I got an iPod off my cousin this year. First time I've ever an iPod, and I don't see how I ever lived without it. What I have is an 8GB iPod touch (not sure what gen it is... but it's only a few months old, so..) with the new update (I think 2.0... or whatever it is).
I like the new nano... but I don't think I'd go with anything other then an iPod touch.
 
I've got a 30GB iPod Video. Whenever I get around to borrowing my uncles music collection I'll probably buy and 80GB, as I'd run out of space.
 
Would it be invading this thread to say that my MP3 player is not an iPod?

Creative Zen 4gb here, though in the past I've had an 8gb nano and a 30gb Video. The video was stolen, the nano was just lost. I'm rather careless. As for the zen, I'm not sure I like it. I'll probably either get a music playing phone next, or one of the new nanos.
 
I have the new Chromatic 8 gig. I absolutely love it!
 
none at the minute. I wanted the Nano Chromatic Up until i toyed around with a friends. its just not my style. Hopefully ill get the nano thats small and squarish.
 
I have a newer nano, the one you can put videos on and such. It's great, I don't see the need for the rest of the stuff that I'll probably have on a portable phone/computer thingy in 8 years anyway.

I also have a Macbook which works great and since my dad ordered it through the military for a discount, i didn't get the Touch that came with the deal on Apple this summer. ;_;
 
i have the 32 gig touch the new chromatic an old shuffle and a 32 gig video

i got the 8 gig touch and a wireless printer free with my new mac used my mom's teacher's discount at apple its good for liek 100 off the comp and the printer and ipod

Got a 2GB 1st gen nano that still works fine. So all you people glad with a year old ipod....well :D lol.

However my music alone has filled the 2gigs up, so i was amazed when i seen the new chromatic ipod nano's, was going to get one of them i think untill i did some research and found Cowon D2's.

Even stopped using Itunes a while ago in favour of Winamp. I'm not being anti-apple or anything but i wandered if there was anything different out there and i found these things :P

You can Actually still buy them at Best Buy at the same pricing as the Nanochromatic. If you only need some music and one or 2 videos you can score the 4 GB for $100
 
I have myself an 80GB Silver Classic. (Dang wish I'd gotten the black one.)

What can I say, I like my anime on a screen where I can actually read the subtitles, and until the touch gets at least 50GB, I'll stick with a device that I can keep at least three complete series' on it and all my music without filling up the whole thing. <_<

I wish i cold do that. But all I have is this sucky shuffle.

I have an 80GB black iPod Classic. 8GB is too small for me, the iPod Touch costs more and has less space, so I went with this one. I haven't even filled up half of it yet...
