or college. If I can't be a ballerina, I'd still like to be some sort of dancer. Probably on Broadway or something along those lines.

Some people do not appreciate dancing or ballet. But it is beautiful to me and I absolutely love it <3

I want to be a veterinarian technician when I am older. I have always wanted a job around animals, so I can't really see myself in the future without one. There really isn't anything else I'm interested in. ;s

How more grown-up can I be at 20 years of age? o.O

I'm studying for an English degree so that I can become a professional book/magazine editor. I just want to sit in an office all day reading manuscripts and deciding if they are good or not to be published.

Barring that, I would be a copywriter, making money by trying to sell things to people that they don't need.

Or, if I really wanted to continue my education, I would go back to college to get an Egyptology degree and then write historical fiction.

The last two seem more likely than the first one. I'm leaning more towards becoming a copywriter though. Whatever I do, it will indeed involve the loverly English degree.

Again, I honestly think that you HAVE to decide once you're in university =/ As harsh as that sounds, I really think it's necessary... or else, you really do waste a lot of time in university, since there's usually no way of turning back except a fresh restart for many university course selections without some careful planning.

Trying to be a math teacher for high school, with a minor degree of physical science. Not that I like physical science at all, but I hate all three sciences... I have to minor either biology or chemistry+physics, and I think that physical sciences are actually two different subjects, which means that I will be more flexible. It'll earn me a job easier than just math and biology.

    Teacher it is!

    To be honest, I don't know, which is a BIG problem for me right now, as I'm attending college in August... XD;;
Right now, I'm in 'General Studies', but I hope to get out of that as soon as I have an idea of what I want to do.

I might want to look into something with computers, as I do like them and there's probably tons of jobs out there. However, I'm not quite sure yet. o_o

First of all I WILL become the greatist metal guitarist known to man. This is my most desired thing that i wish to claim most of all then anything else in my whole life. The feeling of stepping out of a tour bus with people hailing your band name. Appearing in magazines isnpiring our next generations youth to play guitar. For me to do that i would chop a toe off hoestly i would. Everyone says that if i try hard i can achieve my dream. But all these famous guitarists started at a young age like 8 or 9 and i started at 11 so sometimes i make myself work extra hard. Honestly its what i really really want to do. Its so hard to drescribe to you all just how much i really want this...

Hmm well I haven't really made my mind up yet but maybe when I'm older, I hope to be involved in the Physical/ Product designing for a big company. Or working with animals <3

When I grow up I'll probably be homeless or in a mental home. But if I try really hard, I'd like to be a concept artist. Just draw creatively, for works of fiction. Always sounded fun... Or maybe have my own comic book or manga.

Uhh.. I'm not so sure yet. But I do know that I'll study japanology after I finish high school. And I will also (prolly) study history. But I will become afterwards.. I don't know. I want to translate japanese mangas and animes but before I achieve that I'll prolly have to be a teacher for some times, coz it's hard to find a job like that here in Slovenia. So I'll prolly do something with history, like said teaching, temporarily, and then it's off to do anime stuff xP (thank god for the bologne degree!). Maybe one day I'll get to draw my own japanese manga and if it's good I'll translate it into english, slovene and many other languages BWAHAHAHA!
