  • Aww, I bet they are really cute. Does the lovebird get along with the other two? I got two budgies by the way :3
    Hi there! :D
I love how your location says "With the Birds"! Makes me wonder if you've got any pet birds?
I don't think it's a bad thing, either. I was an elementary/special ed major before and while I don't miss all the dumb education system bits of it, I do miss the opportunity to work with children with ASD or any other kind of disorder, really. I just gravitate to people with differences, I suppose. But yeah, I'll never understand people having this idea that they can "cure" autism. It is a part of what makes a person a person if they have it and it comes out as, "I'm going to work to make you less of yourself!" which isn't right at all.

Thanks for the info, though. I'd hate to go around still thinking this organization was doing any good.
At least grass is neutral offensively to ice and Sceptile carries Focus Miss. Im breeding a Treecko right now, and I'm planning on transferring it over to the games. I don't care much for torchic, and I'm choosing Mudkip. I have heard mostly positive things about Gen III and it appears most people liked it. I agree with you- gen 6 was definitely subpar with (in my opinion) bad starters except for Greninja. Competitively, It was great and brought a lot to the table.

Im also trying to think of ideas to make the game harder while using the pokemon I want to use. Im not going to use the exp. share and will limit myself to one of each pokemon and nicknaming each of them. Do you have any ideas?
My profile also says I'm online...I know that! I just thought that was kind of funny, I guess. On a more positive note, are you excited for the release of ORAS?
Thanks. I know we haven't exactly been on the same page in the path, but I'm happy we at least respect each other's beliefs. I have got to go answer like 6 quotes now lol. :)

Edit: it was only two, my bad. My account seems to duplicate the quote under notifications. I didn't want to make it seem like was lying.
Oh, even more impressed you did the work yourself, I didn't know you were an artists!!! They look great.

Exactly. I have had issues, even with others who identify in my same "group". I don' t even want to get started on GLAAD!!!

I really take issue when a group speaks on my behalf, it makes the individual have no voice, only those with the resources and power to do so. Which changes self-perception and perception of others in cultivating identity. The mentality is, if GLAAD thinks X then I must also believe X as well.

Either I am trying to "act straight" (implying not gay enough or ashamed/self-loathing) OR I am not being masculine enough or breaking enough stereotypes. So I completely get where you are coming from!

I think this sort of dynamic pushes people to take " a side" ....and I am an advocate against polarization among groups and the general population on a grand scale.
I agree with most of what you said; it felt like they rushed to introduce four more characters so they made the game up to par with the former titles, but they forgot to put much thought into them, so instead they came up with these kind of dull and flat characters that were forced into the story and had no relation with the original group whatsoever; that's what made the Lost Age so wonderful: to have all these characters that you were acquainted with from the start (mostly) join forces. In DD, it just was, "oh hey, you're strong, you can join us." The bonds between the characters were almost non existent. For the most part, I feel like Rief and Amiti should have been the same character.
That's pretty much the reason i stay out of D&D forums most of the time. There are a lot of people that think their opinion is right and yours sucks and then if you prove a valid point they try to counter argument with something like your gender or age and say you have no right to talk because of that :/
