Generally, I just box 'em if I feel like catching them, but to be honest, I hardly ever bother with catching the legendaries anymore...

In ruby I chose Treecko, because I always thought Sceptile was made of awesome, and because I love grass types. In Leafgreen I picked Bulbasaur because he is my favorite starter of all time.

Generally, I choose the Grass type for my starter, but for some reason, I always make an exception in Johto and go with Totodile. Don't really know why, but for some reason I just have to choose him. Now, I haven't played any of the Sinnoh games, but if I ever did, I'd probably pick Turtwig.

Meh, joining team rocket at that point in the game would be kinda boring. You wouldn't get to recapture Silph Co. Which is my favorite part of the game. Now, if you could become the leader after you defeat Giovanni once and for all, then I would consider it.

The version exclusives hardly matter, especially if you have friends who can trade with you. I usually end up getting the game my friend doesn't anyway.
