well reading those three the first thing that comes to my mind is ferrothorn
    Ferrothorn @ Leftovers
    Ability: Iron Barbs
    EVs: 252 Def / 252 HP / 4 Atk
    Relaxed Nature
    IVs: 0 Spd
    - Stealth Rock
    - Leech Seed
    - Thunder Wave
    - Gyro Ball

you can use toxic or spikes too but i like this set better

    Skarmory @ Leftovers
    Ability: Sturdy
    EVs: 232 Def / 252 HP / 24 Spd
    Bold Nature
    - Spikes
    - Roost
    - Whirlwind
    - Toxic

    Deoxys-Defense @ Leftovers
    Ability: Pressure
    EVs: 252 SDef / 252 HP / 4 Atk
    Careful Nature
    - Magic Coat
    - Knock Off
    - Recover
    - Spikes

you can use klefki for priority+spikes but i don't like it.

    A few of my favs:

Tentacruel @ Blacksludge | Air Balloon
    Ability: Liquid Ooze
    EVs: 224 SDef / 252 HP / 32 Spd
    Calm Nature
    - Scald
    - Ice Beam | Sludge Bomb
    - Rapid Spin
    - Toxic Spikes

Removes the opponent's hazards and then sets up its own. Just make sure you keep it out of the way of Physical attacks, because its Defense is not too good.

    Smeargle @ Focus Sash
    Ability: Own Tempo
    EVs: 4 SDef / 252 HP / 252 Spd
    Timid Nature
    - Spore | Dark Void
    - Stealth Rock
    - Sticky Web
    - Spikes | Magic Coat

Works better in Hyper Offensive teams, as it is almost always guaranteed to set up at least one hazard before going down. That way, the rest of your team will have an easier time sweeping.

Depending what game your playing, if your not on a gen 5 game then go for serperior as it's speed isn't as good as carnivine but it can take A LOT OF HITS. the disadvantage though is that it's move pool is very basic and bland. If your playing gen 5 then go for carnivine as it will provide your team with a fast attacking pokemon and being honest even not playing gen 5 I'd still go with carnivine

Carnivine is an attacking Pokemon but it is not fast at all. Its Speed stands at a lackluster base 46. Besides, I'd go for Serperior regardless, as it has wonderful speed, passable coverage (Can hit Steel-types with Rock Smash), dual screens (That is, Light Screen and Reflect) and a great boosting move in Growth, which boosts both Attack and Special Attack, all the things that Carnivine can't match.

Sorry that was my mistake, I had got the two pokemon stats mixed up, but yes your entirely right with that statement.

Is night shade/seismic toss before/worse in level 50 compared to level 100? Approximately by how much?

Night Shade and Seismic Toss' base power is based entirely on the user's level. So in this case, a Lv100 user of the move will be doing more damage with it compared to a Lv50 user. The higher the user's level, the stronger the base power.

I'd like to specify and expand on this: Night Shade and Seismic Toss do damage equal to the user's level. ex: If a level 50 Pokemon uses Night Shade/Seismic Toss, it does 50 HP damage; if a level 100 Pokemon uses either move, it does 100 HP damage.

Oh whoops, my question wasn't clear. Do these moves proportionately do more/less damage in lv50 versus lv100?

These moves deal damage equal to the user's level so naturally, a level 50 user would deal less damage compared to a level 100 user. However, if the level 50 user is versing another level 50 Pokemon, then the damage might be comparable to the damage that a level 100 user deals against a level 100 opponent.

    For example:
    A L100 Abomasnow against another L100 Abomasnow:
    Abomasnow Seismic Toss vs. 252 HP Abomasnow: 100-100 (26 - 26%) -- guaranteed 4HKO

    A L50 Abomasnow against another L50 Abomasnow:
    Abomasnow Seismic Toss vs. 252 HP Abomasnow: 50-50 (25.3 - 25.3%) -- guaranteed 4HKO

(Keep in mind that Abomasnow cannot learn Seismic Toss. I just used it as an example.)

Smeargle got itself sent to OU, so one of my UU teams has an open slot in it now. I don't know what to put in there though. The team consists of Kyurem, Darmanitan, Toxicroak, Escavalier, and Mega Blastoise. What would be a good Pokemon for the team in that last slot?

Here's the details of the team, if you need 'em:

    Help with Pain Split?

    So, I've been trying to build a good competitive battling team, and I heard that Pain Split is a great move for Dusknoir to learn. So, I taught it pain split. However, every time I use it, the move just causes damage to my Dusknoir, and either heals or leaves the opponent with the same HP. I tried looking up how pain split works but everything was either hard for me to understand, or it gave me the wrong idea and didn't help me once I tried it out. Can someone please explain it to me in the simplest way possible, because I desperately want to know how this move works. I have no idea why this move is giving me such a hard time, I've been playing Pokemon since gen 3 and only got into competitive in Gen 5. You probably think I'm stupid, and maybe I'm just having a brain fart, but please explain pain split to me ;-;

Pain Split adds the current HP of the user and target Pokémon. It then divides this value by two and sets the HP of both Pokémon to the result. If the new value is higher than the maximum HP of either Pokémon, that Pokémon will have its HP set to that maximum.

    https://bulbapedia.bulbagarden.net/wiki/Pain_Split_(move)

it also comes in delicious flavors like banana split or strawberry split

Dont use it unless your HP is low. It should be used as a HP recovery move. It adds up both the targets remaining hp and your remaining hp and then divides it between you by two. If you have lower hp than the target they will lose hp and you will gain hp back.

A Modest nature is better for Mega Blastoise. Just saying.

Anyway, Florges or Aromatisse can fit in the last slot to give Wish support to Blastoise, Darmanitan and Escavalier:

    Florges:
    -Wish
    -Protect
    -Moonblast
    -Aromatherapy/Toxic
    Nature: Bold/Calm
    EVs: 252 HP/232 Def/24 SDef
    Item: Leftovers

    Aromatisse:
    -Wish
    -Protect
    -Moonblast
    -Aromatherapy
    Nature: Bold
    EVs: 252 HP/252 Def/4 SDef
    Item: Leftovers
    Ability: Aroma Veil

    Pokemon Y Mewtwo moveset help

I really want to teach my Mewtwo Ice beam and I don't know what move to replace. Right now his moveset is: Psystrike, Psychic, Shadow Ball and Aura sphere. I was thinking of either getting rid of Psystrike or Psychic but I'm not sure. Help please.

You should definitely keep Psystrike. It deals damage to your opponent's physical Defense stat, which could be very helpful when going up against the likes of Chansey and Blissey. :] Also, maybe you could teach it Calm Mind; after one use, it would instantly be ready for sweeping. Perhaps you could remove Psychic and put it in its place?
