^ The title says it all :3

I guess mine would have to be the
Kanto Battle Frontier, to be it just felt so awsome, it was like Ash didn't really have a nooby team and it was like he didn't just leave all his pokemon behind except Pikachu (Yes he didn't with johto, but to be honest his team was still CRAP!) all his team was nearly fully evolved ect...

So what saga is your favourite?

(I didn't add isshu to the poll because it's only just started and I think people would be stupid to pick it as only two episodes have aired so far~)

I chose indigo. The anime was at it's best in the very beginning. After a few arcs if just got boring and repetitive, and there hasn't been an ounce of character development in the recent seasons.

The Indigo League... it isn't as stupid as the Sinnoh League. So, Indigo is my answer. (And only answer.)

Indigo, Back when the anime was at its finest, and since it's what got me into Pokemon anyways.

Kanto Battle Frontier is my favorite. The Grand Festival was wonderful and I enjoyed seeing Ash battling the Frontier Brains.

I did orange islands but i changed my mind to the indigo league cos it was when he was a n00b :D

For me it's between, Orange Islands, Johto and Kanto Battle Frontier. I'm still yet to decide one out of those.

I really liked the Orange Island gyms and there alternatives to battling. Tracey was a good addition to the show.

People dislike Johto because it apparently has a lot of filler. I disagree, the pacing is perfect in that. People dislike it more due to the fact it wasn't as fast and disordely as Kanto. Once again I really liked all the gym leaders and all the episodes relating to them. Although there are a few of dodgy episodes (there always are) for me it had the most charachter building episodes out of them all, two particularily great examples were the episode where Brock gets ill and the others have to take over his duties and the one where a girl actually falls in love with Brock. Just brilliant episodes.

What more can I say about Kanto Battle Frontier that hasn't been mentioned already? Frontier Brains were great, we saw a wide selection of Ash's Pokemon and powerful pokemon and epic battles.

The Hoenn League and the Kanto Battle Frontier are on even grounds for me.

They were both still 'AG', and they've always remained my favorite.

    Granted, I loved the Indigo league when I was little, but when I re-watch the episodes, I tend to not enjoy them as much these days. If I were to erase any memory of ever seeing the original few seasons when I was younger, and just re-watch them all starting right now.. I can definitely say that I would still enjoy Hoenn the most. I also wouldn't be too impressed by Kanto, I wouldn't imagine. xD;

It's the same for me. I managed to watch the entire Indigo saga three years ago but that was purely due to nostalgia and me getting back into Pokemon slightly.

I tried watching a few episodes this summer and I really struggled with them, eventually I just watched a chosen couple (my favourite ones) and just left the rest out. Once the initial notalgia factor wears of you realise that there are problems with it, the main one obviously being the awful pacing.

As of now, it's DP. But of course, my new favorite is probably going to be BW. Hoenn was also excellent. In fact, Hoenn is actually my nostalgia region, unlike you other old prunes for Kanto and Jotho >__>

I like the Advance and D/P sagas because of May and Dawn. The Battle Frontier was good as well, because Ash got to battle legendary Pokemon.

Johto. HG made me... Slightly attached to it.

If we're allowed to get really specific, I have to say the later episodes of Johto, the ones that make up Master Quest. That's the only saga that I've seen all the episodes of and that I don't mind watching again. I don't get bored and I don't find the writing to be bad. And since Johto is my favorite region, I don't even mind watching the rest of the saga (with the exception of some episodes of Johto League Champions) because it allows me to explore Johto more than just the games.

Plus that was the last season I watched, so...

As I said, I tried to watch the older episodes, even the Orange Islands, but I felt more second-hand embarrassment than any actual joy. While there are a few select episodes I do like where something was different/better about them, the sagas as a whole could have been done just a bit better.

The Hoenn travel saga. Mostly because it had my favorite character set out of them.

I always liked the Indigo league far more than any of the others. Maybe that is because of the concept of Pokemon which first appeared. I liked the originality of that saga. It's not that the others aren't good, they just follow the same pattern of events. Just a few additions like the contests come in. Otherwise, I find the Jhoto League and DP quite monotonous.

The Hoenn Saga was quite good as well. It was good to watch four companions traveling together. The concept of contests first started here, and May was a lot more fun to watch at contests than Dawn. I really liked Max as well, though he doesn't really play a big part in its storyline.

My favorite is D/P so many reasons why, Pearlshipping, this league to me was the best. It had Ash/Pauls rivalry which I found wicked awesome and Ash caught some cool Pokemon, the only thing that dragged it down was Brock other than that. I have a feeling, by the time Best Wishes ends that will top this one.

Haha, had to go with nostalgia and choose the Indigo League. Hoenn was my second favourite though, definitely.

Hoenn. As much as I love, and I mean LOVE, Indigo, we all know it's our favorite because of nostalgia, not because it was actually the "best".

Orange Legue, I loved it! The only thing that really bothered me was the "Orange League Challenge". It was too different. And the lack of Brock.

I'm probably going to get flamed for this, but I didn't really like Johto. Kanto is my nostalgic region and I always felt as if Johto was a cheap Kanto knock-off little too much like Kanto. Richie was my favorite rival and Casey was pure awesome-sauce! And Eusine was Eusine...XD

Hoenn was refreshing and I love the tropics so it was perfect. I really hated May, but I came to like her almost more than Misty (almost, not quite), by the end of Advanced Battle. Max was meh, but I came to love him too. Contests were awesome and I loved Ash's Sceptile.

Battle Frontier brought back gooood memories. I'm biased, though, since I hated the actual Battle Frontier in the games, the anime just didn't do it for me, even if it was Kanto. The new voices were at their worst back then, and that didn't help.

Sinnoh was refreshing too. Dawn didn't do it for me though. Her contests were boring and until I took an interest in Pearlshipping, I really didn't like her. BUT, Sinnoh has some awesome myths. The league was good too.
