OK, got a bit of a music trail for y'all.

I was sitting in a cinema, all bleary-eyed from watching films all day, when familiar music came on before the film started. I could just make it out as the theme music from The Film programme. When I got home, I Googled it, and found this:

After Wikipedia-ing the song title, I found out it was also covered by Nina Simone, so ended up listening to that version for a few hours:

And that got me started on a general Nina Simone obsession. For the last couple of hours, I've just been listening to her rendition of 'Sinnerman' non-stop. So, so good.

Beyoncé - I Was Here
4
Such an amazing song that will warm your heart up! It even makes me cry sometimes. This is one Beyoncé's impressive songs off of 4.

Lovers End - The Birthday massacre
Violet

oh my god this album. it's one of pretty few i can happily listen to from start to finish without getting bored of it. unfortunately that's something that can't be said for their other three albums, though. =/

Karma Police - Radiohead
OK Computer (1997)

Karma police, arrest this girl. Her Hitler hairdo making me feel ill.

I'm listening to the whole album actually, but I landed here where I got to the thread. Great song, great album. Simple as that. cbf'd getting the video.

Why the hell didn't she win the X Factor? Well, I love her, and this song sounds fantastic, I can't wait for this to be released.

Since it's the weekend before Halloween and I am out of town with nothing to do, I decided to listen to creepy music. Right now it's Lavender Town.

This. Mashy Haddy by Nancy Ajram.

SO IF YOU'RE TOO SCHOOL FOR COOL
AND YOU'RE TREATED LIKE A FOOL
YOU CAN CHOOSE TO LET IT GO
WE CAN ALWAYS WE CAN ALWAYS PARTY ALL NIGHT LONG.

SO RAISE YOUR GLASS IF YOU ARE WRONG IN ALL THE RIGHT WAYS!

I love this song :) I fell in love with it the first time I heard it and I'm still not sick of it yet. I'm a big fan of pink, her work never disappoints me.

Raise Your Glass [Pink] ....You know, in case my lyrics didn't quite help.

I'm currently listening to Princess of China - Coldplay ft, Rihanna from Mylo Xyloto.

At first, I wasn't really convinced with the theme & the beat of the song, but as I listen to it over and over again, you could tell, it's addictive.

So me and a friend were sitting in the bus, and on the radio (I never knew there could be good music on the radio) or from a loud MP3 player this "love isn't always on time" song was playing. We two have been playing lots and lots of GTA San Andreas together in the past, and still do every now and then. Somehow the whole thing let to me having the song as an earworm for the entire day and now finally having found out that it's name is Hold the Line and it's from a band or guy named Toto. Weird I always thought the line that apparently is "hold the line" is "for the life" - and then that line I always misheard happens to be the song title.

We Found Love - Rihanna ft, Calvin Harris

This song is simply basic, but I don't know what really get me addicted to this song.

I totally agree. When I first heard it, I hated the beginning. I got the album though, and idk, I really love the song now. lol Anyway...

Subterranean Homesick Alien - Radiohead
OK Computer (1997)

Up above, aliens hover, making home movies for the folks back home.

If you couldn't tell by my last post or two, I'm really digging this album. lol This is the first song I heard off the album (excluding a cover of No Surprises I heard, though I didn't know it was a cover of a Radiohead song) that got me to get it, so it's one of my favorites off the album, right behind Paranoid Android.

Gucci Gucci - Kreayshawn
