    Not that Parivir shouldn't die, but if we burn him he'll survive for an extra day. Maybe we should burn Nagi? We don't know what her role actually does (though maybe it doesn't matter all that much, idk)

    And I'm still not sure whether we get to make two votes or not, so [Burn] Charlie Brown and Nagi

    Night Eight
    They were nearly there. Come dawn, they would be at the capital. Their journey would be at its end, and perhaps so too would their strife.

    But for now, matters had not changed. The eagerness of the group had led to the decision of two burnings today. Two chances to weed out the remaining opposition.

    Both of the people that had been chosen had been unusually silent. One of which was Charlie Brown, the Alchemist. He'd survived the conflict with the Lycans, and had played an integral role in defeating the Alpha the first time around, as well as holding off the Necromancer. But now things were different. He was different. The red mist had done something to his mind, and he was no longer loyal to Haven.

    The second person was Parivir. She had been quiet for most of the journey, and perhaps that silence was what drew attention to her.

    Both were bound to a single pyre. It ignited beneath their feet, and the setting sun was accentuated by the sounds of their screams.

    The Banshee watched from a distance, holding the remainder of the Frost Orb that had exploded earlier. She was not technically among the living, so a little cold wasn't going to harm her.

    But she could sense that something was coming. Something that would put them all in danger. And for that, she wailed, creating an atmosphere of unease that settled over the survivors.

    This could potentially be their final night together.

    Charlie Brown is dead. He was the Alchemist.
    Parivir is dead. She was the Wereboar.

    Thanks to the merger of the groups, there will be a night kill tonight. As it's an even night, all Daemons should send in a vote for a player that they wish to kill.

    • In order for a player to be burned, they must have a majority of at least half the number of current players plus one.
    • If your vote is not in the format of [b]Burn[/b] Player, it will not be counted.

    Day Nine
    The group was practically at their destination. The lights of the city were growing ever nearer as they approached its walls.

    But the closer they got, the greater the tension. It didn't help that two people had already died during the night. Superjolt and Hopeless Masquerade had both been screaming about some sort of beast chasing them, some vision that they had silently been experiencing for two nights beforehand.

    Zami knew well the stories. A Hellhound marked its prey for death, and upon the third greeting of its visage, its victims would perish.

    And so the two had collapsed before the sun even loomed on the horizon.

    And the third death came just before the sun rose. They were nearly upon the capital when the Daemons lashed out at the Joker, but the trickster evaded them, sacrificing a Pawn in his stead. Poor Wizardman never even saw it coming.

    The She-Wolf had also made her move, lunging at Lucifer, but the Necromancer intervened with some sort of curse. It corrupted Ash's bite, so that instead of taking life, it gave it instead. Ullion would live to see another day.

    But how long would that be?

    Not much else happened that night, at first. The Lamp Maker handed out two more lanterns, and the Banshee left something with the Lamp Maker before she was approached by her beloved Kharis. The woman bared her fangs and tried to sink her teeth into her lover's neck, but . . . nothing seemed to come of it. What had she been trying to do, exactly?

    Before anymore drama could unfold, just as the group had nearly reached the gates of the city, they were ambushed. Figures came out of nowhere, binding, gagging, and blindfolding them all as they were dragged away.

    When they came to a few hours later, the sun was already high in the sky.

    Everyone looked around, but only the Necromancer realized what was happening. He looked up at the figure that watched them from the stands above. They were all in some sort of arena.

    As his eyes adjusted to the light, the Necromancer recognized the face that glared back at him.

    "Baldassare?" he asked, confused. "What is the meaning of this?"

    "You know exactly what this is, dear friend. I suggest you all prepare yourselves. Most of you will be dead in the next few hours."


    Superjolt is dead. He was the Shadow.
    Wizardman11 is dead. He was a Pawn.
    Hopeless Masquerade is dead. He was a Pawn.
    Zehn has been removed from the game.
    Sopheria has re-entered the game.

    There will be no burning today. This is currently a preparatory phase. If you have items, you may choose to equip them to yourself or any other player. If a player that you've equipped is dead or dies, you may re-equip their items to someone else.

    Well it's far too late to have an opinion. :P But don't worry. At least you'll win with the Faedead instead of stinky ol' fat cat. That is if you survive.

    We outnumber him plenty, but we're stuck waiting on this intermission phase.
