1st Gen What was your most OMGWTF moment in B/R/Y

When i first found out you can clone pokemon in g/s..i cloned like 20 feraligators with a rare candys and trained my pokemon with rare candys

I did that too and my cousins laughed at me cuz I didn't know how to light the tunnel up...but my moment was when I found Moltres in Victory Road and caught it with a pokeball and all I had was my pikachu with 1 hp in Yellow

As for me, I freaked out when I eventually found Zapdos in the Power Plant in Blue. She'd been my favourite Legendary forever (as there were only five of them back then, not like nowadays ~.~) and I was so psyched that I could now catch her and use her. XD

The pit was one of my OMGWTF moments as well. As well as for zapdos.
Mine was when I asked to get OUT of the Safari and then it asked me for 500 dollarss to get outside (Glitch)
 
My OMGWTF moments was when I was playing Yellow. As i did not knew how to go into L.T Surge's room, i skipped the gym and fought all the way to the E4 and the 3rd map when going to E4... they said... YOU NEED A LIGHTNING BADGE TO PAST THROUGH. I WAS LIKE ****KKKKK. So i when back to L.T surge's gym and tried to go into his room and i could not. So thinking that i need to restart the game, i restarted it D: Then the next week, i went to my cousin's house and i heard that there is no need to do such a thing. so i cried the whole hour.
 
Man i freaked out when i actually did the missingno thing and decided (like a dumbass) to catch it!? i believe when it went to battle it was a high leveled nidoking? yeah it was trippy how my game was effing up like crazy too?!?!!!??! hahaha nothing like old school pokemon games!!
 
When I found Moltres in Red. Oh gosh. I had no idea what that was supposed to be. I was like, "Oh, a lost bird! -cue wild Pokemon music- ...Umm...ummm...OMGWTF MOLTRES" As if the sprite wasn't scary enough. If the name Moltres hadn't been there, I don't know what I would have done. It scared me anyway. It was worse when it dodged all my Ultra Balls. I thought it was Jesus Moltres or something. I had no clue what to do.

Aaaaand MissingNo. made my eyes water. It sounded so creepy. And I was little. I was about to restart Red at that point, so I decided I might as well try the MissingNo. glitch. Not doing that again. I love my Red version too much to even think about trying that again.

My FML moment had to be, as my younger self, when I first encountered Moltres. I didn't know it was a Moltres. I didn't know there was only one Moltres in the game. I thought, "Oh, my Pokes are at almost full strength and I've just encountered this strong Pokemon in a cave... I'ma KO it an' get loadsa exp! No worries, I'll find another!"

Needless to say, there was no other. :(
 
Oh, R/B/Y... I made tons of mistakes.

I was really curious what catching a Ghost would be like, so I went to the Pokemon Tower after I deposited my PokeFlute and used my Master Ball. That didn't work out.

The anime made me think that, if I used a water attack on Onix first, I could then use Pikachu to electrocute it.

The best two moments both involved glitches though. The first time I heard of MissingNo., I wasn't told it was a glitch, so I assumed it was an actual feature of the game. Imagine my horror when I first encountered it: elongated black screen, a HORRIFYING sprite, and a screwy block next to the item that was multiplied. I am embarrassed to say that I had nightmares about MissingNo. in various situations for a long time.

The second glitch moment was when I accidentally used an incorrect special for the Mew glitch. Then I was semi-comfortable with MissingNo. (he still made me uneasy, though), but it didn't dawn on me that there could be other glitch Pokemon. I do the glitch and run into something WAY scarier than MissingNo.: A.

To this day, I have always wanted to research the glitches myself, but I never got the nerve to actually do it. They still scare me :(
 
When I was playing my game and bought a thunder stone. I didn't really read the description and all I thought was 'Oh, maybe this would help Mikey ( my pikachu's name d: )' and I used it. And it turned into a raichu ): I hadn't saved in a while, so I turned it off and I hadn't beat Erica's or Sabrina's gym anymore. But I would have fought them over and over again rather than my little Pikachu being a dumb Raichu d:
 
Ether Blue is the champion or giovanni is the final gym leader.
 
The most awesome mooment I had was in the battle with Lance: I almost pwned every pokemon of him but his Dragonite beat all of my fighters. Alright mad cuz I knew I'd lose, I sent out Bellsprout and took some random attack. Dragonite hasn't owned Bellsprout yet. Next round, Dragonite still hasn't owned it. That went on for like 50+ rounds. Then, I finally managed to beat it!^^ Belsprout reached 15 or more levels and I could revive my whole team for Blue!^^ After that, I was like "OMGWTF why is Lance so stupid?"!^^
 
Pikachu's reaction to Bill made me laugh, which is a cough. I can't laugh.

Aw, what's wrong with Raichu? Haha, I'm kind of the same way: I wish Wartortle>Blastoise, and I refuse to evolve Scyther.

Forgot about that. No, I didn't forget Blue was the champion >_> I forgot how surprised I was when the little... "punk" beat me there.
