Give some good ideas for tracks, albums, artists or whole genres you prefer to listen to while working out!

My workout music is pretty random... I think i need to look more into making a list with some good beat tunes. It's more important than I'd thought before, for staying motivated and consistent during my workout. So looking forward to seeing what you guys prefer :3

RISIN' UP, BACK ON THE STREET
DID MY TIME, TOOK MY CHANCES

i know Eye of the Tiger's a pretty overused answer for questions like this, but istg it helped me pump out more reps back when i was still lifting.

aside from that, Foo Fighters' harder songs are also pretty sweet. All My Life, Monkey Wrench, Best of You, The Pretender, etc. are solid tracks.

Impossible Kid, great album to workout to, always turn on TUFF when I am going for a heavy lift.

I've seriously been working out to the christmas hits list on spotify lately lmaooo. It's really cheerful!

I usually listen to full albums when I workout. My favorite albums to listen to while I am working out are Zack Hemsey - Ronin, SKÁLD - Vikings Chants & Vikings Memories, and Big Sean - Detroit 2. Although I also like a wide variety of music and it depends on my mood. Some days I listen to rap, some days I listen to pop, some days I listen to metal, some days I listen to country.

Something intense and fast paced, or with a really strong and emotive chorus, usually works for me.

    something like...

Killswitch engage MY Curse or Holy Diver
    Hopsin Witch Doctor
    Silent Season The Negative
    Stormzy Know Me
    NGHTMRE, SLANDER - Gud Vibrations
Chance the Rapper, Octave Minds - Tap Dance
    Gorillaz Feel Good Inc.

wasn't really putting that in any order, but that's probably a good set.

oh and Sucker for Pain, from the suicide squad album is another favorite.
Love when that one comes on when you're getting tired, and starting to feel it.

First time I deadlifted over 450 was to Wham!, not sure why George Michael gets my pumped but oh well. 😂

lol Dude I gotta know, what song was it? It wasn't "wake me up" was it?!

It actually was haha! Ever since I saw Zoolander as a kid and they play it during the gasoline fight, I've loved that song. A powerlifting competition I was at, a guest speaker talked about how he listen to Taylor Swift when he hit a bench PR because that's just what got him pumped and I was like "this man is absolutely right!".

lol oh my god that is awesome. and you know what I can't even talk, I haven't used it to work out but I get super excited whenever I hear, Tom Jones It's Not Unusual.

Probably at least partially because of fresh prince of bel-air, (and because the song is just awesome) its crazy the psychological effect of music tied to memories.

I could see that too! Picturing Carlton doing his dance to it! I think you're right too, any song that has a good memory to it should do that trick with getting your heart rate up and making you excited.
