I thought it was an interesting read. I definitely think whoever wrote this is looking WAY too much into things, though - but it's hard to tell if this is an actual suggestion for what the series might mean or if it's just random theorizing.

I feel the same way. Although playing through Sapphire with Treecko as my starter was the most painful experience I've ever had. I do NOT like that evolutionary line. :P That being said, the storyline for the game was just fine IMO.

I would like to sign up for this challenge - I will be leveling through with a Krabby being sent in via Egg from my SoulSilver, and my Krabby will evolve. The challenge itself will be on my copy of HeartGold. ^_^

As sad as it is, with as much work as I've put into my entries and how surprisingly attached I've become to my little Electric type Pokemon, I think I'm going to drop out of this challenge, at least for now, as I've decided to pursue a solo-run challenge instead and want to use my HeartGold...
