World Animal Day! [Oct 4th]

World Animal Day was actually yesterday on October 4th, so, this is a thread where we can celebrate it! As you may of guessed, World Animal Day is a time where we show appreciation for all those animals and creatures out there, from Alligators to Zebras. It's also an effort to support well-being for animals for the struggles they endure.

So! On this thread, feel free to show your love of animals! What are your favourite sorts animals, and what kinds of animals would you like to see someday? If you have pets, what sort of pets do you have? Got any other stories/thoughts? Feel free to share them here!​

Animals are great. Over the years I've owned two cats and three chickens. Sadly, my eldest cat passed away a few months ago, but she did live to 16 which is a good age in my eyes!

Anyway, my favouirte animal is probably the Raccoon. It's just sooo adorable and I want one!

HAPPY WORLD ANIMAL DAY! I have so much love for animals. Some of my favourite animals would be the guinea pig, dog, rabbit, chicken and hedgehog. I also find researching dinosaurs fascinating, even though they went extinct long ago.

Animals are amazing and I could not imagine a planet without them. People who cut off rhino horns or elephant tusks just to make a profit for themselves make me incredibly sad. Leave them alone! They're becoming endangered due to poaching and of those that do survive without their horns or tusks, it brings great misery to them.

On a brighter note, I'd really love to own a dog one day. I'm not sure what breed I'd like but I've always been a huge fan of black and white dogs. I'd also like to own another guinea pig as I miss my old ones so much.

I love animals. I've got two cats atm and although they sometimes cause trouble I'm really happy to have them. They're a great source of therapy when I'm feeling upset. Just being able to pet them helps a lot in improving my mood.

Lately I've been wanting a small dog breed but it's 99% something I wouldn't be able to handle.. ha. D:

Animals are cute :3 They can be a pain sometimes, they always seem to be in the way of you. Every night when I try to sit down for supper, the dog is blocking my chair :p Oh well!
