Once I beat a Pokemon game, you can pretty much guarantee I'll spend at least four days using the Masuda Method to try to hatch a shiny. I recently found myself a wild shiny though, completely unplanned and unexpected, and I got to thinking. On the one hand, hatching a shiny could be satisfying since you know that massive amount of time and work you've put in has finally paid off; on the other hand some might prefer finding one in the wild, finding it unexpectedly would be a nice surprise plus it's rarer to find one in the wild if you hatch one using the Masuda Method. So I started wondering which one people prefer, so which do you guys feel is more satisfying: Hatching a shiny or finding it in the wild?
