6th Gen Yep, I think we've found a really strong Trainer!

    Remember Gabby and TY from RSE? They would periodically circle through many routes and battle us with two strong Pokémon (Exploud and Magneton) and give us a chance to get good training. Plus, they have Pokémon that are related to their jobs: interviewing strong trainers! (technically just the player but still)

    Do you think they would make a comeback? Would their teams be changed due to the new Pokémon additions after Hoenn? Do you think their interviews would be bigger than just saying one word?
     
    I really hope they bring them back, fighting those two over and over was how I grinded back in the day, I could never be bothered to manually search for people on my match call and Gabby and Ty were always stronger anyhow.

    I'd like to see a bigger team than just Magneton and Exploud, possibly a Noivern, that would fit in well with their theme

    A Noivern would be a really cool addition! Gabby could also have a Chatot, lol. Just suits her to a tee.
     
    I always trained with Gabby & TY, I really enjoyed rebattling them over and over. I really hope they're brought back since they were a great little addition to RSE, perhaps they can change what Pokemon they use depending on certain aspects of the game.
     
    God Gabby and Ty! I kinda liked how they were always there :3 Always grinded against them if I had the chance! I want them to be there again! The only thing I want to see is that they would be roaming more places than the 3 predetermined spots. Give them a little challenge when battling them and stuff :3

    What if... they roam these spots randomly! That way, it will be hard nail them and grind with them because we'll have to search through the region to find them. Although I'll admit, I trained most of my Pokémon up to even Lv 60 with them because of the double battle thing: Just stomp in with a strong Pokémon and use something like Surf and wipe both Exploud and Magneton out. Quite fun if you ask me.

    Yeah, like it would prevent players to abuse the system! Tbh, I battle them coz for the interview lel but I kinda like having to grind them :)
     
    Ty and Gabby were great. Although I always felt bad for never answering their interviews...>__> It would be kinda nice to see a bigger role for them, but then again I feel that way with every character and feature in the games. :P

    Also, I just now, for the first time, realized Gabby's name is a play on the word "gab". ಠ_ಠ
     
    I certainly hope so - Gabby & Ty were more or less the method I used (whenever I got sick of grinding in the Victory Road) to grind for the E4. I also used the duo to grind for Steven in Emerald.

    Perhaps after obtaining the National dex? I honestly can't see GameFreak adding newer species that aren't related to mons already in the Hoenn dex.

    I said this in another thread, but I can definitely see them adding Pokemon that weren't present in XY just so we could be able to catch everything in both Gen 6 games. Remember, these Pokemon weren't in Hoenn because they weren't made yet, so there isn't an excuse for them not to be there, really.

    I'm sure they'll bring them back. :) Maybe with another Pokemon or two, but I can actually see them staying the same.
     
    I like the concept of the two double battle trainers, and the way they changes places when you beat them! I really hope they will come back :D Maybe like aquacorde said,with more pokemon or you know, a little something more! [But I want them to keep Exploud and Magneton ^_^ (Magnezone?)]
     
    I loved Gabby & Ty! I always gave them an interview afterwards cause I got a kick out of checking for it on the TVs lol xD


    Plus I liked that they used a Magneton, it's not a Pokémon you see very often :)

    In fact, every Pokémon trainer would really benefit from the new Pokémon. Especially since the trend is to now expand the Dexes as generations progress, I can easily see Gabby & Ty getting a full 6 Pokémon roster.
     
    I really appreciated these two. I was quite elated that they were willing to interview me each and every time. I got a giggle out of giving them really sketchy or random phrases, and they aired it! :P

    What I'd like for them are eventually a higher level team (50s), and can be found in more locations. They've gotta scoot around more! I'm fine with the distance, as long as they're an easy walk away from any Fly destination. I'm pretty I got dizzy flying to Mauville so many times.

    Ohh, but if they do visit more locations, there should be a way to find them. I'm not checking all 10+ spots.
     
    If they don't come back, idk about y'all but my grinding method will be completely ruined.
     
    I'd also like a bigger team, yeah. For Gabby, I'd hope her endteam is something like Beautifly / Magnezone / Delcatty and Ty's is Dustox / Probopass / Exploud so they both keep their staples and have some symmetry so it's fun and colorful and yay
     
    Gabby and Ty were a quirky, unique little part to Hoenn that gave us an easy way to grind and an efficient one. I'm sure they'll be returning, and most likely with a diversified team. One of my favorite parts of RSE was giving them completely nonsensical phrases and seeing it aired around the region, haha.
