Is it ok to resumbit the Anime Challenge? Sorry as much time as I spend here I dont really know the small things like when or how its ok to resubmit something, but I just thought itd be nice having a pretty popular one back but I wasnt sure if i could or if someone was waiting on it already and all...

You could do it yourself if no one is planning on reviving the challenge. As far as I know, no one is planning on doing it.

I've played numerous challenges ever since I joined the forum back in 2012, but this one looks pretty unique. I would definitely try this one out when you revive it. It looks interesting.

Id definitly take part. It sounds really neat and unique.

Normally I would just private message you, but since you already posted here, might as well respond aha. Anyway, are you taking on the challenge as well? I didn't see any indication in your post and we do require that challenge hosts partake in the challenges they post as well, so I just want to make sure. I know sometimes people forget to include their sign up, so I figured I'd ask.

Of Course!, I will, for the most part I didn't want to clutter the Rules with My entry and I was getting ready to put in my own form underneath. I rather have someone ask me if I'm doing my own challenge and explain to make the main rules as clean as possible

Pokémon challenge Locke

Rules:
1. Standard Nuzlocke rules.
2. Game must be randomized with the randomizer rules (below section)
3. Only 1 Mom heal
Gym rules:
1. Gym 1 only starter for the gym, no held items
2. Gym 2 only 2 Pokémon, no held items, no bag items
3. Gym 3 only 3 Pokémon, no held items, no bag items
4. Gym 4 only 4 Pokémon, no held items, no bag items
5. Gym 5 only 5 Pokémon, no held items, no bag items
6. Gym 6 full 6 Pokémon, no held items, no bag items
7. Gym 7 full 6 Pokémon, held items allowed, no bag items
8. Gym 8 full 6 Pokémon, held items allowed, bag items allowed
9. Elite 4 full 6 Pokémon, held items allowed, bag items allowed and 2 attempts.
10. Champion full 6 Pokémon, held items allowed, bag items allowed and 2 attempts, 5 revives in battle.
Randomizer rules:
1. Base stats random
2. Abilities random, allow wonder guard
3. Types unchanged
4. Evolutions random
5. Starters random completely
6. Static randomized
7. Trades random
8. Trainer pkmn random
9. Rival carries starter
10. Percentage lvl mod 20%
11. Wild pkmn random
12. Random held items
13. Field items random
14. Randomizer misc. at will.
Bag items = potions etc. in battle

Nope. It's been inactive too long so they removed it. You can remake the whole challenge and post it so other people can do it too.

So I've started working on and off on a combined Monosize challenge where it'd be like any other monos but all within the same height or weight "class". I divvied up the classes myself and tried to make it so that I could get as close as I could to an even number of fully evolved mons in each. Here are the classes

Monoheight:
0.1-0.9m
1.0-1.2m
1.3-1.5m
1.6-1.9m
2.0-14.5m

Monoweight:
0-20.0kg
20.1-35.0kg
35.1-60.0kg
60.1-120.0kg
120.1-999.9kg

Most of my time has been put into making reference sheets, since it's hard to read which mons are in each class from the Bulbapedia pages. You can see the first 2 height class sheets here and here.

What do you guys think? Do you think people would play it? Also, can you think of any fun themes/ideas for what to name the classes? Thanks.

Hey ppl. I came up with Nuzlocke challenge called the Animelocke. I'm LPing it on my channel would like some feedback on the rules. Anything that could make it better. Thanks :D

Animelocke rules
1. Your starter Pokemon is the "Hero" (Think Rorouni Kenshin) of the story. Just like any good anime your hero should be with you throughout the story. So, you can NOT put your starter in the PC box. If your hero (starter) dies than your strongest leveled Pokemon MUST give up his life to revive your hero.
2. You can choice ONE Pokemon to be your "Hero Pokemon's" rival. The "Rival Pokemon" (Think Saskue) can take your "Hero Pokemon" spot and become the Hero Pokemon. (I know sounds confusing) The Rival mon can only do that AFTER being with your party for 3 gyms.
3. Healing items (senzu bean) can only be used during MAJOR battles (Gym Leaders, Rivals, Evil Team bosses, Elite four) and outside of battles.
4. You must nickname every Pokémon you catch based off an anime reference.
5. Nuzlocke Clauses: These are additional rules. They are not mandatory.
6. Shiny Clause: If I encounter a shiny Pokémon I can catch it, even if it is not my first encounter.
7. Dupes and Species Clause: If you have already catch a Pokémon or any Pokémon it's evolution line you do not have to catch it.

I'm thinking of reviving the Ultimate Gym Leader challenge. Unless Sydian wanna revive it? :3

I don't think the actual Nuzlocke thread is the best place to put this, so I'll put it here:

If anyone is interested, I am currently participating in a Nuzlocke competetion through r/Communitylocke2017. We're all playing through Emerald and collecting points via certain rules and whoever gets the most points at the end apparently recieves prizes. Thought it might be cool to get some of you seasoned challenge people in on the fun. My reddit username is Eflatmajor in case you see me over there.

Here is my idea:

Movie Genre Challenge

Overview: Do a play-through using a team themed after a genre of the latest movie you watched in the movie theatre.

Challenge rules:
- If the first Pokemon on your team is not found early in the game, then you can use your starter until you find the first member of your team.
- HM slaves are allowed only if necessary

Your team must have a certain theme to one of the following movie genres:
- Sci-fi: Any Pokemon that is based on machines, artificial intelligence, and extraterrestrial life
- Horror: Any Pokemon that resembles ghosts, the undead, and giant monsters
- Crime/Gangster: Any Pokemon with a mobster-like motif (in both appearance and in Pokedex entries).
- Musical/Dance: Any Pokemon based on a dancer/singer or has a music motif
- Fantasy: Any Pokemon with a medieval motif (dragons, knights, archers, elves, dwarves, spell casters (mages), kings, queens, court jesters, etc.)

That's actually pretty nice idea, but I would do it not on last movie you saw in theatre, but overall on movie of player's choice.

Also, maybe it would be interesting idea to ban some types in different genres.
