  • I would watch more anime if I didn't have to watch like 50 episodes. The number of episodes turn me off, because when it's school and not holiday it's like I have better things to do than watch anime. Though an episode or two never hurt.

  • Shorter animes are usually cuter ones. I'm turned off by the sheer number of episodes Bleach had. I watched like..
    Spoiler:
so I just watched until that part ended and cya. Plus some of the episodes are just what happened 100 years ago and such, flashback while you're near your enemy. That's totally cool, too bad it wastes A WHOLE EPISODE.

Still, the more episodes the more the plot deepens and such, the top three most popular anime are:
    1. Naruto (300+ episodes)
    2. Bleach (200+)
    3. One Piece (I HATE IT)

  • Which is what turns me off. TOO MUCH PLOT is the problem. Too much complications and such... I guess AIR TV and Clannad can work since comined they have like.. 50, less or more or something, which isn't much to me.

By too much plot, do you mean a plot that just keeps going when it should have ended a long time ago? Because Naruto and Bleach do just that.

My favorite long and ongoing anime/manga is definitely Hajime No Ippo. It's like Baki the Grappler, but good.

Wait, can I still have fun with my gender? :(

AIR TV has 13 some-odd episodes.. it's really short. It has a movie too, which is a different variation of the series. I like shorter animes too. Any longer than 50 episodes, I begin to lose track.

Yeah, that's what they do. Sorry, waiting a week for "what happened 100 years ago" and then another week for the battle that'll probably take 3 weeks, it's just a no no.

    Never heard of it.

Luck is U.G.O (Unidentified Gender Object, Or Yugiho)

I think it's just a little too much. Sometimes you just have to roll it on another episode but it's just too much episodes that turn me off and really, one plot leads to another just feels like a slippery slope thingy and is exactly one of the things that makes us not hear from great things like the shorter but more awesome anime.
Genderbending is fun though. I bet you can't guess my gender :3
You're a transexual but they failed during it, thus you don't have a gender. Am I doing this right?

  • Clannad :P
Jordan recommended it for me :3

Jordan will probably push After Story on you when you're done with Clannad. ;3

If you watch Clannad, you should watch Clannad After Story. Clannad has 23 episodes, After Story has 24, and there's a couple "Another World" episodes that are alternate story paths. So, combined with AIR TV, that's a total of about 60 episodes. It's no small task, but that's still around 30 hours for completing what My Anime List counts as three separate series.
