  • It's not due out until next week, I got it early, aha. But yeah, it's a PS4 exclusive, at least for the moment - Neptunia games seem to be making their way over to PC, so I expect this one will too. Considering the characters are personifications of consoles, and its filled with anime/game references...yes, it's very animu. Dunno if that's your sort of thing or not, but the gameplay is pretty solid and I'm not complaining about anything so far. Which is rare for me. xD

Nah no worries haha, I like anime so this is fine. I'm an Xbox guy so unfortunately I probably won't play it (not really into PC either tbh) but I'll give the trailer a watch to see if I may follow the game or not!

I don't think I've ever seen this thread go by so fast lol

I didn't know the Xbox had exclusives still! /shot
I'm not much for PC gaming either...yet. I have a very nice Predator laptop (well, I think it's nice...) and over 100 Steam games, I just haven't gotten around to them yet. Do you watch many LPs, then? I tend to just go out and buy the games I like the look of rather than watch other people play them...my mind wanders and whenever I'm on my laptop I inevitably find myself embroiled in other things.

  • As an outsider I'm def gonna have to disagree. There are threads popping up about like specific users all the time and its the same couple of people doing the majority of posts. Way less cliquey back in the day imo.

And as someone who has seen these cliques and who has been exposed to their toxic attitudes from back then, current PC is way more enjoyable and friendlier. If you have been around and active the past couple of years and actually mingled with the userbase, this would be evident.

Posting a few times and disappearing is not how you enjoy the community in full, nor is it how you get any sort of informed perspective on PC's current community. There have been so many amazing people that I've met just from joining PC's Discord within the last year, which is actually a huge part of getting to know the members around here, what they're like, what their interests are, etc. I've felt so much more comfortable with the current crowd of users than some of the self-entitled people who thought it was just edgy and cool to be arrogant pricks, which was basically the entirety of mid to late 00's

  • I sometimes forget how freaking old PC is. I shudder thinking about what would have happened if I had discovered in 2003 when I was a very annoying and excitable 10 year old.

A little bit! Not as much I used to though, unfortunately. I would predominately watch Rooster Teeth and Game Grumps for the most part, but they've gotten stale for me. I now predominately watch OneyPlays and Tear of Grace which are just a lot funnier to me. What about you?

You probably would have been banned cause your hyperactive self would have revealed you were 10 lol

I've never watched anything like that, aha. Well, I watch the Jimquisition most weeks if he's not complaining about Steam or something else I'm not interested in, and I used to watch Zero Punctuation back in...2012 or so, I think? I find watching this stuff kinda like watching sports. As in, I would rather be engaging with the things myself (if I played sports, which I don't. xD) than watching other people play/talk about them.

It probably sounds narrow-minded, but at the end of the day my opinion is the only one I care about, because other people giving games high review scores and enjoying them has no bearing on me enjoying them, and I don't buy stuff just because other people like it. And all the games I like are niche and get low review scores or none at all so yeah

TBH I was the same kind of 10 year old.

    We'd probably be like twins!
