what was the scariest moment of your life?

Had severe headaches on one tiny spot in my head, then it progressed to half my face going numb. Thought it was a stroke.

Not sure what it was. But aspirin helped, I guess.

When I was younger, I had some heart problems. One day I was in extreme pain, and had to go to the hospital and get hooked up to these weird machines and stuff. It was really a horrible experience. I thought I was going to die, honestly.

A car crashed in the middle of the night outside my house into a tree in our yard when I was probably about 9 to 11. The guy had swerved to avoid a deer; I don't remember if he was intoxicated or not.

The eerie thing about it though was no one heard the crash. I was the only one woken up and that was to him weakly calling for help. At first I thought it was a crazy guy outside because I didn't hear the "p" and though he was calling hell or hail. So that scared me half to death until I finally registered he was calling for help.

So woke my mom up and she and my dad went outside and saw him and called 911. Apparently not only had the tree fallen onto his truck, but the force of the crash had pushed his engine back into his legs and trapped him. Police were out there for hours cutting him out and he was airlifted to a hospital.

Scary thing was, that the tree could have just as easily fallen into the house, and into my room, and my bed was against that wall, so I could have been seriously injured or killed that night.

There are lots of things that top the cake, but off the top of my head, the only thing I can say is when I was donating blood and I was about to pass the fuck out.

Being chased across running traffic by bullies, only to have them stalk me all the way home

I had an allergic reaction to medication that made muscles spasm uncontrollably and caused my tongue to basically roll back into my throat and obstruct my airway and I couldn't really breath through my nose either. So yeah I nearly suffocated to death but everyone thought I was just having a panic attack at first. It took a while before it became apparent I was actually going to die if I didn't get treatment.

This happened twice (but the second time wasn't as bad. It was only just starting to get really nasty when I arrived at the hospital that time thankfully).

Probably getting hit by a car when I was like 10, it was my fault, but I'm so thankful the driver wasn't going much faster, otherwise I would probably have been in a critical condition or something, thankfully I survived with just a few cuts and bruises.

Bar Brawl.

This happened around 2008-09

Me and my friends were just having fun drinking and talking about anything under the sky until we saw a bunch of dudes fighting. We didn't have any right to be involved since we didn't know anyone from the brawlers but s**t hit the fan when one of the brawlers actually ended up using his concealed knife as a last resort. Unfortunately, someone did get stabbed and the perpetrators ran as soon as things got way out of hand. The stabbed victim, while greatly injuered, was in a treatable condition and was rushed to the nearest hospital. It was still quite scary to think about it. Just a random night with friends in a small time bar, then unfortunately there some random f**ks with no manners, right conducts, and ethics decided that they wanted to send a message or something.

Also, the people who brawled were rival frat members. It wasn't just a bunch of hobos who had too much drink.

The scary part was that the brawl occurred almost next to our side of the area. The brawlers could have easily got anyone in our group compromised and it could have gotten anyone of us hurt for unnecessary reasons.

Probably when I flipped over my handle bars at age nine. The good thing was that my helmet saved my life. I only suffered some minor injuries and a mild concussion. I also lost a tooth, and it was too late for it to connect to the root. :|

Having to spend the night in a hospital after randomly fainting in the kitchen, while not knowing what was wrong with me. Also because syringes, those scary painful things. The atmosphere in a hospital is also really unnerving because it's like... that. {D:}

Around the time I heard first gotten my drivers license I went to the dollar store and this guy in sunglasses was following me thru the aisles and I was like okay maybe I'm just being paranoid and so I rounded corners faster just to see and ended up he WAS following me so I went to the cashier to pay and he stood by the door directly in front of the register and I told the cashier and he bolted

I ended up having an old couple walk me to my car bc I was so afraid he was out there waiting for me
