The Sun Moon Website said:Oricorio changes its form by sipping the nectar of certain flowers
Baile, the fire one, is my favorite. By I think that they will be able to change to different styles. Because the Sun and Moon Website says this:
This implies that you'll be able to change it's form on a different islands. Maybe there's a flower in the pokecenters of each island?
W-Why Kanto? Wasn't Johto the one with the Kimono Girls, who did this kind of dance? And their dance studio was in the same city as the region's Ghost-Type Gym Leader?? Are they really so desperate to throw in gen 1 references everywhere that they don't bring up Johto in relation to this? I get that with the Ghost-Typing it's based on the dance to welcome spirits during Obon, but it's celebrated all across Japan, not just the Kantou region. As a long-time Pokémon fan, I think of Johto when I think of regions more closely connected with traditional Japanese culture, not Kanto. This is such a lovely, well-thought-out Pokémon design and I just can't believe that even here they're trying to make gen 1 take precedence over everything else... I mean, I know this doesn't affect gameplay or anything, and of course I will still use it (I love the idea of birds as dancers) but this detail is just so baffling to me.Official Website said:The Sensu Style Oricorio is quiet and collected. By means of its dance, it gathers the spirits drifting about in an area and borrows their power to fight. People who migrated from Kanto feel a great liking for this Pokémon because its dance reminds them of their homeland.
