    This sounds really dirty, BUT, I mean... okay, when you're using the mouse and not typing, where is your other hand positioned? And I swear, you better not take the dirty route to this question. D< (Note: this only applies when sitting.)

    For me, my hand/arm is pointing upwards above my head... not even resting on the keyboard. XD;

    Either on my right thigh, with my elbow on my left thigh. Or, under my chin. :D

    being the lazy bundle of awesome I am, it's just hanging down cuz it takes little to no effort. Or it's up by the keyboard preparing to alt+tab (in various implications)

    It's usually just resting next to the keyboard or playing with the overhead metal bars that make up my loft. I don't really know what else to do with the lanky thing; it's not good for doing much more than fiddling with things while I lurk.

    What? xDD;

    My right hand is on the mouse and I am resting my head on my hand with my chin in my palm. I look very smarty. : 3

    I got two computers set in different position. When I use the first one, my right hand is positioned on the mouse with the elbow resting on the right handle of the chair, and my left hand is near the keyboard, ready to type, and the left elbow is resting on the left handle of the chair.
    When I use the one in my room which I'm really comfortable using, my right hand is on the mouse, and my left hand is nearer the keyboard, but both are somewhat resting on my lap. It's comfortable.

    Fiddling with the headphone Jack or playing with the Mouse/Keyboard. XD

    Usually my right hand is on the mouse, or at least on the table, unless I'm typing.

    My left hand remains free to do whatever I feel like doing. XD

    My elbow is on my computer desk and my hand is usually right near my head, supporting my head, or twirling my hair. When I first read the thread title, my hand was on my eyebrow. Oh, and when I'm in a post and thinking of what to type, it rests on my left knee, which is up near my chest (feet on chair).

    I control the keyboard and touch pad (laptop, don't have mouse) with my right. I use the left for typing and usually rest it on the table when I'm not typing. If I'm drinking something at the same time I'm on the computer, it's in the left hand.

    Pretty much my left hand is over that thing that allows you to scroll up and down without a mouse (I still need to bug mom about getting me a cordless mouse :X) and my right hand, until ready to type, is in the air with my elbow on my laptop.

    With the desktop I use, my left hand is on the keyboard and my right on the mouse.

    Something like that.

    I have a laptop so my right hand is normally resting on the touchpad and my left hand is either:
    • Keeping warm under my knee
    • Twirling my hair
    • Holding my chin up
    • Playing with my headphones
    Tada~

    I love this question! ^_^

    When on a desktop computer (like right now) I tend to lean forward with my elbow on my left thigh and my fist on my right thigh. But sometimes I rest my chin on my hand with my elbow on the desk. :3

    On a laptop on my bed (most common) I have three different positions:

    1.) Lying sideways.
    2.) Cross-legged.
    3.) Lying across my bed facing the computer.

    With a trackpad, I often rest both hands on the base of the computer; one hand moves the mouse while the other clicks. My fingers switch positions depending on right or left click, though sometimes I just use the left-click finger to right-click quickly. I usually have my left finger resting on the trackpad and my right finger on the left-click button (which is actually on the right since my trackpad is left-handed). :3

    LOLOLOL

    Umm... holding the laptop and keeping it in one place, I suppose..? I'll pay more attention next time. XD

    My right hand is on my mouse at all times and my left hand is usually supporting my chin. It's a somewhat comfortable position, since I don't actually have a proper desk right now.
