What Pokemon been on nearby radar but you not got?

at work earlier today, i opened my phone and saw a dragonite on the nearby list. i screamed "oh sh*t, a gradonite nearby!" (yes, i actually said gradonite out of excitement). my co-workers and i started running out but it disappeared as soon as we got outside. =O

Quite a few but the ones that have disappointed the most in not appearing to catch are Rhyhorn, Porygon and Mankey. I still don't have any Fighting-types!

I've seen Muk on my radar two or three times now, but I've still never seen it (or even Grimer) actually pop up.

About 2 weeks ago I saw a Nidoking show up in the radar near work, and I was actually able to track it down, only for the game to give me an error when I tried to click on it. I was a bit salty about it at the time, but I've saved up enough candies to evolve my Nidorino now, so I don't feel as bad.

On the way to work today, a Wigglytuff popped up on my nearby list. Never found it though and I had to abandon it to get to work on time. Must reassess my priorities.

I saw my first Gengar on the nearby map. Unfortunately I was on the interstate so it wasn't near the road, it was probably in one of the towns we passed.

I'm pretty close to evolving Haunter though.

"Sightings" would be vastly improved if it included the compass direction of the sighting. As it is, I can only randomly walk in some direction, quickly! If something disappears off the Sightings, I know I am going in the wrong direction, or it is already gone. But that is about it. Very frustrating! Rarely, I guess right, or else double back fast enough to find it.

"Growlithe NE" would be a fantastic improvement! After all, if you glimpsed some pokemon, wouldn't you know the direction?

It's really a 1 in 8 directions you can go.

Then if you walk far enough and the Pokémon is still on screen then you have another 7 directions to pick.

If you picked wrong and the Pokémon disappears from the nearby it usually doesn't reappear if I turn around. It despawns in 10 minutes or if you walk far enough away from it which isn't hard to do.

At this point the remaining Pokémon I need for the dex I'm hoping to hatch from eggs, of course one egg at a time makes it very slow. I doubt I'll complete the Pokedex.

Anyways I had Dragonair appear on the nearby map again, but it was no where to be seen.

I had Gengar the other night on my nearby list just as I was going inside my building, but it was raining so hard I decided not to search for it.

And I keep seeing Clefairy, but I never seem to find it, even when I'm actively searching for it, like this weekend when we went to a Diglett nest in a park nearby.

I've come to realize that the order of the monsters in the Sightings list has no relation to their distance. I was assuming the first monster was the closest one. But once a Snorlax showed up on the second line, and you would only notice it if you clicked on the Sightings. Fortunately I noticed this and found it quite close to me. It seems to me rare pokemon should always show up on the top line!

I think I've seen 5 Growlithe and 5 Snorlax on my nearby tracker in the last week. But since the is pretty much useless i haven't been to get any to spawn.

Not so long ago I saw Dragonite appear as been nearby but never found it with been on the bus at that time.

Growlithe and Snorlax are up to 10 times each now. Its getting pathetic now. This tracking system is just trash. Pokemon should not appear on it if they are not near you.

Man am I tired of ghost Pokemon.

I'm not talking about ghost type Pokemon.
I had a Blastoise appear on my tracker at least 8 times, I walked from that spot in every direction and everytime it'd disappear from the tracker. In other words I wasted my time looking for a Pokemon that didn't exist.
