I'll still never get over the "Pokemon is Satan" accusation or whatever that was. Shame that Kadabra got pretty much written out of anime and TCG continuity because of Uri Geller, or the whole Porygon line being never acknowledged in the anime again outside of cameos because of being the Pokemon associated with the "seizures".

When you consider the Yo-Kai's designs were very Japanese at best, it made sense as to why the series wasn't able to eclipse Pokemon's popularity on an international scale.

I am someone who loves to dump salt, so it explains my rant. I'm someone who becomes increasingly worried when a drastic format change occurs, since it makes me wonder if it'll become the new norm. I know that Japanese kids like slapstick because they have short attention spans, and I'm worried a lot of child-targeted anime in the future will be made solely to appeal to that.

I knew Sun & Moon was going to alienate me from the moment it was first revealed in CoroCoro. Didn't help that Rotom Dex is pretty much a Whisper expy.

It's that the popularity of Yo-Kai Watch (which is a slapstick-focused series) made Westerners feel concerned about it shaping the future of kid-appealing anime. Remember Yo-Kai did dethrone Pokemon as far as CoroCoro presence is concerned. At least Yo-Kai being confirmed as nothing more than a fad (due to its slipping ratings figures as of late) may give me some hope that when 8th Gen starts, we may see the Pokemon anime improve based on viewer habits and changing trends.

I don't have enough space for it. :( But... stuff like Love Live and other idol games, lol.

I don't have Heroes actually. Mobile gaming was never something I was terribly into, and Nah's not in it right now....but it is still tempting to get it. Maybe when i get a new phone.

What's even more sickening from this news is that a journalist from Heath Street wrote an article praising an anime for female empowerment, but the website's owner deleted it and replaced it with her own article, claiming it's child porn.

XYZ 47 was a really nice way to finish things off. I'll talk about the moment in the next paragraph. I didn't like Delia call much, because it implied they had been talking off-screen when I want more Delia xD but the battle was nice to see to complete XY full circle. Flashbacks were flashbacks and Pallet Town at night was amazing.

I'm happy Amourshipper's got something exclusive to their ship. To me it feels bittersweet for Amour though, because (A) if she never returns then it's a goodbye kiss (B) if she does return it's going to have to be awkwardly addressed or is swept under the carpet and (C) we still don't know Ash's stance and probably won't for a while, if ever lol. But it was still nice to see, if a little safe (Amour get's a kiss, non-amour gets to keep hope alive through confused look). But that's my interpretation of it so yeah, any Amourshipper would tell you other wise!

Yeah Battle Tree is most likely a post-game activity. Most of the things named Battle something tend to be like that. I really do hope that this game has a lot of stuff to do, I'm tired of games with lacking post-games/content.

Stuff in that trailer was really unexpected. I figured Decidueye would be Grass/Flying like the previous 2 forms, and that Incineroar would be Fire/Fighting. Best part tho was the Battle Tree thing, I really hope it's good
