    As the title states, what Instant Messangers do you use, and/or which clients do you run them with.

    I use:
    AIM
    Yahoo
    MSN
    Skype
    ICQ
    XMPP
    Google Talk
    Facebook

    All in the Pidgin IM Client :P

    ps all the more obscure IM Service options came from what Pidgin can handle.
     
    MSN technically doesn't exist anymore, with the whole rebrand as "Windows Live Messenger" two years ago! Oh, and if you are using MSN/WLM in Pidgin, I suggest using the MsnPecan plugin as it enables Personal Messengers and various other bits the offical plugin hasn't got.

    On topic, I use MSN/WLM and IRC (which you missed off the list!)

    I mostly use MSN. But I recently got Skype, but it isn't in use because I don't have any contacts. ^^; I am mostly on MSN anyway. MSN for the win!

    I used to have AIM, but then one day...it got messed up on me. So I deleted it, and I was on MSN full time.
     
    WLM FTW ;D

    And I use AIM solely to talk to my friend Em 'cause she blatantly refuses to get WLM -_-
     
    I have both Trillian for AIM, YIM, and just have plain old AIM sometimes. x3 Yeah, screen name is undisclosed and for irl use only. ;D
     
    I use Windows Live Messanger, AIM and Skype. Well, I used to use Skype but then my contacts stopped coming online so I sort of abandoned it.
     
    I use:

    Pidgin - Very nice
    Miranda IM - Only took like 17 tries over 3 years to get working. XD Very basic.
    Trillian - Needs that Astra version to get released sooner then later
     
    Holy schmoot. I haven't heard of 98.34% of these.
    edit Fail-book, G-Chat, AiM, MSN.
     
    The one and only messenger for me, Windows Live Messenger. And that's it. XD
     
    Well I primarily use Facebooks chat, AIM, and Windows Live Messenger. The only reason I keep using AIM is because all of my friends from school use that and none of them ever heard of WLM. I like WLM a lot more than AIM as it isn't constantly making noise like AIM is.
     
    ICQ and Skype... QIP as ICQ client. Very surprising to know MSN is a most popular))) I still don't understand how it works and why it need for someone)))
     
    I use:

    Windows Live messenger +

    the "+" means I can chat to people on Yahoo! using WLM

    And i use AIM

    those are the only two i use.

    You can do that anyway; what MSN Plus lets you do is have coloured names and custom statuses, as well as various use commands including "/me", amongst other things.


    That aside, I use WLM. You missed aMSN by the way. :(
     
    Recently, I've been using AIM and MSN (AIM more, though). I've used Yahoo before, but that was wayyy back in middle school. I don't have the program for it on this labtop, so I haven't really used it since.

    I really want to get something like Trillian or Gaim soon though. That way I can use AIM, MSN, and Yahoo again all at the same time. :3

    Bleh, why is MSN loved so much?

    I ONLY got MSN because of POA, so people without AIM could contact me, and I got all the others because Pidgin could do it.

    What makes MSN so much greater then everything else?

    And PLEASSEE don't tell me Video, Voice, and all that, what makes it a better TEXT Messenger.


    Wow...sorry about that, I'm just frustrated on how well MSN is considered, and how AIM is looked on usually negativly, so I'm just curious.
