What is the best ice pokemon from a competetive battling point of view?: Well, just recently I was using Articuno in UU, it didn't work too well, lol. I can't pinpoint just one ice-type that is the best to use in the metagame, but I use Walrein, Snover, Jynx and Lapras in my Hail team, and they work wonderfully well together.

What is the best ice pokemon from a competetive battling point of view?
Well, my view is Regice. Being defensive and specially offensive would destroy any dragons that are weak against STAB Ice. Although it's weak with SR... And this is my set.

-Reason to Join- Ice is my all time favorite type!! I love how beautiful and powerful it is, even though it can at times be a bit fragile.
-Choose 1 Pokemon- Amelia, the Dewgong (F)
-Answer any current topic- Dewgong is my favorite Ice Type (Froslass is my spirit Pokemon though!) Pryce is my favorite gym leader, and I think that an Ice/Rock type would be really cool :)

-Answer any current topic- From a competitive battling background as well as a fan of many Pokemon types, I love Mamoswine. Ice and Ground are two of my 3 favourite types (other being poison) and it's an extremely formidable foe in battles. Ice shard and Earthquake are not to be taken lightly! However I also LOVE using Cloyster, if you're able to get a shell smash or two in, you'll take down pretty much anything :3 (as long as they don't have priority moves!)

Dewgong was my childhood favorite. :3 Pryce is my current favorite gym leader. The name ice says a lot. Just like the word, they're fragile, but deadly if you hold it for too long.

Mamoswine is a very powerful pokemon, or to me it is since I remember trying to take one down, and it defeated most of my team.

Choose 1 Pokemon: Glaceon, I'm a huge fan of the Eeveelutions and I actually never thought of using a Glaceon until I needed one during my gameplay. It's the reason why I became in-love with this Pokemon! It's pretty useful in battles, and if I had to choose an ice-type partner/Pokemon, then it'd be Glaceon.

For me its definitely Cubchoo, that thing is adorable! <3 I absolutely love it to pieces. Especially with this sprite...

Both ARE cute......but sure. We could make a poll on it XD Gonna place it on the main post...

Delibird is going to be used often now that Christmas is coming. The other ice types as well though.....even though it's around one month away.

I love delibird...I find something about it very cute. Can't blame you though, I didn't like it at first until the internet introduced cute pictures and my mind changed.....

It is.......just like ice cream...which is new but cute. People say they hate how Generation 5 made objects and house appliances into pokemon, but it's new, and I definitely don't mind an ice cream pokemon or lamp pokemon. They're new and rather cool.

There's a lamp Pokemon? No way o.o That sounds very cool! EDIT: D'oh, forgot Lampent.

Tbh, Vanillite is cute enough to get away with it haha. Plus Vanilluxe is incredibly strong! I used it as one of my main Pokemon in my first Black play through and it was very impressive, I absolutely loved using it. Although it did get some pretty nice gyms to fight for an Ice type (Ground, Flying and Dragon all come after catching it :p)
