Your favourite Pokémon with many forms?

And by that I don't mean transformations like Mega Evolution, just Pokémon that naturally come in different formes.

There can be anything between those with just 2 forms (Shellos, Basculin, Urshifu...), over Vivillon's 20 and Unown's whole alphabet to Alcremie's whopping 63 flavours - but by far the greatest champion of aesthetic variety by sheer number is Spinda, with over 4 billion different spot patterns.

Which Pokémon with that sort of gimmick do you like most, and do you like seeming them in general?

I do, and this time I'll go with Burmy and Wormadam as my favourites. I'm also getting to really like Alcremie recently.

Assuming we're not including regional variants:

I want to agree with Burmy since I adore bagworms and, as a Gen. II-er, the Unown are pretty nostalgic, but I think I'm going to go with Castform for this one (I'm especially fond of its Snow-cloud form). I just wish the forms weren't battle-exclusive...

(It would be pretty cool if Castform made it into The Crown Tundra update and would change form in the overworld depending on the weather.)

Love Castform! For the longest time I had mine in Ruby without Hail (and so no access to Snowy Form) because he had forgotten it and I was little and didn't know you could relearn moves. Once I realised you could, I was so happy to finally have him complete, and raised him to learn Weather Ball. He's one of my really memorable individual Pokémon.

Castform's very interesting for me back when I first played emerald. used to be amazed whenever it changes form haha. not that good competitively but its cute >.<

Yeah I might go with Castform as well actually, I'm not the biggest fan of a lot of the 'form' Pokemon, just by their general design. But, I do really like Castform and think all its forms are pretty cool, especially as it was sort of a new thing when I first played through Hoenn!

Alcremie! 😄 It's so cute that it comes in different ''flavors'', and the little decorations are the perfect finishing touch. And, come on, there are so many of them!! I mean, I'm a very artistic/visual person, and I spend absolutely excessive amounts of time customizing my character in every game where it's available, so of course I'd jump at the chance to whip up and decorate my own perfect, individual aesthetic dessert Pokemon. 🍰

Vivillon is gorgeous! I love its many different forms, they're all incredibly beautiful and unique. I also love how their pattern depends on your geographical location. I think it's such a neat concept overall.

Alcremie is definitely my second favourite! All of the flavours are adorable! 💗✨

I remember having one named Hailraiser that I used in Colosseum. xD

I thought for the longest time that I didn't get into Ice-types until DP, but now I'm realizing even more that I must've started digging them in Gen. III (I also remember using Glalie and Walrein).

Shellos-Gastrodon is for me the one with the best concept, and I think it's an interesting 'gimmick' that could be introduced on a greater scale in a new game. As for actual aesthetics, probably either Castform or Vivillon.

Was just about to say I guess I don't really have one...then I remembered Kyurem. I think I'd go with that over Necrozma because he actually takes 2 transformations and 3 different forms total to actually become Dragon lmao.

Dog Zygarde and Big Man style Zygarde are cool too.

    That's a cute story! ^^

Heh, makes sense you'd pick Kyure. And yush, dog zygarde is cool.

I don't think I have a favorite one, but it's a cool concept. If I had to choose, probably castform too. Shaymin is also cool and I like both designs, though maybe I like the original one more as a cute and timid mon.

    OK

    Ralts family

I first learned about them from the pokemon crystal romhack - Pokemon Prism, due to the limited colors i didn't knew what type it was so i assumed it was grass type becuase of it's GREEN color

Either way i like female Gardevoirs and Gallades the most, both of these pokemon will protect you if you're in danger (And no, i don't treat Gardevoir as rule 34 material, even thought it's the first pokemon i catch in gen 3 if it wasn't optainable thought normal means at start of the game)

    Ahaha.

maybe ARBOK the pattern on his chest change(if that is allowed but when not it's UNOWN)
