[PokeCommunity.com] Whatever happened to the "form changing" in the version mascots?

Anyone remembered when they revealed this?
    Whatsoever happened to these forms?
They also seemed to have removed them from the official website last I checked?

They take on these forms while doing their signature moves Sunsteel Strike and Moongeist Beam.

It's not actually a legit form, but rather an over-hyped visual effect.

I still feel there's more to it if I can't find them on their site anymore, provided they're still there and I didn't find it close enough.

Again, they don't have all the clouds scattering all over them when using the moves in-game neither, too.

These "forms" are only when they perform their signature moves. They also go into these forms when they take you and Lillie to Ultra Space during the main story.

I think it's kinda unusual when the site hyped it as some sort of form, since well, I thought of them as the forms they take when Solgaleo and Lunala are doing their signature moves, if trailers are anything to go by. Sometimes I wish there's some way that both of them can gain the form permanently if possible, but oh well.

Ah, that's probably why they put emphasis on them. Then that's also probably why they took them off the website 'cause I think they wanted to put less emphasis on UBs once they were introduced to keep the "mystery" around them.

Note also the use of the term "phase", and not "form", which suggests a temporary state.

at least i wish that those were their form in Ultra Space (like Giratina form of course), too bad it didn't happen too lol

I agree 100% that these Phases were overhyped and was pretty bummed when they'd didn't show up in the game... Nintendo really overhyped the games imo

Those forms are actually still on the site, but I agree that it is misleading. I was expecting some sort of alternate form of the legendaries to come with the storyline. I'll be honest, I forgot these even existed when playing through Moon.

Yeah, exactly like Zekrom and Reshiram. (:

I wouldn't want a new form, Mega or whatever fancy name they can come up with, we have too many Pokemon that can alter forms, which is bleh.
