What if you could change your personality?

A couple of nerdy dudes were talking on the bus when I first heard of it. What if there was a way to change your personality, like forever? And change as many times as you would want? Don't worry, you'll retain your memories.

Okay, personally I would want the kind of people who do this kind of science to be locked up for a long time, doing something like this is on the verge of hypnotism. And not to mention what sort of side effects it might have to the person who did this, our brains are great and all but we're not exactly sure how much strain we can put on it and then say that's enough.

So yeah, I wouldn't do it. I for one love my personality, and my individuality. Why fix what's not broken?

    I wouldn't change a thing.
I am who I am and if people don't like that, then I don't care.

I might be strong minded at times, but hey, that is my personality.

I could change my personality to be less reclusive and more outgoing and social. Socialization isn't my strong point.

I'd be way too afraid to change it, even if it could make me a better person... because what if it wouldn't? ._.; Maybe I'd just get worse in different respects. Or maybe everyone wouldn't like me as much, either due to my new personality or due to the fact that I changed it... just too many risks for me, I guess.

Um, I'd like to remove my laid-back personality. I want to be more determine to achieve this goal instead of going 'the heck with it' every time. I know it's just a mindset type of thing but still...

Im more the type of person who likes to kick back and doesn't care about much.I love how i am and would not change it for anything in the world.

The only thing I would change about my personality would be my social skills. They're not the worst, but could use improvement.

I can't imagine myself being any other way. I wish I had a little more confidence though, but that's about it. I'll always be the "shy but very loud and hilarious when you break the shell" kinda guy. :D

Despite having many things about my self that I ultimately do regret, I wouldn't change much. I might bump up my confidence a bit more, and bump my shyness down a notch, but overall, there isn't anything else that I'd give up about myself, good or bad!

I would like to be a bit meaner (im too nice), but other than that - wouldn't change a thing.

    I'd change it so I wasn't so lazy.. I have things I wanna go for, but most of the time I just go "Eh, I'll do it later..", and then nothing gets done. > >;

confidence, social skills, niceness, less stubbon, less mean, more likable, less jelous, less greedy, less non-social, kindier, more honest, less... well me!... :(

You know, we can all change our personalities - that's the beauty of people. Humans are dynamic beings. If you really want to change your personality, all you have to do is aim to do that.

I like my personality as it is. I may be a little too shy and quiet, but hey ..that's just me. I can't change myself or my personality; either way, they're both influenced by each other.
However, sometimes I wish I were different, based on my reactions to my surroundings and various situations. So, ummm ..maybe temporarily. :/

In real life? Well... my confidence and social skills. They're okay, but it'd be better to improve them.
