I agree, it sounds great in OR/AS! My favorite tracks are the rival battle music, Team Aqua/Magma leader battle, Gym Leader Battle, Elite Four Battle, Steven Battle, Wally's battle music, Primal Reversion Battle music, and Zinnia's Battle music. So yeah, pretty much everything. xD

As much as I love ACNL, I do agree that Animal Crossing is better on a console. The gamecube one is still my favorite! It had a charm that none of the later games have.

I didn't watch all three simultaneously (Pokemon aired first, then Digimon and Cardcaptors, and YGO was a teenage thing...there was also Monster Rancher at some point) so they were separate crazes for me, aha. None of them were ever as big as Pokemon were though, at least in terms of worldwide phenomenon. The games helped too. xD

That makes noooooo sense. Although I wish it was feasible; I'd buy up all the Madoka merchandise in existence and put it to the torch. Fortunately I have more sense than money in this instance. xD
Stickers were fun! Although getting the one or two you needed by the end was so very difficult; nobody wanted to trade properly because they knew how desperate you were to finish your collection off D:

Self-employment is a scary prospect...you have to do your own taxes. Studying tax as part of my degree put me right off that idea, haha. Still, good luck! At least you'd get to pick your own hours that way; the freedom is wonderful even if the added responsibility is not.

I always used to work through my lunch break so I could leave early...or I took it ridiculously late so when I got back I only had a couple of hours left to work. Easier than working overtime! Yeah, unless it's something you enjoy, the longer you work, the more depressed you feel. I used to do 8:30am to 5:15pm Monday to Thursday, which was hell...but then I got to leave an hour early on Friday to compensate, and it was the most wonderful feeling in the world. xD

Aha, with the sole exception of Mew Lettuce, I have never liked green coloured magical girls. There's just always something in their personality that puts me off. With Makoto, it was her overly contrived feminity to try and mask her blatant masculinity that irked me.
I like the dub for it's nostalgia value; I used to get up at something like five in the morning to watch the "cartoon female Power Rangers" as I saw it back then. Plus 90s dubs were unashamedly cheesy and did nothing to hide it - Cardcaptors was the same. Modern dubbed anime is often too uptight about being faithful to the original and, whilst it's of good quality, that sense of fun is gone. I guess that's just me being old though. xD
It IS overhyped! I miss the days when Disney did proper animated movies, rather than all this CGI crap. The last truly good Disney film was The Emperor's New Groove, in my opinion. Some of their later Pixar films have been good, but it's just not Disney!

Do hotels even have video game console services anymore these days? Bringing your 3DS to school can be fun because of Streetpass and whatnot.
Speaking of which, I should try picking up old unfinished games... I don't think I own anything from my childhood older than a decade, however. Wait a minute... Never mind. there's my Pokemon games and my GBA collection, all of which are beaten.. I'd say I was pretty good at finishing games as a twerp... eventually. xD

Since a person that wasn't a mod created the VGM room, for a while I considered making the anime music room myself and posting a thread. But then I remembered how I posted a "Rate the anime music above you" and not a single damn was given. Well, there was one response... but those kind of threads are supposed to keep on rolling and it has remained stagnant. Second, I've only watched about 50 anime shows/movies and would pretty quickly run out of decent music to share. Eh you know what? I'll pitch the idea to the Anime and Manga DCC to see if anyone cares. I would prefer I not have to be the one who creates it since I'm kind of a casual anime fan compared to the others and how I'd likely still want to spent most of my time in the VGM room anyway. If the anime music room does in fact become a thing, I really hope to see more variety than "generic shounen anime op" that used to be the trend of music sharing on old anime music threads before they died. x'D

I've heard of it! I've actually purchased a Polynesian body wash from there and I just love it (it's only 3 dollars!), so yay for Yves Rocher! ^^ Oh yes, Sephora definitely is expensive. The reason I like Ulta is because it's not just high end makeup, they carry drugstore makeup, too. :) Oh my gosh, was it the Pink Polka Dot brush set? I have that! :3 Never heard of that highlighter, I'll have to look it up and try it! Right now I'm using the Benefit Watt's Up Highlighting stick. :)

I think if they had been released when I was a kid as well I'd have a small collection of them by now, I LOVED collecting things as a kid...and as a teenager. These days I have more money than sense and just collect JRPGs, aha.

Well, if you don't need to get up, why bother? If you can function without a fixed sleep schedule, don't have one, aha. Consistency is nice, but if you sacrifice enjoyment you might get from staying up (or sleeping in) then...eh. Whatever works, I guess? xD
Yeah, a degree doesn't guarantee you a job these days. I spent several very tense months looking for work after I finished my postgrad before I found myself a job...which I then had to quit in order to focus on my health, but eh. I'm dreading trying to get anoher one. If you're not picky, finding one is easy...it's getting it that is difficult.

Wow, that was a pretty short-lived career! Still, so long as everything worked out and you're happy with the work, tis all good, yes? Overtime is nice, but not if you're forced into it...I was asked to work a couple of extra hours on my Saturday shift when I worked at a shop in my teenage years - on top of getting up at 4:30am to be in for 5:30am - and I hated it. You feel obliged to do it, and the time just drags onnnnnnn. Fixed hours can be very depressing, but at least you know when it's all going to end, and that you won't have to come in outside of hours.

Ta! As I said, Mercury is best Scout. She's blue, has a water theme, short hair, and her original dub voice is the cutest thing ever. And yes, that is a Frozen parody...I saw a couple of Ryuko/Satsuki as the two leads, but it works so much better with Gamagoori in drag. xD

I doubt they're pulling a K-ON on us. It's far too dramatic... The only conflicts in K-ON from what I can remember was whining about studying for exams or the lack of cake. xD
But man, if I were in the band... I'd be mad, too! I get that some of them are beginners, but never in my life have I seen a high school level concert band/orchestra that is just so out of sync and without group unity! It probably wouldn't win me any friends but... I can see myself being all "Awright punks, ya better get yer act together cuz you chose to shoot for the Nationals so we're gonna do it the right way whether ya like it or not!"

I did! This came right off someone selling a Samus amiibo with two arm cannons. I like the fan-made ones that have been painted or modified to look like other characters....someone made a Mewtwo amiibo that worked with Pokemon Rumble, I think. It's crazy; collectible figurines haven't been a big thing like this since the early 90s, aha.

My radio isn't set up, so when my alarm clock goes off I get a static buzz which scares the hell out of me, aha. Fortunately I'm pretty adept at waking up at more or less the same time every day and have no issues getting up, so I don't need toset it up. But yeah, it's one of the worst ways to start the day x_x
Student strikes wouldn't get very far here I don't think...which is a shame. But it's all relative I think...the British pound is one of the most expensive currencies out there (if not the most expensive) so of course whatever we pay is going to look outrageous to pretty much everyone else, aha. Although it definitely IS outrageous to pay that much for a single semester. Far easier to study abroad and pay half the price once you've exchanged your money for the local currency. xD

Staying up that late/early is its own kind of self-discipline! I could never do that; my habit of going to bed before 11pm would override my desire to stay up late and I'd be gone. I've only ever stayed up later if I've been out of the house or if I've been having urgent Skype conversations. From my perspective it's pretty impressive =P
