    Mum: What's the Pokémon who looks like a blue donkey?
    Me: ...Come again?
    Mum: Well I was looking through eBay and they had this darling Pokémon plushie which looks like a blue donkey. It has long ears blue ears.
    Me: ...Errrr. I can't actually think of any Pokémon based off of a donkey. Can you provide a little more detail than that?
    Mum: It was cute.
    Me: Yeah, like that helps. *pulls up an image from Google Image Search of all Pokémon* Okay, point to it.
    [cue five minutes of scrolling and suggesting]
    Mum: Ahhh, that's it! That one!
    Me: That's Glaceon. She doesn't look a thing like a donkey.
    Mum: She does!
    Me: She does not! She looks like a dog!
    Mum: A dog?! She looks like a donkey!
    Me: SHE EVOLVES FROM EEVEE, WHO IS A DOG*!
    Mum: YOU EVOLVED FROM A DOG!
    Me: ...Think really carefully about what you just said.
    Mum: *walking away* Too late, I already did.

    My household: insane since 1989.

    * I have long held the belief that Eevee looks more like a dog than a cat. Or maybe a fox.
     
    Have you ever tried selling your lives to a TV station? They could make some really awesome series XD

    Definitely that, though Bulbapedia also says it has catlike and doglike traits XD (along with all it's evolutions)

    But how DARE she call Glaceon a "donkey" ;_; *loves that cute ice type to death*

    For a second, though, I thought she was mistaking Eeyore for a Pokemon XD
