October?! geez haha, I've had my fair share of bad jobs for various reasons but that's so long. Honestly I don't think I've ever had a job that was decent enough - almost always involves a rude supervisor and it sucks. My luck there isn't great lol. I think the best of all the jobs I had was an internship my high school got for me at 17. :'D still the case 13 years later

Yikes! One of the nearby hospitals' roof caught fire after a lightning strike.

Back where I used to live, some idiot had installed a huge AC on the roof of the mall. Winter came and it couldn't handle the AC and the weight of the snow and caved in, killing one.

hmmm.... I wouldn't say I'm afraid of thunder/lightning, but I do always get a bit nervous as it's always unpredictable.
How do you get through thunderstorms then? Drown out the noise with loud music or something? =o
(Guess I'm being nosy, feel free to ignore lol)

I love lightning, it's just so mesmerising at times, but I'm absolutely terrified of it for reasons I won't go into here, so I feel your pain. I hope everyone was ok 🤞
No plans for the weekend here, other than to recover a bit. I had an extremely long day yesterday and went to bed unable to speak. I'm partially verbal today so hopefully it'll be ok 😊

it went alright!! it was more or less like any other day though. relaxed quite a bit after i got home from work, did a bit of gaming, and ate some bday pizza. c:

Awww you need a cake!!!
The last one I had was at Disney World a few years ago...
I fell really, really, ill a few days before my birthday. We had a reservation on my birthday for Rapunzel dining, and my partner refused cancel it no matter how much I asked her to (you can probably figure out how ill I was because I wanted to bail on Rapunzel!) It turned out she had ordered a Rapunzel cake to be brought to the table during the meal, that's why we had to go!
I was completely unable to eat any food. I felt absolutely terrible. Next thing I know, this HUGE cake was being brought out as well! She had asked her brother to order it, and instead of ordering the cake for 2 or 4 or whatever, he had ordered this great big thing for 15 people or something by mistake😂

No worries be as nosey as you like! Sadly I REALLY struggle with it T__T. I try and calm myself but honestly I think I'm getting worse as it gives me panic attacks :/. I never use to be this bad but it's been getting worse sadly :( . It sucks noodles. Hopefully I'll get over it one day.
*Big hugs*. Yeh fortunately everyone was fine if not a bit shocked. It was put out quickly.

I took it to a nearby hotel and asked them to put it in cold storage for the day for me, then took it back to the hotel and fridged it. I literally survived on it for the rest of the trip!
