Battle Tower (Information, Discussion, etc - like your neighborhood Ursaring)

Flash Cannon hits what Vacuum Wave already does for Super Effective, no point in limiting his effectiveness by giving him Flash Cannon. By the way, Dragon Pulse pretty much guarantees neutral coverage, since the only thing that resists it, is Steel, which Fighting takes care of with ease. Now...

Battle Tower (Information, Discussion, etc - like your neighborhood Ursaring)

Eh, my Battle Tower team wasn't really great, but it was quite fun to use. Did get me to 112 wins before I got haxed out. Hippowdon@Leftovers Impish Nature EVs: 252 HP, 252 Def, 6 Atk - Earthquake - Stealth Rock - Roar - Slack Off Used for two reasons, one for a Stealth Rocker, and two to set...

Testing the waters... VERY FIRST TEAM

Yes you may have 2 (or 3) things weak to electric, but if Jolteon is still around he will gladly take those Thunderbolts for some free healing. Also if you really want Earthquake, Tangrowth can make use of it albeit one that does not gain STAB.

Request an Individual Move Set Thread

There has always only been one Life Orb in the game, people just decided to clone it a few times on the GTS. Plus this forum does have a trading section, I'm sure if you got WiFi someone can give you one

Request an Individual Move Set Thread

Best options are Swift Swimmers and Dry Skin pokemon... Omastar, Kabutops, Kingdra, Ludicolo, Huntail, Gorebyss, Relicanth, Floatzel Most of these pokemon have average speed, so doubling it due to Rain can make sweepers out of tanks (Kabutops etc). Kingdra and Ludicolo are probably the main...

D/P OU RMT - All Consuming Darkness

The only move Forretress has that would limit me really would be Stealth Rock, taking 25% of my Revenge Killer, who by the way doesn't have to come in when someone dies, so if Forretress does appear when I have Gliscor out, I can at least scare the iron clad bug away with my Houndoom, hardly any...

D/P OU RMT - All Consuming Darkness

How exactly does Forretress pose a problem? I mean yeah it gets Bug Bite in Platinum, but if you bothered to read the title, its a D/P team. Forretress weak with Houndoom is also lol

D/P OU RMT - All Consuming Darkness

Changes made to first post. Only problem is that I still have to breed a HP Electric Mild Houndoom.

D/P OU RMT - All Consuming Darkness

May I just ask, what merit does Taunt have on that Gliscor set, wouldn't a STAB Earthquake work better against Lucario, not to mention stops Heatran switching in ever so freely on Fire Fang?

D/P OU RMT - All Consuming Darkness

Yeah always thought Heracross was gonna be a pain, just was hoping that I could cover him with something. Dusknoir does sound like a good idea, but how effective would that set be as a lead? I guess that's what I should've expected for using a slow revenge killer, hopefully I get lucky with...

D/P OU RMT - All Consuming Darkness

Mono-Dark Team - I noticed when I was training some of my pokemon on Pearl that quite a few of my favourites are Dark Type pokemon, so a mono type team would be fun to use. However since this is WiFi, no Platinum moves and easy on the HP. Spiritomb@Leftovers Pressure Careful Nature EVs: 252...

    3rd Gen R/S Monotype Challenge

Basically with with the link of the image between the two brackets... Anyway, I decided to trade myself a Meditite (can't believe I didn't realise it was part psychic for ages) so I can finally take on those annoying dark types with one of my team, and not just rely on Torchic to do so...

    4th Gen Diamond/Pearl Monotype Challenge

Thanks to a whole lot of Sand Attack hax, I was able to beat Roark with my Starly, she evolved after the battle. Then I traded over a Scyther and Togepi (for Togekiss, part flying) Then trained Scyther and Togepi til they were both level 15 like Staravia.

    4th Gen Diamond / Pearl Q&A Thread

Actually they wiggle when they only need a little bit of exp before they level up... Don't know the exact number (or percentage) but at a guess i'd say about 98% it starts to wiggle
