Who was your first friend in life? Are you still friends with this person? How has this person impacted your life?

A friend that I've known since I was less than a year old.
Our families were originally neighbors, in an apartment complex (across the street from each other). I'm 6 or so months older than him, but we couldn't have met until after I was at least 7 months old, considering I was too half dead sickly and stuff to leave the hospital until I was around a month old.

Now we see each other several times every week, along with occasionally chatting on facebook or over the phone. We also battle/trade Pokemon from time to time, sometimes placing bets on the battles.

    I have 2:
One guy I used to hang out with from when we were 1 years old. Didn't hang out much cause he lived hours away, but his mom and my mom were like best friends or something. The times we did hang out were cool enough.
The other was a more daily best friend kind of guy, who hanged out with me for quite a while. He and I became friends only because I threw a rock at him and he was my neighbor, so I had to say sorry and what not.

I don't talk to either of them a lot anymore since I moved, but I have em on Facebook.

    I had a friend who I met in daycare when I was about three or four, we shared Lunchables or something and ended up spending the night at each other's houses every other month xD;

We grew apart in middle school though, and didn't see each other in high school despite going to the same school. Kinda sad, but I have her on Facebook if I ever wanted to get in touch with her again.

My first friend was probably my back-then neighbor. We saw each other everyday since we could walk, and probably before that too. He moved away when I was around 10, so I don't see him much anymore, but he was always a great dude.

Hmm probably my cousin who's around a year older than me. :D. I think we met when we were two or three? I still chat to him quite a bit haha and learnt that he likes violent games although he isn't into Pokemon too much. :B

And there were also two boys I used to hang out with in Kindergarten, one was shortr and still hilariously short while the other was quite tall. I still talk to them both quite a bit but we've got our different friendship groups now I suppose you can call it. :P

My first girlfriend was my first friend. We met when we were 4 or 5 and pretty much grew up together. I kind of remember our first meeting. It involved playing on the school playground and being the only two kids who didn't want to play in the new playhouse (that actually turned out to be a shed), but from there it's pretty fuzzy.

My 1st friend is inside my head in its own dimension and life.

No really, I've met my very 1st friend(is still my best friend)when I was in 3rd grade. We were fighting back then, but realized we had a lot in common, including our B-days.

A Girl who lived near my house...she was at my same age..her name was Samar..she was Blonde with green eyes and about my height,i never forget her cuz she was a very best friend of me..we went to the same school we studied together..we even watched the same cartoons only to meet up next days and talk about it.."Remi" haha that was awesome..sadly because of some troubles happened me and her had to stop talking to each others...we couldn't even wave when we see each others...then i moved away for a while....it was great days..sometimes i miss her a lot!she remind me of my childhood!

    Yup...I have 2:

One is still my best friend, he's muslim like me, we first met in my first school, I'll never forget him. He still a very nice person, he also is from my country, so we meet up there.

There's Another one, he was so cool, but now I hate him. I don't know what happened to him, but one day he just came and said, "I don't want to be your friend anymore!" Now he's kind of a bully. Me and this friend i mentioned earlier used to hang out together.

Sadly, I am not in contact with those who were my first friends. None of the friends I made while I was in Colorado I really keep in contact with. It's a little sad but I guess that is just how life goes. I don't even stay in enough contact with the one who I called my best friend for years here in Florida orz.

... wow this post makes me sound like a lonely before. Point is I do remember them but I do not keep in contact with them anymore.

If I go way back to when I was living in Europe I don't even remember who my first friend was, but from the time I moved to the US (1999) I remember befriending a kid there who I would never see again, until about 10 years later when I saw a guy that had the same name and looked similar to him. I had changed by then so he couldn't recognize me, but I hinted that we met in the past and he started to freak out; we weren't as close as we used to be, but at least we met each over again and we still hung out and talked.

Haven't really spoken since he graduated, but I got his number and I'll probably text him sometime this week.

The first friend I've ever made I met in Kindergarten (he swears it was pre-school), and he actually lives about several minutes from my house. But after not seeing each other for pretty much seven years (since I moved to AZ) - not counting the times I've visited - we've become really different from each when, as kids, we had a lot in common. He listens to rap, I listen to metal; I still play Pokémon, he stopped. I still consider him a very close friend of mine, but I don't talk to him/hang out with him as much as I think I should. I mean, he's pretty much the only friend I have out here, so it'd make sense to stay in contact with him more often. I'm just really bad at staying in contact with friends, I guess. :\

I'm kinda surprised so many people have kept in touch with their early friends.

I moved when I was young (3rd grade, I think) and I lost touch with pretty much all my friends after that. My first friend might have been my cousin, but I didn't know he was my cousin at the time. I only found out later at some family event thingy and was all "It's you!"

Or it might have been these brothers who lived not far from where I did. Lost touch with them, too. Then I heard that one of them went to the same college I did. I never sought him out though. :/

My first friend was a girl I met in school when I was living in Nebraska. We hung out after school sometimes. Had fun talking about similar interests and cheering when Jack died in Titanic, haha.

I'd been given her address right before I moved away, but then I lost it, so we never got in touch again. I don't even remember her name anymore. :(

Not sure if he was my 'first' friend, but definitely my first best friend. I met him when I was 5 and he was 4, he was playing baseball with his dad in front of the building and I saw them and the dad asked me to join them, and ever since we've been playing together a lot. At the start, we lived in the same building then later on he moved to the building next to me and a few later he moved to another borough. So now it's really hard to see each other since it would take like 45 minutes to an hour to get to each other's place =/

Didn't see him for like 8 years now =/

The first friend I remember having in life was a girl named Brandi. We went to preschool together and are still friends to this day. We don't really talk to each other much, though.
