The only thing I thought looked better in FRLG than in RSE was the water, but other than that, I prefer RSE's style. Granted, I'm not a big FRLG fan, so take what I say with a grain of salt. lol

Emerald > FireRed LeafGreen > Ruby Sapphire

Weird poll. :| I voted FRLG tho

I like the grass tiles of Pokémon Emerald better, as well as short trees; they seem to have better texture, at least in my eyes. Houses in Emerald version were also rather great; they did stand out a lot. As for rest, those would likely have to be from FireRed and LeafGreen (especially tree tiles, as they're tall, vibrant, and colorful).

Hmm, I really can't decide on this one. I like both overworld designs, though I'm gonna have to go with RSE. At least with RSE, you had a choice to enter and exit in two spots and not just one (like in FRLG). Also, the Pokémon Centers in RSE had a better overall design.

Overall, I think Hoenn also has more variety to their tiles than Kanto.

I voted for RSE, since they do grass, tree, water tiles and even character overworld sprites better than FRLG. Also, I'm not too keen on Kanto given I never got much of an experience with FRLG.

I think R/S/E was a graphical disaster. FireRed is neater and cleaner in terms of tiles. The Mart, PC and buildings in R/S/E look like they were sprited by my dog.

There are a few exceptions, like the RSE grass and maybe the small tree. But that's it really...

I like how FR/LG look more than R/S/E It just seems better imo. They did a better job on the buildings in FR/LF than in R/S/E and also the trees and grass is better o:

Both are great, but something about RSE is always easy on the eyes and feels so open. :)
