Cult Crusades
This game is pretty different from your standard game of mafia and is based on the mafia model of Bardothren?s Joker Game series. Four cult factions, each lead by a powerful recruiter, will fight it out in an effort to control all the players in the game and eliminate their adversaries. The catch is that players joining one chat will not suddenly be removed from another. So you?ll need to be sneaky to win as you?ll have a hard time knowing who is really on your side.
Like all mafia games, this game is split into two phases. First, the night phase during which recruiters will select people to add to their chats and where those with special night actions will be able to put them to use to help their team win. Secondly, the Day Phase in which everyone will vote to lynch a player and remove them from the game. The game is over when one cult controls all remaining players.
Followers: Followers are the remaining players who the popes will be recruiting. Several of these followers will have special night actions that can be made use of to benefit their popes however I am not making these abilities public. If two popes recruit someone at the same time, the follower gets to choose which group they become aligned to.
2. Do not PM share or copy and paste information from one chat to another. You aren?t prohibited from telling one chat what is happening in another, you just can?t provide direct proof.
3. Format votes as [lynch] player
4. Do not post in the night phase.
5. You may abstain, but you must publicly do so. Missing two votes without publicly abstaining may result in expulsion from the game.
6. If you?re dead, that?s it for you. Don?t continue to post in the thread. The exception is one death post which may not contain game related information.
7. Have fun betraying each other!

The Roles
Popes: These are the leaders of the four cults and are known publicly. Each night the popes can recruit someone and have them join their chat (if they aren?t already in it) and become aligned to them. They also have two one-time abilities. The first can only be used at night and is to block another pope?s recruitment.. The second is an action they can use at any time and is the ability to kill any player in their chat. These abilities can be used simultaneously with their recruitment, but not with each other. Pope?s cannot be killed unless there is nobody in else in their chat. If a pope is lynched while they have someone in their chat, their next recruit will have a 50% chance of failure.Followers: Followers are the remaining players who the popes will be recruiting. If you want to be one of the popes, you must state as much when you join the game and provide a name for your religion.
