Is it possible to soft reset the Snorlax to be a female? Or is the gender already set? Mine is a male, but I want a girl.

I never personally tested it, but if you save before fighting it I presume you could try resetting for a certain gender, nature and such. That's what I'm assuming if I recall Pokemon encountered in a similar manner.

In XY, Does the legendary bird's natures/IVs get determined each time you encounter it and reset in the Sea Spirit Den, or is it determined at the last time you run into it in the wild? I read a guide that had confusing wording. @_@ Thanks.

I successfully soft reset for a female Chespin at the beginning, so I hope this works, too. Thanks.

It's possible. I suggest you to take a male Pokémon with the ability Cute Charm as the gender ratio for female Snorlax is low.

The Cute Charm ability is a bit difficult to get in XY, I suggest to ask someone to trade Pokémon with.

As he mentioned, the only Pokemon I recall available in-game with Cute Charm are the Skitty and Jigglypuff lines, as well as Sylveon. The problem is Skitty and Jigglypuff have another ability besides Cute Charm, so a male Sylveon in my opinion would be the best candidate.

You can save and SR in Sea Spirit Den, Natures and IVs differ everytime you SR. Think of The Wing Mirages as the likes of Xerneas and Yveltal.

However, the Legends, including Mewtwo, are ALL shiny locked.

And I finally got her!

Charizard level 84

Wondering if anyone has a charizard around levels 80-90 and what your stats are? Am training mine up at the moment and want to make sure I'm not wasting my time on super training.

The stats between different Charizards will vary a lot depending on each one's IVs, EVs, and Natures, so someone else's level 80 Charizard could have stats that are quite different from yours. What exactly are you super training it in?

Also I merged your thread with our Q&A thread btw

This calculator told me the ranges a level 80 Charizard's stats should be, if it had no super training ("EVs") whatsoever. Because you are super training and probably above level 80, your stats should probably higher than the lower values of the ranges.

HP: 214 - 239
Attack: 139 - 164
Defense: 129 - 154
Special Attack: 179 - 204
Special Defense: 141 - 165
Speed: 165 - 189

A nature will raise/lower the value of your stats by 10%, so don't be worried if one of your stats is lower than any of these ranges. :) If you ever want to super train more than 1 pokemon at once, look into horde training.

Will there ever be mystery gift events for X and Y anymore? or will they all be for ORAS now?

As far as I recall, there have been a couple of events like this that have been for all 6th Gen games but then we have also been having some exclusive to OR/AS. So it's kinda hard to come to a conclusion to, but expect most events to mainly be OR/AS-focused.

X and Y are still fairly new, so I'd imagine there to be a couple of more events for them somewhere down the road. Though, I feel it'd be slightly better to not get our hopes up, because, as stated above, they definitely are putting more focus toward ORAS at the moment.

Only getting male turtwigs

I've recently been trying to breed a male turtwig and a ditto in order to get a femal turtwig. I know the odds of getting one to be a female is one in eight, but i've bread over 30 turtwigs and they've all been male. Am i doing something wrong?

No you are not doing anything wrong, you're just being unlucky. It's expected that you'll be obtaining tons of males when it comes to starters, fossils and others with the 87.5% male ratio. Keep at it and I'm sure you will get a female soon!

so i remembered in some of the, if not all of the gen 2-5 games the day care guy who lurks outside of the fence waiting for eggs to be made would hold multiple eggs at a time. dose the one in x/y still do that or is it just one @ a time now?

It's one at a time, it's always been like that. They've never been able to hold more than one egg at a time.
