What were your original intentions for joining?

Like a lot of people, I joined for ROM Hacking and Trading. I had found out about ROM hacks randomly on the interwebz, and was looking for some help on a hack called Pokemon Omega (I think), and so I discovered PC. I then joined about two months later. I honestly never intended to stay very long, I just wanted to make an awesome hack and have lots of fans, but then I made a lot of friends and learnt loads of stuff.
 
I joined a long time ago to download Shiny Gold. Yep, I'm one of them. Then about 1-2 months later, I came back to start ROM hacking on my own.
 
I think I joined for the... sprites, I think? And mostly because I recognized Chesu's and Logiedan's names on here...
 
I joined because I had recently left another forum after some heated debates with some of the administrators, and I figured that since I had recently gotten back into Pokemon, I should move to a Pokemon community. After finding this site and seeing how friendly it was, I knew it was the right one.
 
I joined to download the hacks here. Pokemon Quartz and Shiny Gold, I think. xDD;;
It's funny, I don't play games on the computer anymore, though. :V

I was pretty impressed by some of the ROM hacks I found over the internet, so I decided to join PC to learn how to make some myself. After a while, I lurked through forums other than Emulation and started posting at other places as well.
 
I saw the hacking stuff long time ago and joined because of that, then i abandoned the forum some time, just to stumble upon the challenge forum, with is where i still hang around the most now.

I came to find a better forum than Serebii, as well as a place to post for some more views for GPX+ and also to post about pokemon B/W which I originally didn't really post outside of.
 
Cheats for Pokemon Ruby.

Just a quick search on Google back in 2005, and I was led to PC multiple times.

Been here on and off ever since.

I would say my original intentions on joining PC was to find another pokemon forum to check out, because I was a little bored with marriland. =(

Also, I wanted a pokemon forum where I can meet a lot of new people, with colorful personalities. :3 I wanted to give the impression that...I was also just a bit crazy too! Well, its not merely an act; its something for fun. :3

I was also interested in a big pokemon forum too. And well -- you can pretty much piece together that PC is a big forum, sooo... 2+2=me joining to you. :3

AND OF COURSE; MY EVIL PLAN TO SPREAD THE JOY OF SCIENCE! ^^ ALTHOUGH SCIENCE ISN'T MADE FOR EVIL, SO REMEMBER GUYS! WEAR YOUR LAB COATS WITH GOOD INTENTIONS. :3
 
I joined to talk to a friend... we were spamming up the comments of a Community Site just talking back and forth. The owner told us if we wanted to talk then to go join Pokemon Community and talk on there. I had no intention to became an active member, I had no intention to post around the forum, I didn't join for Pokemon info, I didn't join to make friends. I just wanted a place where I could talk to that person.
 
i originally joined for the hacks and emulation forum. I had been hacking for a year and a half, ALONE !! :( I needed to work with someone, so i decided to join after i had been lurking around for quite some time !!
 
I wanted shinies, I was kind of a noob, too, and I thought once I got shinies, I would leave. Now I realize that this place is epic :3
