It would certainly be a good thing, I hope they reintroduce at least Feebas old evolution method. As for Sylveon I think that if Amie is not returning they're just gonna make it unavailable in these games like they did with Leafeon and Glaceon in HG/SS.

I definitely can see the Mew and Deoxis island coming back and being accessible through a wifi-event, thought I don't see a reason to keep the island where you find Ho-oh and Lugia event related considering you can now get them easily, maybe it'll come back accessible post-game without the need...

It wasn't that great of a fishing mechanic, but if they were to add a layer of complexity and actually make the player capable of influencing the outcome in a meaningfull way, it would be a much appretiated addition.

Yeah I think we should have learned by now that Game Freak is unpredictable, if they decide to add something in the game they'll do it even if it doesn't apparently make sense, so anything we can say now about how something would be out of place or wouldn't fit the various inexistent "patterns"...
