Oh, that. No, that wasn't much fun at all, although that was as much due to how unbelievably crappy the whole setup was.
Yeah...anime is stopgap entertainment; something to do whilst you wait for other, more interesting things like games to roll around, hehe. I've not watched quite as much recently myself, just my breakfast episode.
Yup. I think I'd look sophisticated with grey hair, and keeping on top of it with dye would be time-consuming and expensive.
A bit of both. I have considered a Reyn theme from time to time, yes...although Dunban or Melia would be my first choice if I was going Xenoblade. I might just go back and black, white and grey after this though. I'm not feeling particularly colourful at the moment.
(Coincidence? I think not. Hurr. What is your favourite track thus far?~)

That depends on whether or not the production is professional and where you want to sit...tickets for my last opera cost me around £30, and the seats weren't too bad. I was more irked over the cost to get there...London is a fair distance away from me.

Switching between two SRPGs sounds all kinds of tedious to me, haha. I typically break up the same genre with at least 1-2 games of different ones in between. But then, if I don't I start seeing numbers in my sleep. xD

It's difficult to feel patriotic these days, really. I mean, parts of the culture are brilliant, but there is just as much to dislike, and politics ruin everything. Things ain't what they used to be...if you believe history, anyway.
Well, studying it in College definitely helped...plus all my favourite TV shows had historical references in them. I got really into Egyptian mythology when I was watching Yu-Gi-Oh! the first time. Mythology is generally more interesting, I think. History just repeats itself.
The resemblance is uncanny, no? xD

Mhm. Brand names sell. A brand name will get you a free pass from critics and an automatic purchase from a lot of fans, regardless of quality. Case in point? We both have copies of Triforce Heroes.
Closer to 8 or 9 actually, if you're going to convert...but it's still a good price, considering special editions are normally £15+ more expensive than the standard version. I'm paying £50 for Hyrule Warriors Legends' special edition, and the standard is £30. Most special editions cost a lot more than that, though. It's why I don't buy many.

Yokai Watch is to kids now what Pokemon was to us when we were their age, I guess. At least for now.

That would have been nice, yeah...a nice one. The ones included with the RBY 2DS bundles here were tacky as hell, and not available on the eShop anyway. I've got the Skyward Sword theme, because I like the artwork...even if the game itself was piss-poor. My XL has a special Xenoblade theme I got with the game which uses Gaur Plains' daylight theme instead of the main theme <3

It really fits the game, too. Well, most of it. NLA has the worst town themes I have ever heard...excluding P4, anyway. And FFXIII-2. Considering how atmospheric the rest of the OST is it's weird and annoying though.

I did all of them...well, sort of. Technically I didn't do the Hell Wyrm, because I set Gambits up to let the AI fight the battle for me, haha. I loved that sidequest, though! Not as addicting as Triple Triad (far less infuriating, though) but a huge step above Tetra Master and Bliztball. UGH, Blitzball. Another bad memory of FFX HD's platinum.
    *hisses*
What the hell is THAT? Can you eat it? xD
In Soviet Russia, Dumbledore kills Snape. There were so many fantastic memes of that on YTMND back in the day, haha
Maybe. SRPGs are something you very much need to have motivation to play, after all. I'm kinda in the mood for one myself...but I'm getting Stella Glow next week, so.

    I'm pretty sure I've seen that before...well, I've seen Smile Cure Eeveelutions and Peace drawn with Pikachu, but Pikachu Peace? Must be around somewhere...I don't have many Smile pics saved. Just talking about it makes me want to do a Cure Peace theme though, she's one of my favourite Cures. xD;

Lion King II was amazing; it was one of the better Disney sequels! The Return of Jafar was great as well. It's the songs, I think. Movies like Mulan II and Pocahontas II are awful because their songs suck. Liam O'Brien has two roles? Good call. That game needs all the points in its favour it can muster, considering how poisoned I am against it. xD

You'll be really feeling it in no time >:3

Is that Corpse Party font? I've never actually played multiplayer with anyone here...probably because most of the stuff popular on here is PvP, and I detest PvP. I've always preferred co-op stuff.

Rumour confirmed, by the looks of it. I'm cackling it delight, considering how many people would want Earthbound on their 3DS. Serves them right for not upgrading! I've got Super Metroid and A Link to the Past to buy next week, too. Now I just need to pray for Secret of Mana...it's been YEARS since I played that. N3DS should get GBA titles too.

I just love euphemisms, don't you? xD

I wonder. Based on what you've told me of yourself and your tendency to hold back your more assertive side, it may not be for a while. I'd hope so, though. I find heated discussions enjoyable, and misunderstandings are a test of tolerance - if you can get past them, it becomes much easier to talk to people. At least, I've always thought so. But who knows. I'm fine with whatever. xD
    well, good luck!
yes i have, but i still haven't found anything as good as hibike. Dx; rn i'm watching dagashi kashi and dimension w. well, at least dimension w has a really cute robot girl. o: for now i'm just excited for the ace attorney anime, eheh. and it's coming out the day after my birthday, too. :D
    i haven't even played mk8 with friends yet. o:
it's kind of an unnecessary change tbh. xD and pieri had a nicer ring to it. omfg her english voice...i listened to it on youtube, she sounds like she needs some cough drops omg. but i guess it's kinda charming in a way. i've listened to most of the voices and i really don't like camilla's (sounds like a cougar to me) and effie's voice. :pink_no: oh shit, you can? awesome...! xD

this world will never have enough cats. speaking of cats, i recall your oldest cat had disappeared a while back...you still haven't found out what happened, have you? :pink_frown:

well, looks like i was wrong, they will add some new stuff very soon after all. xD what did you think of the latest direct?
    omg, that would be awesome. the waifu age is coming xDD;
    P
Oh, I don't count the time spent a waste, as a lot of my plats were great fun to get, but I really shouldn't have wasted time on time-consuming titles I didn't really want to do. But yes, fun is the point, so if the plat isn't fun...screw it.
That's pretty much all that immediately attracts my attention, really. I just read summaries on MAL and ANN and decide based on that. I will watch almost anything...or at least, I will TRY almost anything.
Who knows. Stress causes grey hair. Although I think I'd be fully grey by now if stress caused grey hair in me. My mother dyes her hair as well, but it's far too much hassle for me...I used to want to dye it all the time because of the colour. Now I just don't care. It'll do whatever it wants. xD
...sort of. I might even stay blank for a while. I'm a tad irked with it all right now and don't really feel like being decorative. I keep meaning to PM you but I'm too lazy, haha. So many choices...but one needs to find and/or make the right patterns first, haha.
(About 90% of Xenoblade's OST is orcestrated! Asides NieR, I've never heard better...and the final boss theme is easily the best I've ever heard. THAT CLIMAX. God damn. Glad you're enjoying it, though~)

Uh...well, no, not really. Opera isn't really all that niche (at least, I don't THINK it is...) there's just a lot of it. If anything, my favourite - Der Freischütz - is very mainstream; Weber is pretty well-known. I know a lot of the themes, but not the words...I can't sing in German. God knows I've tried though. A lot of productions come to Southampton as well, but I've never been there to see them.

Might as well; you've already bought the thing so you're not losing any money by trying, haha.

Well, there's nothing wrong with a little patriotic pride I suppose. Education seems to be an issue for a lot of MEDCs these days; I am so glad mine is over, because they've been screwing with Secondary quite a bit, and University fees are now up to obscene amounts. I've always been particularly interested in Roman History; I did a course on the Julio-Claudian period in College and loved it. I love ancient mythology, too. It's so much more creative than modern mythology...uh, I mean, religion. Woops. Have you looked into ancient history much yourself? :3
He reminds me a bit more of Scrooge McDuck than he does Donald to be honest, haha.

At least. Zelda turned thirty last month. People just aren't into long-standing franchises anymore I don't think...not unless they're released on an annual basis, anyway. A lot of the older ones have fallen by the wayside. It's impressive on some levels Nintendo have been able to keep Zelda in particular relevant when there are long years between new titles.
I have the Premiere edition for Gamecube, the hardback one for Gamecube, and now the hardback one for Wii U...I won't use it for its intended purpose, but it will look nice on my shelf next to the other ones. I have indeed ordered the special edition! I got it at a discount so it cost me less than the standard edition did...and there was £5 difference between the two anyway. £5 extra for an Amiibo and soundtrack CD. Wut. xD

Too Japanese and aimed at the wrong audience, yeah. If it was aimed at JRPG trash like me, it would probably do better for fitting into that niche. Probably.

It IS very nice, yes. Very shiny and silver, although the blue logo doesn't fit quite as well on it as I'd like. I've not used it much; been using my standard-sized N3DS more recently. Bought the sprite Pokemon faceplates. Looks amaaazing. The whole reason to buy these things for some people is to sell them back at inflated prices...I've thought about it with some of my stuff from time to time, haha. Nintendo stuff rarely ever drops in price.

Yeah...the moments associated with Monokuma's theme definitely make it more tolerable. I think it's SUPPOSED to be bad. xD The track is "Don't worry" from Xenoblade Chronicles X, if you're curious. It's very bad mangled Engrish, but it's catchy as hell. Over the raaaaaainbow~

Montblanc is definitely the best Moogle. Ivalice improved literally everything.
End all your sentences with "kupo" when you talk to me and I will ignore you for an entire month /shot

In Soviet Russia, unit breeds you.
Sometimes the more you know, the worse it gets, as what is revealed doesn't necessarily excite you. I think that's part of why I didn't care for XY as much as I might have - everything was leaked beforehand. It's great knowing what the general gameplay and stuff is like, but when it comes to specifics I think it's better not to know, so you can explore and find out for yourself. That's part of the fun! Might as well watch a Let's Play if you're not going to discover anything.

Suite's transformation theme immediately got me, too. The entire sequence is fantastic, it's very reminiscent of the original Sailor Moon anime, only more dynamic and with a much better background theme, which makes all the difference. It's the best passive sequence I've seen yet. But I love Smile's active way of doing things, too. Cure Peace is the most adorable thing ever. The two styles aren't really comparable though.

...he's voiced by CAM CLARKE?! Oh gawd, I LOVE Cam Clarke! He voiced Liquid Snake in MGS...please tell me he sounds like that. If he does, I will buy the game just for that. He also sings pretty good.

Well, it took me two weeks to finish it, and I probably played it a lot more than you would, so...yeah. It's a long term investment. Buy it anyway. It is useless to resist. It is your destiny. *insert Imperial March here*

Timezones, or work schedules? Arranging stuff can be a friggin' pain, especially when the other person is asleep. xD

I doubt we'll see Gen III on the correct Virtual Console, but I can live with that...I just want GSC on my 3DS. Preferably this year. HG/SS are great, but playing Yellow has given me nostalgia on overdrive, and that's just not present with remakes to the same degree.
I'd suggest not actively looking for information on games you're interested in - look at one or two news sites (I use Siliconera and Gematsu myself) and leave it at that. Or don't even look at general articles at all once you've decided you want something unless it's related to the release date. A lot of stuff is being released regarding Trillion right now and I'm ignoring all of it since I've decided I already want it. Hopefully when the game comes out next month (end of this month for the US) I'll still be interested enough to play it. xD

Nerves, maybe? You did say you were anticipating a slightly busier time of it. I get a lot of nerve-related stomach distress...it's one of my numerous health issues. It's good that it didn't last too long, though - the only thing worse than having an upset stomach is having one and not really knowing why.
Jolly good; I wouldn't want to pressure/irritate/overwhelm (delete as appropriate) with exhaustively long VMs that take an eternity to respond to, aha.
    P
    Well...
    Spoiler:
hahahah, my tsundere radar is tingling. :p

oh, sounds like a plan then. c: do you know what you'll be studying? well, for me it really depends. i remember making a few friends during my first college year, but none at all in the second year. now, at uni, most of the friends i made are actually anime club people. xDD ahh, you got mk8! we should definitely play that too even though i haven't played it in ages and i'm probably rusty af omg. oh, did you end up buying fire emblem fates? i can't believe they removed the petting mini-game. well, actually, i can. :pink_laugh:

oh wow, i didn't even notice! neato ~ :gawk:

new pm coming your way ~ i kinda wish they would still update the game. well, i've heard they might have more plans for it in the future, but somehow i don't think that's gonna be anytime soon. xD btw, did you watch the squid sisters concert? it was awesome.
    thanks ~ it's good to be back, i still think about you guys from time to time. ;;

uni has been great, but it's obviously been keeping me busy...i did make some new friends and that's another thing that's been keeping me busy, which is unusual for me since before uni i pretty much had no social life whatsoever. xD i haven't been playing video games much recently aside from a bit of splatoon every now and then...but i almost never get the chance to participate in splatfests /totally missed the last splatfest but i'm happy we won xDD; anyways, how have you been? is the job going great?

ah, thank you! oh wow, that sounds pretty sweet. i'll need to check that out when the playthrough is up o:

i actually remade my skype recently, i can pm you the username if you want. it'd be great to play splatoon together again. aha, but no i still haven't reached max level. i only play for short periods of time nowadays. :pink_cry:
    P
I don't remember that, but then it has been...uh, several years. At least five. xD
I usually have the EDs on my iTunes if I like them, I just run out of patience before they come on at the end of the show, aha.
I can't remember the last time I forced myself to do anything...outside of video games, anyway. I am constantly forcing myself to plat things. xD
But watching something twice in a row is boring! At least, I like a gap of about a year between watches. Usually two years, because I have an assortment of stuff I like to rewatch.
Nothing is safe from Rule 34, it seems. Nothing is sacred anymore...if anything was ever sacred to begin with.
Well, as a kid I was always very conscious about the colours I was wearing. That said, my hair was several shades brighter when I was a kid.
Who knows...who cares, aha. Our profiles do contrast quite a bit with one another...much like our personalities, aha. I really need to find a nice pattern for the inner bit of the profile; I was having difficulty colouring things so I just went with a single colour. Mine is lazier than yours, in other words, haha.

I wouldn't mind hearing it in real life! It'd probably be in a theatre or something, and the acoustics would be amazing. Live performances are amazing <3

Hahaha, so it was for your curiosity rather than mine? Well, maybe I'll indulge you if/when the time comes...I don't really lose anything by doing so, and who knows? Maybe it'll surprise me. Well, Xenoblade Chronicles 3D has an achievement system in-game! I'm glad Nintendo games don't for the most part, though...it lets me set my own pace, which can be a welcome relief when usually I let games set my pace for me. I suppose difficulty is all relative, then...although in my experience, if you get stuck on one map with conventional tactics, there is typically a very specific way of beating it easily. Don't force yourself to play it if you're not enjoying it; pick up something else! You can always come back to it later, after all. I'd say you just need to find the right game to hold your attention; I have this issue frequently and usually I just have to cast around until I land on something I can get stuck into. Ultra Despair Girls was actually the last game I blitzed through as well; I platted it in just over a week, and it was all I played. I've taken a while with games since then.

I think Walt Disney would be turning in his grave if he could see what his legacy is, honestly...it's come a very long way from what it once was. America was great right before the financial scandals toppled what made it great, aha.

I wonder if the problem is with the individual or the games? A lot of people say the industry is in decline, and it is true that originality is pretty much dead; it's all be done before, and who wants to play the same thing over and over? Some titles get by on that and some don't...hell, that's Nintendo's entire marketing strategy: re-release the same decades old title every couple of years. Sometimes I wonder if I should be more selective with what I buy and play...

Nostalgia is a powerful driving factor in what we like and dislike! I think a huge part of the reason a lot of us are still into Pokemon at all is because of the nostalgia value it has; we remember the good times we had as a kid and keep buying the titles regardless of their quality. I try not to let nostalgia for things I enjoyed stop me from enjoying new things that are very similar - nothing owns a genre, after all - but...yeah, it's tough sometimes.

Yeah, American is still very Christian, right? I suppose Britain is too, but I've never seen a politician invoke the Lord or Jesus in one of their speeches. Guess it's got something to do with immigration or something. Don't ask me how Nintendo manages its supply and demand, because I have no idea what the hell goes through their heads when they do these things, haha. Too much demand, not enough supply, and they never seem to foresee this...

Precisely! It's like how dramatic vocals are typically reserved for bosses. You get exceptions to the rule, but an exception to the trashy J-Pop rule can't be anything but a bad thing. xD

Sawano worked on Xenoblade Chronicles X as well...he's very much a composer that you can't really appreciate unless you've seen the media his works are composed for. He doesn't compose good music by itself, he composes good background music. I loathed half of XCX's soundtrack...until I heard it used in-game. I then warmed up to about 90% of it.

...yes. It should have been Clash on the Big Bridge. xD

Not really, I just have a thing for white hair. Aesthetically speaking, of course. It's rather refined and beautiful...and most of my favourite characters have it. xD
This doesn't surprise me...Fire Emblem has never really had compelling characters. It's a side effect of having a huge cast and little room to work with them.
Yeah, sometimes Tumblr does something right with these collective memes. xD

Honestly, none of them. Well, Takanashi's other Precure seasons - Fresh, HeartCatch, and Smile - all have excellent OSTs, but they're not of as high a quality as Suite's. They have one or two memorable tracks apiece and that is it.

Eh, dancing was different back in 2006, so I'm willing to let it slide, haha. The villains in Futari Wa are a bit weird, but the ones in Splash Star are considerably stranger...and far more awesome. Moerumba is the most amazing villain ever. One of these days I'm going to use him for a theme, perhaps.

*nudges you strongly in the direction of Xenoblade Chronicles*
I find it easier to just buy everything that looks remotely appealing and roll with it.

I'll pass...I don't like PC gaming. That's my excuse and I'm sticking to it, haha. It sounds interesting, but I'm not entirely sure it'd be my cup of tea...yet, anyway. Still new to the rhythm game genre in general.

I don't read or watch a lot of British media these days...I watch a lot of old shows that finished a while back. That said, there are a few British comedy shows I still watch when they're on, though~

Well, as a kid you're in competition with other kids, too - gotta finish it first for bragging rights and to avoid spoilers! Anticipating something for that long might be why you're not that into it...you get excited for something that long and it feels very anticlimactic when you finally DO get it. It's hard for games to live up to hype as you get older I think, as your expectations become more specific and/or elaborate.

Eh, you're not obligated to answer or anything; you can take your time or not respond at all if you so choose~
I never had one back then.. didn't know you could perform that glitch until 10 years later too xD; My only legit ones are from events! Don't have the GS one yet personally, not sure if I will ever get. aaaaa I don't want to spend tons of time SRing for that perfect one so lazy
i suppose i am, at least until my break is over. xD; we'll see how active i can remain after that.
    P
Well, both were forgettable Chessmaster-types, and with the Homoculi running around things were pretty satisfying without them. I love Brotherhood's third and fourth OPs in particular, I think. I rarely, if ever, pay attention to EDs. My attention has usually wandered by that point and I've never been one for credits. The only ED I've ever watched every time is this one. Oh, and there was this, but it was only showed at the end of one episode and I didn't really know how to react to it. xD
Lurking is easier than posting, yes. Sometimes I think I post a little too much, I've become unusually chatty for me recently. Although there are irl reasons; I'll start shutting up again soon, haha.
But when you know what the original intent is, does it really matter? I realise the intent changes with the word, but with the context it's very easy to interpret things correctly...but then, this is coming from someone who is very easily misunderstood in this regard, so I guess it doesn't bother me as much as it does most people. xD
    Urgh, tentacles. Horrific ._.
Uhm...maybe? I actually meant wearing bright coloured anything when you've got my hair colour can make you feel like a colourblind traffic light, but thinking back on it I know I've heard someone make a flippant, offhand comment about colour co-ordination recently...I hate it when I don't get my own references. xD
Huh, go figure. I'm prophetic. Better write this down in my diary...

Painful on the ears, though. Even with the glass being at its most brittle, the note would have to be very high.

If the game is going to bore me anyway, no sense dragging it out...and let's face it, there isn't a huge difference between difficulty in FE titles. Enemies hitting harder and providing less EXP isn't difficult, it's just time-consuming. I probably shouldn't be so close-minded over a game I've not even played, but...well, ehh. Nothing I've seen or read suggests to me this will be any different from Awakening.

Pretty sure not all the people working in them are American, though. Although a lot of the better writers are American, admittedly. Corporations these days are more global things than anything else, though...at least, the better ones are. Marvel and DC have had about 30% of the market share snatched from them by independant writers though, and a lot of people are splitting off from them to write their own works. Which is awesome. Sure, they're not all as high quality as Saga, but the diversity is great!

Priorities change, too - you don't have as much time as you used to do to play games etc because of other things, yes? I rarely play games for longer than two hours at a time these days, and I used to plug away ten hours or more into a game. Stuff isn't going anywhere though, so one can take one's time. The problem is more stuff keeps coming out in the meantime...

Unfortunately yes, as that kinda defines my time in Secondary School...and my roleplaying days a couple of years ago. But I think as you get exposed to a genre more and more your perspective on what makes a good or bad game in it changes: I used to worship the ground FFVIII walked on, and thought FFX was amazing...and then I discovered Tales of Symphonia. A lot of games don't age well, and P4 is probably one of them. I say "probably" because I only played it on the Vita, and by then it was already awful. Maybe I'd be in the same position if I'dve played it earlier; who knows. I've not played P3, it cost too much on the PSP, aha.

But RNGesus sounds so...unrefined. Random Number God sounds much better! I tend to curse karma quite a bit in real life, because it feels good to have someone to blame that's not me, and if I see my bad luck as coming and going in chunks, it means I have something to look forward to and thus might be able to retain my sanity. I think we'll be OK, though...there is still a lot of Bravely Second SE stock (not that I bought it, but I DID keep an eye on it) and I think that was pretty high demand. Fallout 4's Pip Boy edition was in stock for at least two days on the site as well, and if FE is more popular than THAT I'll be quite surprised.

Guess you're lucky then, aha. I've had to mute games so many times in the past because the music has gotten on my nerves, either because it's very badly composed or because I've gotten sick to death of hearing it. This is the overworld theme in Trinity Universe, for example. You spend a fair amount of time on the overworld map. I lasted about five minutes. I got chills hearing it now.

Uhm...gimme some time to put some links together, haha. I mostly listen to piano remixes though; a lot of the games I play usually have piano as an accompanying instrument rather than as the dominating force of the track. The entirety of Nier's piano album is a good place to start, though. Also, most of the stuff by this Youtube channel. They even make Attack on Titan sound good. But this might be of greater interest to you~

You might. FFIV-VI have a nice balance of story and gameplay, with the former not bogging you down in concepts and the latter being simple yet fun. Well, a lot of people ignore FFV, but I quite liked it~

Oh...eh, she's not THAT pretty. She doesn't have white hair, for one. /shot
Her outfit does lend her to *that* kind of fanart, I guess. Her personality is what makes her so endearing...she actually has one. At least she sparks a reaction.
Ohhh, I read about that on Tumblr! Into the puberty void you go! I laugh every time I read that post, it's fantastic. Naughty children get sent to the Baby Realm for a timeout. That deserves to become a meme. xD

When the cliffhangars start hitting, it definitely will, haha. There's always a difficult month for waiting for the next episode, and it's a nightmare. Hmmm...if you want a similar experience to Suite, watch Fresh. If you want something different, watch Splash Star. If not for Suite, Splash Star would be my favourite season. The ED isn't too bad, but nothing beats the original Futari Wa ED, in my opinion. No CGI, and the villains get in on the dancing too. They also sing it in class one time, which is pretty meta for Precure...reminds me of Serena and Molly singing the Sailor Moon opening in the dub. xD

That was probably just me complaining. I have a love-hate relationship with Level 5 titles.

Might have something to do with the different playstyles? I guess it's easier to click than it is to press buttons. The screen is very busy in Miku games as well since you have the video playing in the background. VERY busy sometimes, it's hard to see. Button mashing is harder than rapid-fire clicking, too, because the buttons offer more resistance.

Eh, it's up to you, but I don't mind either way...I'm used to people not knowing about/not liking my more obscure interests, haha. We can usually find plenty to talk about regardless~Although if you ever want a series of books or TV series to watch I have many MANY recommendations I could talk about from now until the end of time.
Eh, I dunno either. Don't really care what other people are doing either to be honest. xD

We're all disappoints to our younger selves, right? We never fulfil our childhood dreams! At least, I'm not a Power Ranger yet, so there's that. My younger self would be SCREAMING at me right now for not even opening five or six of my games...two of them on 3DS. Bravely Second should be arriving today and I doubt I'll open that either. I'm totally wrapped up in Digimon at the moment...

Yeah...this one took me a tad longer. But then, I've been flitting about on news websites and micro-managing my iTunes, so I've been stopping and starting, haha.

Oh, internet permitting, I'll be on Skype around the time of the Pokemon Direct if you want to watch it together :3
We all have that 'flaw'. :D As long as everything is cleared up, it's all good. :D

I can do that after I'm done with the Kanto Classic training!! (:
It's not the details, silly. 'UG weirdos' <<< Some people might take this wrongly, you know? :o

I'm hella cool with searching for avatars. But if you guys don't wanna feel restricted, just lemme know of yall wanna search for your own avatars, I'm completely fine with either. (: As for the signature, gimme sometime I'm a busy guy, hahaha. :P I might resort to Meloetta or Shawn when it comes to signatures, but that's a last resort -- I rather want to do things on my own than rely people.
    P
It made things more interesting and, whilst Father was a considerably better villain than Dante - who felt entirely random - the Homoculi more than made up for it. The OST for both series is great, too! Some of the OPs are absolutely dismal, but that's pretty standard for anime, aha.
I should probably get around to actually doing some replies to it myself, as all I'm doing is posting it...which is all I do on this forum, asides from VMs and the occasional post in chat threads. Always seem to be too busy to do the stuff I should. xD
There might be on Youtube, although I doubt it...whenever someone gets creative, the response is usually irritation. Damn purists.
Wait, seriously? That's...uh...surprising? I mean, it isn't, because it's absurdly popular for reasons that escape my comprehension, but it is because it doesn't seem like the kind of thing that would attract artists like that...weirrrd.
Ahaha, when you hair is already messy by default no matter what you do to it, wearing a hood has no visible effect other than to flatten it a bit. It's difficult finding the right colour hat, too.../shot
    Guess he's pretty busy with...things.

Possible, but extremely difficult and highly unlikely to happen, even if you're a trained opera singer.

I might. It depends on what else I have to play and my mood at the time. It'll be a balance between not wanting to sink more time into a game I won't enjoy than necessary and not wanting to let said game get the better of me by choosing the easier difficulty.

Not much has changed, then...all three of those franchises have been around since my parents were kids, haha.

I'd say finish Shigatsu and then use SZS as a pick-me-up, but that's just me, aha. Finding the time to do stuff is difficult, though, especially when you have so much you want to do.

I'd forgotten all about that...yeah, it was rather irritating, mostly because he kept bringing it up entirely out of context. I don't mind a little perverted humour, but it needs to be properly timed, and they tried (and failed) to turn it into a running gag. I'm surprised P4 is so popular and well-liked, to be honest...sure, the gameplay isn't so bad, but the characters are so offensive its beyond ridiculous.

I did! That game is...awkward. The soundtrack is spectacular, the gameplay is solid, and it's absolutely beautiful visually, but it has no soul whatsoever. It's like Ni No Kuni - drab. The cast are all monotonous and boring. It's one of those games that should be incredible but isn't. It's like the dream it's supposed to be: great, but there's that thing that is slightly off that stops you fully enjoying it...well, it stopped ME fully enjoying it.

People say that sort of thing? /never heard that term before

You just haven't heard any really bad game music, haha. There is plenty of it out there :3

I suppose that's true...ORAS' soundtrack was substantially less offensive without that godawful trumpet soundfont. It wasn't great, but it WAS an improvement. Touhou is probably more or less the same thing; the piano and metal remixes online are pretty spectacular. Piano songs in general, or Touhou piano songs specifically? I have many of the former, but not many of the latter. xD

Depends on what you want out of an RPG, really...Square Enix's systems are a bit of a mixed bag. The older FF games (I-VI, except maybe II) are great classic RPGs, although after that it really is a question of style over substance, as you need to really get invested in the plot in order to enjoy them. Square Enix have fallen pretty far off their pedestal, I think. FFXIV was quite enjoyable, but that was due more to the players than it was anything else; the story was DREADFUL.

So the FE fanbase slams its only and only character from Awakening with any personality? Wow. What is the difference between the wholesome and unwholesome reasons for liking Tharja? xD

Well, you can't expect a lot to happen in three episodes...and really, that should come as a relief. The last time a lot happened in three episodes was in Dokidoki, and that went to hell after the first half story-wise. I'm dropping it for now, though. I'll pick it up again next January or something and just keep an eye on it...I want a full version of that OP as soon as humanly possible, it's become my third favourite already. xD

Well, they've not announced much yet; it's only February, aha. I wouldn't say I was curious about Yokai Watch, no. I'll get it if I have the money, but I've pretty much made up my mind about it, aha. It's one of those "you'll probably enjoy it but not that much" games for me.

Because you're not familiar with the songs, perhaps? That was my reasoning; I only tried Project Diva f because it was in a sale, and I bought Project Mirai DX because it had Doremi Fa Rondo in it, which is the greatest Miku song EVER...oh, and the demo was good, but that one song swayed me. With songs with vocals, it's more difficult to like them, I think.
Oh, I don't think SOME of the things I've enjoyed you'd like very much, haha. SZS is a safe bet, though.
I think he just brought it up because I mentioned how Ako was left out, idk. Really, it works better as two pair collabs than it does as a single one.

Aha, well, I think I can understand that...maybe not share it, as I WILL go back through a game to get something I missed (I'm going to have to do that in Digimon, as I missed a medal in Chapter 8...) but it is a serious hassle when you miss something to go back for it.
If there's enough demand, you miiiight get a sequel on the PS4 or something, although I wouldn't count on it. It's been five years since Okamiden, and that was about five years after Okami, so if something is announced within the next couple of years...

D'awww. This took me about half an hour, aha.
Shush, you don't want the UG fellas see that. -sneezes- FOLKS, SHE'S JUST KIDDING. Okay, there we go. :B

And yes, I'm glad you don't hafta go back and forth between Hummy and Muse.~ You can focus on eating my cupcakes! ;) Yes I'm Cure Rhythm. ;D
You misunderstood me again like you did in 102... Ugh Anyway Shawn has already promised. HOHOHOHO
Ya know what? We have a Pokemon direct sooooon. (See Serebii for more ;) )

I'm so sorry to her that, she must have been amazing!

The answer is hell no! Lol The reason for allowing you two to play 2 roles is because we are lacking of people to join this Suite collab. You are allowed to play double identity Cure Muse and Hummy in your case and Seiren/Cure Beat in Meloetta's case. (: I hope that perfectly clears any misunderstanding. :P
I might ask Shawn to go for Cure Muse, but we'll see.
    P
Because the manga hadn't ended yet and I suppose they were strapped for ideas...or wanted to do the movie. The awful, AWFUL movie. Wrath was Izumi's kid in the original, right? One thing I liked about the Homonculi in the original was how they were far more personal to the cast, rather than just random minions. Sloth in the original was so much better than Sloth in Brotherhood. I LOVED Wrath in Brotherhood though, he took the fight scenes up to eleven. Bradley definitely made a better Wrath than he did Pride.
We all have our favourite places to post in, no? I mostly lurk in chat threads these days, outside of maintaining POTD and occasionally tl;dring in video game threads. Honestly, if not for POTD, I'd probably stop posting altogether...
Or just not assertive enough at this moment in time, anyway. Which is probably for the best...people still like you, after all. At least you haven't pissed off 90% of the forum like I probably have. xD
All the best fanart comes from Japan :3
I remember watching an episode of Ore Twintails Ni Narimasu where one character got punched so hard that her subtitles flew off the screen with her. I think I probably woke the house up from laughing so hard at that! The first fansub of the Sengoku Basara movie was subbed by some hardcore yaoi fans, too...I swear they made half the script up. They MUST have. It probably pisses off the sub purists so much, but it makes the shows so much more entertaining in my opinion :3
Probably because Western culture doesn't find it socially acceptable to draw explicit images of young girls...the only ones who would be eligible by Western standards would be Cure Moonlight and Cure Ace, and the latter would be disturbing anyway, because Aguri is almost as young as Ako, she gets aged-up for Ace. Blaaargh. It's not cool, regardless. Precure's primary target audience is young girls, this lewd fanart is just as bad as the MLP stuff floating about...
It does! My ears are never cold. Although I typically have a hood up, so that might be part of it too. Hoods are very good hair control. Even if they do make you look like a thug/gangster/chav. xD
I dunno, I've not asked him, haha.

As long as windows don't break and car alarms don't go off outside, it's all good!

Eh, anyone can do them, it's not particularly difficult. If enemies hit harder you just draw them in with a stronger character - and Fire Emblem ALWAYS gives you one of those - and then swarm them, or box them in and then pepper them with ranged from a distance. You have to be ridiculously careful, but it's not difficult at all~

The USA has a culture? /shot

I'll keep my eyes open...it'll be on a site I visit almost immediately when it comes out, so...eh.

Yeah, I have a weakness for some character types (or voices) which drops my usual standards significantly sometimes...anyone voiced by a few voice actors usually gets a free pass regardless of how irritating they are, haha. You don't like Teddie? I thought you loved P4? :O

Well, there isn't much to say. I had to rack my brains for a couple of minutes to come out with those, aha.

It might be, it's happened before...although I doubt it. I can't see GAME selling out online instantly anyway, and even if they do, my local store is usually pretty good for stuff. I'll worry about it when I need to. Unfortunately I do have to worry about it, because mother will want the full package. xD

    We'll cure you of that, don't worry :3 /shot
You can like whatever, obviously. xD

It is rather relaxing, in the way of many piano songs. Piano is awesome, it can even make Touhou tracks sound amazing.
Yeah, Jim's been dressing up like that for a while now, aha. Square Enix are very much a style over substance company these days with their new titles, unfortunately. They have a few good staff members left over from smaller developers they've absorbed - like Cavia - who release good games every now and then, but when you get idiots like Motomu Toriyama gumming up the works...abandon hope, all ye who enter here. FF has died a horrible death. XV won't save it, it's been stuck in development hell for too long, I think.

Probably because she was the only character in Awakening with even a shred of personality. Hell, even I liked Tharja. She's the only unit whose name I can actually remember. Gotta have another dull-eyed creep in there. xD

They are, it's still not out yet like, anywhere. NT is having issues though - I've been using Magnet for the last few days to get anything - so that might be why. Hopefully it'll be out in the next couple of days. Not that I'll watch it, probably. xD

Not NEW games, no, although they've been keeping a fairly consistent schedule with re-releases and what have you. Anyone excited for Federation Force is objectively and morally wrong. Star Fox...ehhh. I doubt I'll buy it launch day, but I WILL buy it at some stage. It's improved quite a bit since its reveal, but I don't think it'll be enough to make it memorable, somehow. At this point I almost miss Star Fox Adventures...

Ehhh, I've played a grand total of four rhythm games - three of them Miku titles - in my life, so I wouldn't know how popular they are or aren't...I just know I see a lot of Guitar Hero DLC most weeks on the Playstation Store I have to sift through to find stuff that isn't junk. xD
It would have been funnier if you'd said "I am in despair! Your lack of an avatar has left me in despair!" but as you've not seen SZS yet...ah well. xD
I can't really be bothered with an avatar at the moment is all.

Liar! You haven't completed your Bestiary! /shot
I only ever played Okami on the Wii...the controls were so awful I sold it within a week of getting it, aha. I'm guessing it's a title you're particularly fond of if you went out of your way to 100% it? Did you ever play the DS sequel? :3
